I've become a regular at Frazier Farms over the past year, and it's slowly turned into my go-to spot whenever I need groceries, lunch, or just a few random things for the week. If you haven't tried the Caribbean Bean Salad yet, start there. It's so good. I usually grab a bag of tortilla chips to go with it, but it's equally good with plantain chips. Their Kale & White Bean Salad is another favorite, and I haven't had a fresh juice there that I didn't enjoy. Surprisingly, their matcha is pretty solid too. The store has a great selection overall and feels like the closest thing Oceanside has to a Whole Foods. I find myself stopping in at least once a week for meal prep ingredients, snacks, or something from the deli case. The reason I'm landing at 4 stars instead of 5 is mostly the location. There's almost always something interesting happening outside, and it's not uncommon to see police activity nearby. Also, if you order a fresh juice or hot drink, don't expect it to come out lightning fast. They definitely take their time. That said, those are pretty minor complaints. The quality of the food, produce, and prepared items keeps me coming back. All in all, it's a great neighborhood market with plenty of healthy options and some hidden gems if you're willing to explore a little. read more

What an awful experience truly. I waited over 45 minutes when quoted 25 minute wait time. Come to open up the sandwiches and they were made incorrectly. I mean for $14 sandwich's you have to do better. They had 6 orders ahead of mine and still it took 45 minutes. I use to do this kind of work and with three employees working how is that possible. Thirty minutes later and the guy behind the counter still hadn't started making the sandwich but he was sure standing around with two other coworkers speaking negatively about a different customer. I love this place. I used to shop here more often but unfortunately moved a little further away. It feels like shopping at Lazy Acres but with better deals. The fish counter guy has always been really knowledgeable and helpful. I was disappointed to learn that this store allows non-service dogs inside. Not everyone is comfortable around animals, and grocery stores should be a place where customers can shop without worrying about pets near food. I have 2 dogs myself and I love them: but I would never bring them inside a grocery store. I understand the occasional service dog, but I saw 3 dogs in the store at one time. And two more the following week. That felt excessive. For those who think this is dramatic there is a real concern for **Food contamination** Dogs can shed hair, drool, or place their noses on products, and food and cause a real issue. Not to mention they can defecate or pee in the store as well. Because of this, sadly I no longer feel comfortable shopping here. read more

I've shopped Frazier farms quite often but 2 weeks ago I had the worst experience ever. I purchased raw chicken legs that were on sale, I saw the meat clerk put them out so after he walked away I grabbed a package. I took the chicken home and the next day I opened up my refrigerator I got the worst smell coming out of the refrigerator. The chicken was rotten smelling, it made my whole kitchen stink. I looked at the sell by date and noticed that it had 4 more days till it would be out of code. I went to return the chicken back to the store. The cashier ( person in charge at the time) didn't want to hear me regarding the chicken. He told me to go the meat dept. and talk to them he didn't care and refunded my money for the chicken. I was explaining to him that this was the 3rd time I purchased chicken and it was spoiled before I could eat and also had food poisoning from the 1 time I cooked the chicken. I went to the meat dept. and told the young man the same thing he told me that he couldn't help me its not his problem and I had to come back when the meat manager was there Seriously it was like 2pm in the afternoon. I call the manager the next day and he actually accused me of trying to I get over on them for money. It wasn't like I was asking for $100 just $3 a package for the 2 packages I had to throw away. I feel that if you shop at Frazier farms check for freshness little closer because their customer service really sucks. read more

