When I lived in San Diego, this was one of many options to shop for healthy groceries or organic products. Parking is fair - while I've never had a problem finding a spot, depending on the time of day you arrive to shop, you may find a spot closer to the front or may need to park a bit further and walk through the lot. They sell everything from produce to bakery items, to bulk and hot food. Prices are very reasonable here and they have a wide variety of items one can shop for. My folks are a fan of their date nut bars and they like that they're made without unnecessary ingredients. You will need to bring your own bags like many other California markets, or you'll pay 10¢ per bag. read more

They carry one of my favorite snacks here! Their chili pineapple tidbits are so good. It's been hard for me to find a brand that doesn't cut the pineapple too much to the point the texture isn't great, but these have the perfect texture and taste. I really enjoy the snack diversity in the bulk section along. The coconut covered dates are also good. Have to try more things, I got stuck on the pineapple. In the chip aisle, they carry some chips that Takis fans should check out: Zach's Mighty Rolled Tortilla Chips (Chile Lime Flavored). They were a good alternative since they don't have dyes, but too heavy on the citrus and not enough on the spicy. I prefer the Sprouts brand, but these were fun to try. The pricing at Frazier Farms is mostly fair and consistent with the quality of the products offered, however some items are a bit off when compared to other stores that carry the same product for less than half the amount. This was my first time at Frazier Farms and I wanted to get a sandwich. I waited for probably 5 minutes or more to get helped at the counter and even made eye contact with one of the employees there, I think his name was Danny, and he just ignored me completely until I had to raise my voice a bit to ask if I could order, which I hate doing and should never HAVE to do. When I finally got his attention he rudely told me that there is a form to fill out and then walked away and started talking to another coworker. Normally this would not be that big of a deal for me to write a Yelp review, but he genuinely seemed like he hated being there and that taking two seconds to help me, a first time customer, was a huge hassle for him. Lowering my review due to several instances where Frazier Farms was shady. I was tolerating it because I like this place, but the last time I went there it was worse. A few weeks ago they had a special on pork, half off deal. I got home and noticed they had actually modified the scale to double the weight. So it wasn't actually half off. I was tricked. I come here all the time. The deli sandwiches are great and they sell a variety of fresh produce. My favorite local market.

Finally the store has somebody normal, nice, friendly, not half asleep and treating customers like their bothering them! His name tag said, Daniel, (front end mgr, I believe?) but I'm certain it said Daniel. My receipt says it too. He was so kind. I stopped going there years ago because of the cashiers that worked there were always yawning, tired, bored with their job, no greeting, way too laxed in their job, treated people poorly. No hello, no thank you, no eye contact. Nothing. Just forked over my hard earned $$$ and GTFO. The moral sucked. Daniel is a breath of fresh air and I will return to Frazier Farms as long as he and people like him will be there. He is an asset to your company! I also noticed him interacting with another employee treating them with the atmost respect. I visited Frazer's around 6:30 p.m. on February 22, 2026. The cashier (I believe her name was Ariyanna -- spelling may be off) was at the first register closest to the exit. During checkout, I handed her the tag for an item I was purchasing so she could scan it. There is nothing unusual about handing over a tag to ring up an item. However, instead of simply completing the transaction professionally, she maintained a visibly rude and dismissive facial expression throughout the entire interaction. No words were said to clarify anything. No confusion was expressed verbally. Just a consistent attitude that made it feel like we were inconveniencing her by being there. My family and I were polite the entire time. I understand that everyone has off days, and retail can be stressful. But customers should not feel uncomfortable or unwelcome while spending their money. Professionalism includes basic courtesy -- even something as simple as neutral or respectful body language. I genuinely hope her day improves, but other customers do not deserve to be treated that way. If similar experiences continue, I would feel the need to take further steps .I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that management reinforces respectful customer service. read more

Really want to like this grocery store, but there are too many things holding it back. I'll start with what is good here, the selection of organic food as well as alcohol is definitely above average (no hard liquor though unlike Trader Joes). It is comparable to Jimbo's, Lazy Acres, etc. but the produce and deli departments fall short of this greatness by a lot. The sandwhiches from the deli have been wildly inconsistent in my experience; from the price to the portions and overall quality. I am ordering the same sandwhich every time, mind you so it should be the same. One time they forgot to put the meat I circled in it. Sometimes the sandwhich is tiny and feels like a kid's portion. Other times it is a nice portion that's loaded but I would say that is rare. The staff is where things start to degrade as they could use more training in general. Cashiers could be friendlier, deli people need to learn how to read. The store feels a bit cramped and it always seems very busy which I don't like.. I would say this store is a cross between Jimbo's and Major Market or something. There is no self checkout so I have to deduct points there. They do have an express lane at least. Here's another thing I have to deduct points for: they let people solicit right outside the door and they are always there, sometimes even 2 different solicitors. Trader Joes respectably does not allow solicitors in comparison. The prices are decent and certainly better than Sprouts for the most part, but who isn't? About ordering groceries online: They are not on Instacart! They do, however let you order groceries from their website but I am unsure how good it is, haven't tried it. I thought about ordering online and having grocery's delivered and you do get $10 off your first 3 orders if you do this, but I found out I'm just outside the free delivery range by less than a mile and so there is a $10 fee which is pretty ridiculous. There are some hidden fees as well as I ended up buying everything that was in my online cart in person and it was significantly less. To summarize: Pros: - Above average selection of organic and "natural" foods - Prices are better than comparable stores for the most part - Decent alcohol selection (but no hard liquor) Cons: - Solicitors always outside the door - Inconsistent sandwhich quality, portions and price - Store isn't on Instacart - Staff could be better Overall cannot recommend Frazier Farms for reasons I described. read more

