OMG. This place. Swung by before the beach to get good sammies and this place went above and beyond- a deli with an attached butchery and Italian grocer. Went for a 'small' sandwich and got the attached honking feast. Freshly made rolls and subs, all the best meats and cheeses lovingly made. The packed cases of alll the in-house meats, salads, dishes and favs. I'm hoping they ship! I came to Fratelli's hungry and have been craving a chicken parm sandwich for the last few days. It was my first time here and I was expecting, at the very least, a solid chicken parm meal from a legitimate Italian market. Whenever I walk into my local pork store I'm always greeted with a solid, sincere hello! acknowledgment, anything. Aligning with prior issues that have been reviewed on here, I was met with the young guy, leaning over the display counter, thumbing away On his phone.. eyes met , then nothing, not even an head nod. At least when I walk into an unknown deli on parts unknown Long Island I'll get the, "what's up boss, what can I make ya?" No big deal though, I knew what I wanted. I ask The kid to make me a chicken parm sandwich. With the personality of a wet paper bag he acknowledges it by writing it down on the dupe and heads in the back. The "adult" of the store walks out onto the floor, tasked, but managed To gave me a solid hello..... fantastic , all is well now, my feelings have been lifted. Fast forward, I get my sandwich, go sit in my car to dig in and I hate to give bad press to a mom and pop shop, but it was bad. Ice cold, cutlets overtly thick for that type of sandwich, and just basic flour breading, zero flavor.... Hats off to The bread guy though because the bread was great. Overall a very disappointing sandwich, couldn't even finish it , certainly not what I was expecting ... I hope this review reaches the people in charge and the above issues are dealt with appropriately and specific people are squared away. it's a tough business to make every customer happy but attention to the little details make a big difference. read more

Very disappointed with the fresh mozzarella. I was told it is made fresh daily but the mozzarella was extremely dry just like the packaged mozzarella you purchase from the food store. Please stop telling your customers it is made fresh daily when obviously that is not happening. This is not the first time this has happened to me!!! read more

Good selection of great sausage. Just ate a parsley and cheese coil. Full flavored, porky, juicy, unguent. Nice selection of fresh antipasti, pastas( fresh and dried) and all Italian ingredients. Not the selection that Uncle Guiseppi has but the sausage is better. Give them a try! read more

I have gone to this store since it was Aiello's Pork Store for the best soppressada around. The last few times I have been there the young guys behind the counter are nothing like the other owners who would greet you and be friendly and eager to help. Today there were 2 kids behind the counter one helping a customer and one standing there. He passed in front of me 3 times and never made eye contact. He was leaning on a counter behind the olives looking down (maybe on his phone). 3 times I said, "excuse me" and he still didn't look up. FINALLY I said loud enough "For Gods sake am I invisible can't someone even help me!!" That is when he came over. They need to hire better help there it stinks! read more

Premade fell short of my excitement and expectations. Stopped in to grab some pre-made food for dinner..... Penne Ala vodka pre-made was dry, not good flavor and sell by was yesterday, (which i missed). Eggplant parm no good, kids refused everything. Usually like this store for the cuts of meats, however won't be buying the pre-made entees anymore. Not to mention, I stood on line for 25 min with only 2 patrons ahead of me, with most people working in the back. Hope this was just a hiccup! read more

Fratelli.. I'm feeling kinda generous so the 3.5 is rounded up to a 4. It's a pretty solid pork store here on this strip of Jericho/25/Middle Country. FYI it's Jericho to me. Anyway... service is always good and on the more friendly side. They have your typical Italian fare and then some. They also have a little market to get some of your favorite Italian staples. I did notice they had a bit of a larger olive assortment which next time when I can control myself I will be trying the lemon olives. Some prices are a little steep compared to the Ronkonkoma Pork Store but I blame the Fratelli name added to it. No harm no foul though because when it comes to good eats I'm willing to give it out. My biggest complaint was the Stuffed Artichoke we got. It was bland and the leaves were rather tough. I think as much as I like a good Stuffed Artichoke I think I will stop trying to find the perfect one. Though I had a delicious one in Oyster Bay after Oyster Fest with Roy and Lana at Oyster Bay Fish & Clam. That bad boy was stuffed with bread crumbs and lobster meat. Ooooh baby that was GOOD. I've been coming to this place for 7 years ordering sandwiches and buying prepared salads etc. the food has always been good, and the staff is always nice, that's why they have two stars. Today I went to pick up a sandwich that cost about $14 a month ago and about $10 5 years back. Today the sandwich was $20.83. I know inflation is real but even at 10% that would've made the sandwich $16. I paid and mentioned this price change and the staff said their prices went up. I get it, I do but I'll never buy another thing from them. A 25% increase in price is ridiculous even by todays inflation standards. Again I bought it because I don't want to be the jerk that wastes food, but that's truly the last dollar I'll spend here. If you want good food and friendly service AND you want to be ridiculously overcharged then by all means shop there. It's a shame because it's really the only real nyc style Italian deli nearby. read more

