So, I stopped in at Fred Meyers in Snohomish yesterday. Here's my review... I was INUNDATED with...wait for it...nice and helpful employees. Yep. Okay, I admit, this is not exactly breaking news for those of us who shop here on a regular basis but that doesn't mean it doesn't need to be noticed. For example, let's talk about Kathy at the seafood and meat counter. There was this lovely customer in one of the little motorized shopping carts who needed assistance and Kathy was incredibly kind and helpful. I know, I know, that's her job, but she did it with a smile and a lot of patience. How cool is that? She also made sure to acknowledge me, and other customers as they approached, to make sure we knew she saw us. Like they say, it is the littlest things that are so appreciated. My checker, May, was a sweetheart; helpful, friendly and super-efficient. We got through almost the entire order, and I realized I had forgotten my ID in my truck (apparently 60-ish is the new 21 Hahahaha but having owned a C-Store I have no problem with following a protocol that can be quite expensive if not followed). She could not have been more understanding, pausing my order as I dashed outside to fetch it. No rolling of eyes, no judgement, just a "customer-first/no problem" attitude. And, as I was heading out with my wildly full cart, I couldn't help but notice this gal (I found out her name was "Bella" from Elly, another delightful employee at customer service) who was happily dashing between checkout stands helping bag groceries wherever she was needed. It goes without saying (but it shouldn't) that their produce is fantastic. Their fresh flowers are gorgeous. The Copper River salmon I bought from Kathy was incredible...I could go on and on. Oh, and the lavender plants they had out front for $8.99 a piece? WOW! YAY! I know I can forget how much work it takes to make a big store like Fred Meyers run well. I also believe it is proof positive of great management within that store when it does. Employees who trust in their bosses work harder. It's just human nature. We are blessed to have this particular store in our town. Go there, you will agree. read more

Fred Meyer used to be my favorite store, but since Kroger took over, it keeps going downhill. From what I've noticed in the last year, I would say that a large percentage of the staff doesn't like people and/or have no idea what appropriate behavior and conversation is in a workplace. I often see workers standing around and visiting with each other while they don't work and ignore customers. Yesterday as I shopped, I passed by two young male workers standing around visiting and loudly talking in an aisle about some other individual being drunk, while using terms to describe the scenario that included the F and S words. Then (as has been the case the last several times I have shopped here), the checker and bagger didn't even acknowledge me as my order was rung up. This particular duo was too busy discussing the appeal of getting drunk and what their drink of choice would be. Fred Meyer, train your employees on what customer service is and what is and isn't appropriate conversation at work. Please hire people who don't treat your customers like they are invisible or an annoyance and inconvenience. I don't want to hear locker room talk from your staff when I am shopping. As it stands, I am tired of the deterioration of this store and the "who cares" attitude from most of the staff. After yesterday I decided that I will shop here only if absolutely necessary because some other store doesn't carry what I am looking for. You could do so much better running this store, but it seems that you don't even try. P.S. Those annoying security check announcements made periodically over the PA system also add to the ambiance of a deteriorating low quality cheapo bargain basement store. You do an excellent job of making shoppers feel unwelcome and that they're an annoyance. read more

Great store! I've been a regular customer here since it was built many many years ago. Never had a bad interaction with the workers, always had great help and availability around the store. Workers always have a good attitude and great willingness to help, and always exchange a kind smile around the store. I love this place! read more

On December 29 2025 I went grocery shopping at the Fred Meyers in Snohomish Washington like I have been doing since they open in 2008. I didn`t have a lot of items and saw that the self check out by customer service was open and no customers were using it so when I walked in I saw that the older lady that was working the self check was reading the newspaper. I politely asked her if she could help me check my items because I wasn`t to sure how everything works. This was around 10 - 10:30 am. To my surprise I got a attitude from her. She said that I should go to the check out isle. That is no way to talk to customers especially a loyal customer of 17 years. Unfortunately I didn`t get her name but Im sure they can look at their records and find out who this rude employee is. Fred Meyer needs to step up on this one. read more

