Horrible! They never answer the phone. I have been trying to get a case settled from an accident that happened in 2024.

Horrible insurance company! Liars and very dishonest!! There adjusters are a joke.. They don't return calls and hang up on you after you question there wrong information. So I put my truck in the shop this morning after being rear ended by a Fred Loya insurance carrier and sit around the rental car place for over three hours waiting on Fred Loya insurance to approve the rental car. Then I spend the next 45 minutes arguing with their rep from El Paso as to why they can't find a rental car since Enterprise was out of compact and intermediates, which is all they will approve. Come to find out, the difference in price they pay between an intermediate and a mid size is a whopping $2.31! So they are not attempting to make the situation right by preventing any more inconvenience over a total of less than $7 for a three day rental while my truck is being fixed? This is the most petty company I think I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Insurance companies as a whole do not impress me much to begin with, but as a company, do you think it is worth losing at least one potential customer over a review like this? You get what you pay for. If you are considering purchasing insurance from this company, just think about how they would treat you if YOU hit somebody instead of the guy in my shoes. I actually feel bad for the guy who hit me for having to put up with these cheapskates. This company is not only cheap, but very slow when you have a claim, then severely low balls the first damage estimate, and then tries to nickle and dime you so they can save pennies. For those keeping count, that is 7 Jr. bacon cheeseburgers for 3 hours of my time (not including the phone and accident time), which I charge over $25 per hour for. I think Fred Loya has a penchant for the dollar menu with policies like this. I ended up paying for the extra 7 five piece spicy chicken nuggets so my injured back (disabled veteran, which they were aware of when the rental car discussion came up) was not aggravated getting in and out of a small vehicle (I am also 6'2", 245lbs and cannot feel half of my right leg from above injury). Nice Fred Loya! Way to stick it to the disabled military veteran by not footing 7 crispy chicken sandwiches and making him wait over 3 hours just so he can get back home. That is what I call world class service for a veteran on the day after Veteran's Day. You are a really classy company. read more

Horrible customer service. No one knows anything and when you call your agent it doesn't answer there it bounces throughout the entire offices and then the answer is I don't know. Won't give you discount if you don't set up auto pay. Honestly a bunch of clueless idiots that aren't trained and take advantage of the non English speaking to profit and keep open. So I called Loya after somebody referred me to them, first of all it was 3:00pm on a Saturday in IL their rep by the name of Jessica R. pretty much asked as for the color of our nail polish thats me putting it nicely stating that it was part of process. its 4:30 and their office in Cicero IL closes at 4 pm. after jumping through several hoops and being given 3 different quotes all of them having changed based on the fact that some of the drivers didn't have 13 mths being insured, cars excluded as we were going to begin the acceptance of their final quote we got disconnected not sure if she hung up or what when i called back immediately no answer, the salesman working with us on the purchase of the car emailed her and faxed her that we were trying to reach her, for her to contact us and nothing then we called again, and connected with JOANNA at corporate who tried to reach her and to no success. THAT SHOULD"VE BEEN THE SIGN BUT NO..... So now we are talking to JOANNA@ corporate who requests all the same things we send everything then she starts with we need all residents in the home and their bdates , bill of sales which we had sent , as well as copies of drivers license for both drivers, First Joanna says that her manager is not accepting the handwritten bill of sales, then the salesman sends a typed one to which Joanna says "my manager says that's not a bill of sales, as I proceed to tell her you are in the state of Texas and this is a bill of sales in the state of Illinois she goes back to the manager who at this point I think is a complete IDIOT, comes back and says okay but can you send a copy of the bottom half at which point I explain that is the complete bill of sales and Joanna says we need the part where you sign I then explain the x and dotted line is where you sign. after she looks at the document with all the residents I proceed to tell her we want 3 people excluded because and she says everyone in the house needs to be included licensed or unlicensed. I tell her that I have had insurance and have asked for people to be excluded basically exclusion is listed as such and am told I absolve insurance co. of liability for those excluded. Joanna then says well to exclude we must quote you a different program! Finally get the last quote before i give my card number to start the policy. I ask "if I decide to cancel on Monday will I lose all my down payment or will I get some of it back?" She then asks would I be cancelling on Monday? I said "Im not sure" She says I can no longer process this request. When I asked why? She said my manager said not to process because we expect you to keep the policy for 6mths. I said I never I wasn't going to keep it . I asked a question. I then told her I was under the impression that my right to information was provided by the constitution and I was unaware that Texas had successfully seceded itself from the US. and that I could be denied service based on an information request? I asked for a letter on company letterhead that guaranteed me that all my info would be deleted from computers and shredded such as SS and other info. Joanna stated that her Manager promised to do so I asked for an email as well as a mailed copy. NOTHING YET! THEY HAVE THE MOST HORRIBLE AND IGNORANT PEOPLE I'VE SPOKEN WITH TO DATE! WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE TO ANYONE.! IT WAS IMPORTANT TO EDIT THIS AND THANK JESSICA R. IN THE CICERO OFFICE AND JOANNA AND HER RIDICULOUS MANAGER FOR DENYING ME THEIR INSURANCE BECAUSE BASED ON THE REVIEWS I'VE READ IM ECCSTATIC THAT I DONT HAVE FRED LOYA INSURANCE. read more
