They tried to increase my rate from 190 to 680 because they assumed someone who was living with me was driving my car and set that as the new rate without even consulting me first! Their offices throughout the valley are scarce and help on the phone is impossible because they always ask you to come in person even if it's their mistake! Let me just start by saying stay far away from Fred Loya insurance as possible, but definitely stay away from this location specifically. AYNELIS AVILA who is bold enough to call herself the manager is the laziest, most unprofessional lady I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This lady will see a line of customers building up in the office and choose that exact moment to walk to the back and take her lunch. It's been countless times I have gone in to make a simple payment and have had to wait for the only other employee to finish setting up a new policy or something else that takes a long time. Next, she will give you misinformation, basically just telling you whatever will get you off of the phone or out of the office so she can get back to doing absolutely nothing to help her customers. She will tell you your payment will be deducted at midnight, even though she has no clue what she's talking about, so your policy can get canceled. What a great "manager" I went to another office and they said they don't know why she would tell me that. Next, if you are several months pregnant and sick, and have someone move your vehicle to the gas station next door so you can not throw up in front of the office, she will put a suspense on your policy and try to force you to add said person to your policy even though you fully explained it was a misunderstanding. I have been with Fred Loya for a year but they just lost my business, due to a weird and unprofessional manager, who will try to sabotage your policy if you try to tell her about how she manages the office. I'm actually happy to never have to deal with this company or lady ever again I started a new policy that is actually lower so it worked out. Thank you so much AYNELIS AVILA who will claim to not be able to give you information about your own policy, but other offices and managers gave me the information easily. This lady quite literally drives away loyal customers. She actively tries to cause problems for her customers if she doesn't like you. She needs to take notes from VICTOR on how to treat customers. He is a way better employee than her and should be the Manager instead. Do not start a policy with this office as they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS, and will purposely try to cause stress to a pregnant woman. Save yourself the headache and try freeway. read more

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. If you happen to file a claim, you will get screwed in every way!!! They do not have their own local field adjustor and you will be expected to take photos of your car(what am I paying them for). They make numerous, idiotic mistakes and then just say 'oh sorry we're short staffed,' thank you Clarissa Hernandez(Fire & Theft Claim ONLY, she made it a point to constantly tell me how she couldn't help me with anything because it wasn't her department; zero desire to help a paying customer). She was probably the worst staff member I had to engage with for this 2 month nightmare auto theft claim. She sent me to incorrect FedEx locations, she input incorrect addresses for my time sensitive documents, she ignored my emails and voicemails, she gave me incorrect information more than 3x. I begged and pleaded for updates and contact #s from more than 10 employees in this company. If you need a rental car over 30 days, you're screwed and they will again just tell you 'oh sorry not my problem.' You will also pay out of pocket for your rental car, because they only cover up to $30 a day. I was ripped off for the car storage fees as well and received less of a settlement check (due to Loya's numerous mistakes, I suffered) Sign up with Geico!!!! This is the worst auto-low-budget insurance company I have ever dealt with. After my policy was canceled, they decided to make a payment. I have since made the switch to a much better, more dependable insurance provider. When I contacted the store, I was informed that I had not canceled my insurance and that I would need to show up in person to prove it before they would cancel it, saying that this could not be legal. Additionally, after the company stopped accepting payments altogether and reappeared unnoticed, taking money could not be legal either after not paying for a month. payment due dates where 03/04 with a grace period up to 03/14 to make a payment no payment was mad for the whole entire mouth of March I switched to another auto carries 03/0724 after 03/14/24 my policy is terminated with Loya . I make my way to one of the locations. I walk in on a very uncomfortable site with the associate and another customer, flirting in a sexual atmosphere" and exchanging personal information." As I am just standing there, she asks if I am there to make a payment, not "Hello, give me a moment" or "Please take a seat, just make a payment.". I had to wait for this