Good meat market. Family have been coming here for years even when it had previous ownership. Been in the same corner spot in this small strip mall forever it seems. From when I came here with my dad as a kid, seeing the sawdust on the floor, to the penny gumball machine this place brings back good memories. We still drop in now and then to pick up some things for the BBQ. Decent prices and good selection. Hard to find a real butcher shop anymore. Always nice to know they are still around. read more

I went in and grabbed a couple of pounds of chicken cutlets. They were sliced and cleaned perfectly! The young man behind the counter was very pleasant and professional. We ordered a 4-foot hero for a party, half American and half Italian. It was amazing. The guests raved about it. They use Boarshead cold cuts, the toppings were fresh and they were generous with the cheese. Service was also very helpful and efficient. The gentleman helped me carry it out to my car. Been coming here for years and I can tell you I will never come back. The people act like they are giving you good service but they don't. I asked for 5 pounds chicken cutlets POUNDED out....After the butcher pounded the first one he showed me....is this good he said? great yes I want 5 pound like that POUNDED OUT. I come home go to prepare cutlets for my family and the rest of the Chicken cutlets 4 1/2 Pounds are fat and not pounded. You guys suck ! you knew what I wanted, you even asked me, you just didn't want to do the work. This is the 3rd time this has happened since this place changed hands. It will never be the way it was. I rather go to fratellis pay to much but get it perfect every time.!!! don't waste your time here anymore, its a shame what it has become. read more

I live very close to marino and sons so it is usually my easy way out of creating a meal. I will not be returning though, after many unpleasant chicken products i have to inform others to beware. I usually end up going on a friday night and will make the chicken saturday . This friday i picked up 4 chicken burgers, 2 mushroom and 2 spinach and they were all bad by saturday. I refuse to buy chicken cutlets because they seem to 50 % of the time also be bad even the day of the purchase. Unfortunately for this reason i will not return. read more

I have been coming here for a few years but recently moved to Huntington, therefore searched for a butcher in that area. There was no place even close to Marino's in terms of service and prices. I take the trip to Centereach from Huntington because Marino's is unmatched. Prices are great, service is great, and greek pasta salad is FUEGO . Can't recommend this place enough. read more

We just recently purchased aged porterhouse (2 weeks) steaks and they were absolutely phenomenal! they were ultra flavorful and tender. They just started serving sandwiches made to order. Not only are all the ingredients fantastic, everyone there is super nice and hard-working. When I ordered my sandwich they were out of the bread I wanted. So, I asked them to make me a hero out of it instead, knowing it would be more than I originally would have spent. They gave me the price of my original order to compensate for not having the bread I wanted. You won't get that at subway. $10 for a huge hero and 20oz Pepsi. These heroes are meant for 2 people. This business as a rule is pretty good but as of late the friendly smiling face has been replaced with guys with attitudes.The meat is over priced and at times the run a special in the local town flyers. The best was a coldcut combo, you use to get 1/2 of the following,boars head ham,boars head turkey,land o lakes american cheese and no name swiss cheese all for $9.99 The latest cupon wich is required to purchase this is now limited to one per customer and the amout of the cheeses were cut back to 1/3 a pound instead of 1/2. I questioned the guy behind the counter as he was slicing the order about the drastic loss in cheese and yet pay the same price, hoping the customer will not notice the loss. His scarcastic remark was well thats the way it is now and the price of cheese went up. I asked why not increase the combo price instead of loss of product? he did not answer and i said well with let product the package should be lower, he did not rply just had a sner on his face like too bad or get out. This family business is turning into just another over priced meat market with rude employees. Wake the hell up owners as the customers have the last laugh by not returning. stop trying to fraud your customers in your cupons. People are not as stupid as you may think. Lastly get the more pleasant ladies on the counter instead of rude guy who really dont like their job. This entire event took place on8/28/14 at 3pm.