I had been going to Farms since they first opened in Vista. It was run by the Frazier parents for years until the dad took sick. When the children took over, everything went to crap. The prices increased well above inflation rates, and the quality of vegetables was noticeably worse - bad combination. I went in today to buy a couple of items and when I was checking out, I was asked if I needed a bag. I requested a paper bag and was charged $.15 and every other grocery store that I have gone to charges is $.10 for a bag. I know it is only a nickel, but, it is still a rip off. Earlier I found out through my own observation that they will charge certain vendors money for shelf space. While it may be common in the larger grocery chains, I will stop buying at Farms Farms, because the quality is not like what the original founders produced. They literally treated my son like he was trying to swindle them out of their sandwiches. When the sandwiches arrived the order was wrong. I had ordered gluten free bread and it was regular. I came in for their soup - split pea soup specifically. I came across some in the Oceanside location and thought they world carry it here. They did have it in the hot soup/salad bar section. There's a good selection of organic, gluten free, Keto foods. Prices are a bit high in the store overall. The store was stocked and clean. I noticed they had organic rotisserie chicken. I can't get that at Ralph's anymore and Sprouts for some reasons doesn't carry it. I will definitely return here for that. read more

This has to be my favorite place grocery store! Everything from their baked goods, fresh food, and selection of healthy food. One of my favorite things to get here are actually their sandwiches. They're so good and fresh! You can get one of their sandwiches for around $6. While you wait for the deli staff to make the sandwich, you can shop around and get your groceries. I never thought I would leave a raving sandwich review from a grocery store. But! Boy-oh-boy was I wrong! Frazer Farms Market is mentioned a lot in local groups on social media. I kind of forgot about their sandwiches. But now I am back on the sandwich wagon at Frazer Farms. My wife was hungry. She somehow, thankfully, craves sandwiches almost more than I do meow. And she loves pastrami. She ordered the French Albert on our way out. We knew it was going to be good simply by the satisfying aroma radiating from the bag. Got home. Split. Added pickles and mustard. We plan to return, SOON!, to get the same sandwich but we are going to do double meat, extra lettuce, extra mustard, and add pickles. FUN FACT! You can order the sandwiches online/in advance! For use, we would probably, park at the store, order online, shop, pick up the sando on the way out. Get home. AND FEAST! Also! Their sandwich menu, again, for a grocery store, is better than most sandwich shops in town. Bummed I missed out of years on this gold. But moving forward, we are probably going to order a sandwich to split, or two if we are starving, each time we visit the store. We ordered an organic turkey for Thanksgiving well in advance. It stated that it would be a 9-13 pound turkey, with a set price. In the comments I noted to please provide as large a turkey as possible. The turkey we received was tender, however just slightly above 9 pounds. I highly recommend this farms market. Located in Vista near the 5 freeway and off Oceanside blvd. when you enter on the left side is the bakery and then meats department. The far back right side is all the product. They sell Julian's pie here and it's always sold out. I like coming here because they sell items that are healthy and it's kind of like a Sprouts and Whole Foods merged in one without the high prices. Staff is friendly and service is good. I've been coming to Frazier Farms Deli for over 7 years now. This place has been a staple in my weekly routine whether it's grabbing my usual meat & cheese order, picking up sandwiches for my grandkids, or just chatting with the friendly people behind the counter. The food has always been fresh, the atmosphere warm, and most of the staff truly make you feel like family. That said, I never thought I'd be writing a negative review. But after the past few visits, I feel compelled to speak up especially after quietly checking in with a few of the workers behind the counter. There's a supervisor, Ernesto, who has handled my last three visits, and unfortunately, it's been a noticeable and uncomfortable shift. He's curt, dismissive, and seems genuinely irritated by even the simplest questions or requests (like asking for pickles on the side). I thought maybe he was just having a rough day the first time, but it's clearly a pattern now. No smile, no greeting just a cold, almost hostile attitude that makes you feel like you're an inconvenience. What's even more alarming is his behavior during these shifts. On one occasion, he was slurring his words and seemed physically unsteady, like he wasn't fully there. On another visit, he was loudly making inappropriate and suggestive remarks to his coworkers while customers were right there myself included. It was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Frankly, he seemed like he might have been under the influence of something, and that's not something I say lightly. It's disheartening when a place you've loved for so long starts to feel unpredictable and unpleasant. I truly don't want to stop coming here everyone else is still wonderful but it's hard to ignore how disruptive one person can be to the entire experience. I'm leaving two stars because the food is still good and the rest of the team deserves credit. But management needs to step in. Customers notice, and more importantly, they remember. The produce is another matter with many of the items being over chilled in storage for long periods of time. Accessibility: there are some accessible parking spots in the front of the lot and a ramp to get onto the sidewalk in front. The doors to enter are motion-activated and they have regular shopping carts and baskets. The isles are wide and there are two bathrooms here in the front right side of the store, any gender, as they are single toilet bathrooms. Experience: I love Frazier Farms. They have so many holistic foods, remedies, cleaners, anything you need. I needed tampons today and got a box of 20 for under 6 dollars. I love Frazier farms! It's so healthy, they have so much fresh produce and an amazing selection of prepackaged foods. They also make their own juices, a huge variety too. Detoxifiers, am risers and more! They also have a large variety of craft beer and wine. The deli is where it's at! So many delicious foods that you wouldn't find in a normal grocery store. Also you must pick up a sandwich while you're there! Huge, fresh and delicious! I also love the area it's in, next door to a gym. So you can grab a healthy meal before or after your trip.