I ran in tonight for a few things, which I was surprised it was open and not limited to how many people in the store. It was good to see the staff had masks on but the cold cuts were not covered , just sitting out and the customers in there did not have a mask,so those cold cuts were exposed. I purchased a few things , one being a fresh mozzarella. It was disgusting. And i was very disappointed because its always good there. Well when I got home and took the items out of the bag I found the glove that the guy must have had on. I was so grossed out. Guess i won't be going back there any time soon read more

I recently popped into Fratelli's pork store in Centereach to pick up a few steaks to bbq for a family gathering. Once I was inside I couldn't resist stocking my freezer for the month. There were just so many amazing choices, from chicken kabobs, and specialty burgers to their mouth watering marinated skirt steaks. The sides... I could go on for days. I ended up getting all the fixings to make an amazing charcuteriebourd, that my mother in law raved about(takes a lot for that one). At checkout I had to add the fresh mozzarella and a huge loaf of Italian bread. From the second, I walked into the busy shop I was blown away by the friendly team, the customer service was just amazing and they made me feel like I was at home. One of the owners introduced himself and told me if I ever need anything to just give them a ring, I have kids, so sometimes it's hard to make it in the shop. He suggested calling ahead, so the order would be ready for me and one of the guys would bring it out to the car for me! How's that for service? I'm giving five stars because I can't give more.!!!! read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. We used Fratelli's to cater our BBQ. I am Celiac and they totally disregarded this fact and cook only food I am unable to eat. I basically overpaid paid for professionals to not be professional. When we pointed out to them at the party that a mistake was made, they made no allowance and were not apologetic at all. So if you are stuck with any type of food allergy like I am and you gamble in using these guys good luck. My family will never use them again. This is a great place to get meats, cheeses, and salads. I came here to make a charcuterie platter for a party. I got 1/2 pound of three different cheeses, in addition to sopressata, pepperoni, and salame. They are not cheap, but they are not expensive either. It was approximately the same price for the meats and the cheeses as I would have gotten at a grocery store (maybe a little cheaper for some items, and a little more expensive for others), but at Fratelli's it's all fresh. This makes all the difference. I will be going back for my cured meats and cheese needs in the future. read more

Very strange. Everything looks great, but weird spices used in Stromboli. Almost as if a middle-easterner tried to make Italian specialties. House made mozzarella very bland. Stuffed artichokes over-stuffed with tasteless bread crumbs and very dry. On a good note, the grilled vegetables were expertly done and very tasty. The rustic foccaccia was also very good. Opt instead to go to A&S pork store. Much more authentic. read more

All of the sandwiches here are amazing... particularly the chicken with mozz and tomato. The seasonings are just right on everything that I order. Yum! Though the first experience I had at Fratelli's was because I was passing it on the way to a friend's house.. Spent $24.99 per person + 15% gratuity for their catered BBQ. 50 people = large bill. All sorts of meats and veggies grilled over charcoal for a 3 hour duration as well as salads, cookies and watermelon. Food was great, but was disappointed in the method of serving the food. First off, they said there would be a 6 foot grill. It was 3 foot. The problem with that was they cooked all the inexpensive foods, hot dogs, hamburgers and sausages and chicken wings first. Then they announced the food was ready, There were no steaks, ribs, chicken kabobs, steak kabobs, etc. prepared. The 3 foot grill couldn't handle the quantity of food. During the setup, here I am bragging about the skirt steaks, filet mignon, beef/pork/chicken kabobs...and by the time they were ready, everyone was fairly full on the basics. Like I said, everything was good, and we were given all the leftovers, cooked and uncooked. Their setup and presentation was excellent, 2 tents, serving tables, hot chafing dishes, etc. Their method of serving was hampered by a too small a grill. Then the coals started getting cooler, and the food cooked slower, etc. They never refreshed the coals and over time, that "sizzle" and "char broil" vanished to just "cooked". Just a heads up to the owners. Something that could have made the catering excellent.....larger grill to get ALL selections of the food on the line at the same time, and adding charcoal to keep the heat up. read more

And the guys That did the grilling were very helpful in setting up and very polite to my guest.