This will always be the best fred meyers around. The store is very clean, spacious, very nice staff, everything is stocked nicely and normal things are not locked up. I can easily find what I need and checkout with no problems. The parking lot is clean and I can always find a good parking spot. read more

A good grocery store with reasonable prices and broad selection of groceries. Fresh vegetables are usually good quality and competitive prices. For other home needs there is wide selection of clothing, light hardware and other household goods. read more

I always shop here. I just think it is getting harder to stand in line to pay. They need more employees at the Register. Yes it is hard to fine good people that wants to work for peanut theses days. We really like our Snohomish Fred Meyer and would normally give it five stars. However, we now only go there when we have to for one reason: their lack of enforcement of customers who do not wear their mask, or just as bad, pull it below their nose. Yes, they frequently have an employee at the front door who makes sure people have a mask before they enter, but their is apparently no enforcement once people are inside. At our last four visits, there were at least two or more people with their masks pulled below their nose, and at least one person not wearing a mask at all. it seems they are doing this after they enter the store and the employees ignore it. I saw one woman with no mask on at all walking down the main aisle by the check outs and not one of the several employees out there stopped her. Compare this to the Woodinville Costco. Last time we were there we saw a woman walking around with the mask pulled below her nose. Then, a Costco employee walked by and told her to pull it below her nose or she would have to leave the store. What a difference! We'll continue to shop elsewhere until either the pandemic is over or Fred Meyer decides to enforce safety rules. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy. I have had great, 5 star experiences at the store. I scheduled an appoint for my 3 year old for a flu shot, giving her correct birth date, showing she was three. Once I arrived they told me that they only give shots to kids over seven. They had no explanation for why they would schedule the appointment if they wouldn't give the vaccine. read more

I love Fred Meyers. I think all the locations are wonderful for "one stop shopping" I think the customer service is great, the employees are helpful and knowledgeable and put customers first as they should. The staff in the electronics center are superb. ***My only complaint would be their indoor plant section is highly lacking lately (like the past 6 months!!) I always like to get a houseplant when I go shopping and they just don't have hardly anything available anymore. I go several times a week and check the section weekly and it's been a disappointment every time lately, they have "some" small potted stuff but the area is practically bare and they don't have the hanging plants they used to always offer. It's weird because it's an area right inside a main entrance so it's definitely not being utilized well read more

This is about the pharmacy. The staff are inept. They never have refills ready when I get a text that says it is ready. Every time I use the drive thru it's at least a half hour, not just waiting for others, but for the person "helping" me. I constantly see a couple of techs just standing around in the back when the line is out into the store. They've refilled the wrong prescription quantity and blamed me for it and said I would have to call my doctor to have it sorted out. I've been told they didn't have a medication in stock but they did, the tech was just a lazy idiot and didn't even check. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever used. I usually have good luck with Kroger stores but not here. Fill your prescription literally anywhere else if you want it correct and in a timely manner. I would love to submit a complaint to CMS and the state. They need to be audited and shut down. read more

I love Fred Meyer for so many reasons....prices, selection, one-stop shopping including gas! Perfect! Well this location specifically is even better as there is a Kohl's, pet store, Home Depot and loads of shops and restaurants. This particular store deserves some extra love as they are undergoing a big remodel and will be for 2 more months I think is what I heard earlier today. I'm loving that the aisles are wider....usually store remodels shrink aisles. One competitor near my old house shrunk the aisles so much that if there are any in-aisle displays, you can't get 2 carts down! Ick!!!! I keep seeing and hearing people complaining about the remodel and how they can't find anything. Perhaps it's because I used to work in a grocery store...perhaps it's because I love wandering around grocery stores....regardless of the reason, I'm not having any issues finding items nor has my shopping time increased! Signage is clear and there are so many employees on the floor throughout the day it's not hard to find someone to ask. Heck I've found myself helping customers! Whatever works! Employees here are friendly (even when they shouldn't be....today I witnessed a grumpy older man swearing under his breath then loudly and obnoxiously yelling "Boy....BOY...YOU! WHERE'S THE BACON?" and "boy" actually answered saying "By the eggs. Let me show you" to which grumpy old man replied "where they shouldn't be. That makes no sense"...really? bacon and eggs don't make sense? In my world they totally do!) Take the time to thank the employees here...they get a lot of complaints from customers that aren't necessary and really don't accomplish much. They are doing the best they can with a corporate decision and keeping their smiles on their faces even when it's hard. read more