encounter to be done before I could be assisted. I advised the woman associate that I was there to cancel my policy and be refunded for the days I did not use their insurance. After providing all my new information, I was told to sign a cancellation form, and I would be issued a check. That was it. I stayed there, waiting for some type of documentation that had cancelled my policy, and I checked that there would be some supporting documentation for the DMV of cancellation. She told me that there is nothing that I would receive and that there is no documentation she would or could provide me. She stated that the documents I signed were for internal use only. I cannot have a copy of the legal documents; I just signed my name on them. There is no way this can be legal. After fighting with and requesting a manager, she advised me, and I quoted, "I don't normally do this, but I will give you a copy today of the same legal form that I was told was only for internal use. Her words, not mine. work at a dealership for years . I don't turst or take any company word for anything; I could easily call back to say that and be advised that my policy was not canceled or that there is no check in the system to be issued to me, and what if another payment comes out of my account? There is no proof that I would have to protect myself. At the end of the day, I chose this low-budget insurance, and I came to terms with that, which is why I left, and none of there business of my new provider nor the rates and better converges I am now being offered. They make it so hard to make changes or to even switch insurance. They're quick to add somebody that doesn't even live with you. Sty away . I am writing this to warn others so what happened to me doesn't happen to someone else. I have been with this company approximately 4 years. Never been late once, and pay three months at a time. Called and paid in January and it was due at the end of this month. Called yesterday to pay for another 3 months only to discover that I had no insurance. They said they had tried to call me. That is a lie. No phone call, no letter, no email, no text, nothing. So I have been driving around with no insurance and did not know it. My brother lives with me but doesn't drive so they said because he lives with me I have to add him to my insurance even though he doesn't drive me car. I also used to drive Uber but not anymore. This review is not just for this location but ALL of Fred Loya. If I could I would give them 0 stars! Stay Away!!!Fred Loya is one of the worst insurance companies I have had to work with. I am in the insurance industry and have worked with a lot of insurance companies over my career. My experience with them was that I was involved in an accident where I had video proof their insured was completely at fault. They accepted liability for my claim and all seemed to go well at first. After about two weeks we finaly set up an in person inspection. Initially they wanted to send an inspector to where I worked, but it is a difficult area to get into so that would not work. I would have done this sooner if they had given me the option. After the inspection was complete is when the problems began.They tried to jack me around when it came to the repair of my car. At first I had tried to go directly through them for the repair to my car, I had to drive to one of their appraisers who then sent the paperwork into the desk adjuster. I had attempted to contact the desk adjuster about the damage to my car with NO return calls and my property adjustor was never available by phone. My car was inspected on a Saturday and I was told I would hear from the adjuster in 24-48 hours. On Monday, no call, On tuesday I called them and they said they said my adjuster was still reviewing, on Wednesday no call, on Thursday no call, so I called them and still not being able to speak with my adjuster the rep told me " oh we mailed you out a check yesterday! I also asked " what a bout the rental- Oh, we are still deciding on that". What is the amount of the check? The amount was far below my appraisal. I was furious. I know that they low ball the repair shops and then the repair shops will call them for supplemental items and reach an agreed price but I was furious that I was not contacted by my adjuster prior to a check being issued.I had enough of Fred Loya!!! . I returned their check and I went through my own insurance company (Geico). My Insurance company handled very fast all I had to do with them was take photos off my phone and upload them to the adjuster. Within a few hours I heard back from my adjuster on the amount (which was closer to my estimate) and that they automatically set up a direct bill rental car for me. they gave me a confirmation number to set up the rental pickup, etc. I then contacted the shop and made arrangements to bring the car in. They issued payment directly to the shop and they also mailed me a check for my deductible since it was the other parties fault. So I had no out of pocket expense when my car was ready to be picked up. Geico went above and beyond and handled claims as an insurance company should. My advice to anyone involved with a Fred Loya insured is to hire an attorney and go through your own insurance company. They do NOT know how to handle claims. And if you are considering Fred Loya for insurance-don't they are cheap for a reason. Go to a real insurance company. read more