Honestly, I've absolutely had it with this place. Ridiculously overpriced half the time the produce is rotten but tonight's ordeal absolutely takes the cake. They have these "app only" deals but here's the kicker - the store has no service! so tonight I'm standing online holding up the entire line trying to get this app to show me the deal on broccoli so I don't have to pay $10 for broccoli... everyone behind me is aggravated and rightfully so! Like human beings are not stressed out enough now we have to deal with this? The cashier is just standing there... finally he gave up when he saw that I wasn't just gonna give up and pay full price and just scanned the barcode for me and I just looked at him like sir, You had the barcode this whole time and you had me here fighting with an app holding up the line pissing everyone off like, are you for real? Ordered multiple acai bowls. Each were 1/4 full with the acai blend. The rest consisted of an excessive amount of granola and good portion fruit. This is my first time I have encountered this issue. There was no line at the juice bar and it seemed slow. They were not close to closing so I'm not sure why they were so poorly assembled. The store has a variety of fresh produce, meats, and deli produce. Too bad that the Deli section is always understaffed, even on peak times. :( Customers have to wait at least 20 minutes to get their salami or cheese. Unless the Sandwich-making section that has 5 or 6 employees, the Deli section has only one person and a huge list, a Waiting List of orders. Now, I make a habit to go inside, order, then get out and walk my dog, and then come back to get my order. Most of the time even after walking my dog, my order is not done yet. read more

They don't care who you are elderly, disabled etc. they will treat you as if you are less than. When it comes to the prepared food it is just okay. The "gluten free" premade food is not always gluten free! I've gotten sick multiple times. Don't believe the false marketing to get you to buy $15 brownies . They have great deals, their produce, bakery, and bulk areas are my favorite and Normally their deli!! If it were for the deli alone, I'd give it 2 stars. It took such a long time to make 4 sandwiches, even though they appeared to be fully staffed. My bf and I split an egg salad sandwich, customized, and they didn't use the bread we requested (requested sourdough, but gave us rye). My in-laws requested two sandwiches from the menu and one Customized. The sandwiches were not labeled so they had to figure out which ones were the ones they ordered. My sister in law and mother in law started eating their sandwiches to realize they were eating each other's sandwich. My brother in law ordered the Greek goddess, which is a chicken sandwich, but apparently, Photo attached, there's a green goddess, and that's what he got instead! He was so bummed since he hates asparagus. I'm vegetarian so I ended up eating half of it. Fortunately for Frazier farms, I liked the sandwich so it did not go to waste. Ultimately, it comes down to wait time and receiving the correct order. How does a handwritten paper slip get messed up in the sandwich making? Frazier Farms has really become my favorite place to go! The best thing in my opinion is the awesome salad bar! No matter what time you go it's always fresh and fully stocked. Grab a box, fill it up and there you have it. In addition to the two kinds of lettuce, there are many veggies and fruits including garbanzo beans, celery, red papers, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, blackberries, and so much more. They have multiple cheeses, sunflower seeds, croutons and a variety of dressings. The next best thing is the fresh made daily sushi. I probably grab sushi from there for lunch a few times a week. Lots of variety including, tuna, salmon, crunchy rolls, crab and Krab and California rolls. The deli is amazing as well. Lots of fresh made pastas, potato salad, meatloaf, veggies, and so much more. You can get made to order sandwiches as well. I can't forget to mention the fresh squeezed juices and smoothies! I love being able to watch them make the drinks from scratch! Top it off with a sweet treat from the bakery section and now you've got it all. The macaroons and cheesecake are my faves. I also like the red velvet cupcakes and the fruit tart. I do like aspects of Frazier Farms. However, as of the last few years, their prices have skyrocketed and their inventory has been severely reduced. It is unfortunate that I am now splitting my grocery shopping into 3 stores so that I can save dollars. I feel their produce is one of the better options in the area for both price and quality. They have a decent deli and cheese department, and their prepared foods are acceptable, not great, but doable in a pinch. Breads and tortilla offerings are also decent. Overall, given they are a small market, they do a good job, and better than most for selective shopping. read more

Mixed feelings about this place. Friend suggested to try their acai bowls so off we went to try them. They have 3 kinds and the first time we order the superfood acai bowl, I really couldn't see the amount if the acai was there because the acai bowl was swimming in granola so granola w acai. The second time we ordered the acai bowl , I asked for less granola & this half empty container was given to me so I asked the girl that made it for us if this small amount was a standard amount & she said that yes there is between 6.4-7oz of acai meat in the bowl & she stressed out that it does get weighted.