I Have been with this company for YEARS and their customer service USE to be great but now It is so hit and miss. Over the phone I get half the information and rushed services. I SPOKE TO A MANAGER named RUBY who was beyond unprofessional and absolutely no help. Her employee made a mistake that caused me to pay an extra month for a car that I have not had. When I asked her to investigate she said that there was no need and that I will have to pay the full amount and only this month's payment would be reimbursed. I asked to speak with who was over her and she gave me a corporate number that doesn't work, and acted like it was difficult to give me an address (which at this point is probably a McDonald's in the middle of nowhere). I feel so robbed and taken advantage of. She purposely hung up in my face. I had to call back 2 additional times because she had some man hang up on me as well. Absolutely horrible insurance . I was hit from someone from the back that has this insurance and this insurance claims that it was still my fault even if all the evidence points to the other girl. They claim that the girl did everything she could to avoid the crash so that is why they are saying it is indeed my fault . The girl was talking on the phone and when I told the representative that she said there is no evidence of it but yet they don't have evidence of it being my fault . The other claims she beeped at me to warn me which she never once beeped she was just going to fast and switched lanes at the same time I did and didn't have enough time to break . So let me start off by saying how disappointed I am.. I have been with this insurance for over 4-5 years now.. never has an issue till now. I took one of my 3 cars off the ins so my payment was going to be of 180 a month or so for the remainder cars I have insured.. well when I saw them trying to take a total of 265 out I called they gave me bullshit, said they'd look into it and will call me back so they did which let me say the one person who deserves to be given a raise GLADICE. She is amazing with what she does. She kept in contant with me throughout and I know it's not her fault. Last call I received they told me things were fixed and my payment was going to be of $99.00 for this month becuz I was credited the money from the car I had taken off. the company is trash and are always given wrong information. If you pay for this insurance, you should definitely go elsewhere. When a driver ran through a stop sign and totaled my car, the driver repeatedly expressed her concern about how much her insurance will go up being with Fred Loya. If you have been hit by a driver with this insurance, I feel even worse for you. My situation was so cut and dry (with a witness!!) that the officers on the scene didn't feel it necessary to see a video of the driver admitting her fault. However it has been a month and Fred Loya insurance has done absolutely nothing to help me. Instead they have informed me that they run their own independent "investigations" despite what the police officers, witness, and professionals that deemed my car a loss said. Instead of any type of sympathy after their driver hit me on my side and deployed all airbags, they have harassed me with questions and tried to re-frame questions differently attempting to get answers that they want because every conversation is recorded for them to use against you if they can. My rental car has been paid for out of pocket through this entire process because they play the run-around game. When searching for a place to take my car, many auto shops refused to work with Fred Loya insurance...that right there should tell you plenty. BUT IT GETS WORSE!! After being sick of working with these scam artists, I let my insurance take control of the situation. I gave explicit instructions to Matthew Jennings from Fred Loya that they could not touch my car. The NEXT day they STOLE my car with clear instructions that they absolutely could not take it (Service King also had instructions not to give it to them but I had the misfortune of working with more idiots there). Matthew Jennings wasn't high enough rank to release the car (but seemingly had enough authority to have it taken. Interesting) and his boss gave us the run-around in returning my car. My car which my insurance needs so that I can get a new car since their client destroyed mine. So if you are in a predicament like mine, I advise you to do your research in choosing where your car is taken (somewhere that uses REAL parts and not cheap parts). Call them frequently for updates or they will drag this process out as long as they can. For less of a headache and if you can, use your insurance to get the ball rolling and let them go after Fred Loya insurance or get an attorney. Hell, I recommend even recording conversations you have with them. This is a selfish, despicable company and they will show zero remorse. Fred Loya insurance....you f****** suck. read more