I think the Fred Meyer is overall a good store to shop in. Snohomish did need another store to shop at. Haagen and Safeway are ok but I prefer Fred Meyer because of the 1 stop shopping. The customer service is also good I believe. I would recommend Fred Meyer to anyone new moving into the area. read more

This is a great place for snohomish, no driving out of town. WARNING!!!WARNING!!! Park in a spot that your car is safe. The parking lot is filled with stray carts that people are too lazy to drive back. This resulted in me having a passenger door with a huge dent and 500$ in repair. read more

I have had many positive experiences at this store but I want to give special credit to the bakery. I ordered a birthday cake here when my original place was closed. I was expecting your average grocery store cake quality with one frosting option- buttercream (yuck!) They far exceeded my expectations and I may never go back to my old place. Their cake was amazingly delicious and I got so many people asking where I got it. They have a ton of filling options which I'm sure all make for a tasty cake but the barvarian cream is to die for. I will find the address, this I vow! So, I have a little love affair with the store named Fred Meyers! Why, he just gives me all that I need! If I require clothing then I like Fred Meyers. If I need sustanence, like meat, broccoli, oranges I can go to Fred Meyers. If I need shoes, Fred Meyers. If I need drugs, Fred Meyers. If I need musical inspiration, Fred Meyers. Or if I need to see the latest flick, Fred Meyers. If I need hair gloss , condoms, frozen pizza, whipped cream, batteries, cat litter, fresh fish, milk, and candy can all be gotten at Fred Meyer's!! Am I the only genius out there, pleased and grateful for one stop shopping!! The brand new Fred Meyers in Snohomish, is very similar to all the others!! Actually the clothing in this store is the the left, instead of the right. So it's actually more similar to the Monroe store. But I like it, and all the people that I've met there thus far, have very nice! THE BEST PART OF THIS FRED MEYER'S IS THE BAKERY! I stop her about 2 time a week, to get their Gourmet Caramel Apples. The regular ones are $2.99 and the Deluxe are $3.99! The deluxe are generally dipped in hazelnut or macadamia nuts! FANTASMICALLY DELICIOUS!! And probably ALOT more healthy than a candy bar!! read more

Best store on the entire earth! Everyone in here is amazing! The prices are pretty good, the groceries are high quality,and the selection is vast. This Fred Meyer store has become my Sunday place to shop. Every Sunday, now I drive to this location and either just go shop or shop and buy gasoline. I LOVE their clothes section!!!! The clothes are well made and the prices are reasonable. We love the hot chicken. Our favourite is the lemon-pepper chicken. The fruits and vegetables in the produce section always look fresh. And, they have a GREAT book section. All in all, shopping here is a wonderful experience. The clerks are all very nice and helpful, too. Forgot to mention that their prices are good, too. read more

I never knew what a Fred Mayer even was. Just moved here last week and decided to check it out. My life was forever changed! It's like a walmart but a million times better. Plus the last time I went there I accidentally left my wallet in my shopping cart. A really nice, expensive coach wallet mind you. I got home and realized I left it and called to see if one of the employees could go look for it and hold onto it for me and all I said was "hi I lost my wallet and I was wondering..." Before the guy said "we already found it and it's at customer service waiting for you" I was so relieved. I got my wallet back and not a thing was missing!! read more

I've shopped here regularly since this store opened and have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the experience. I come here at least once a week and know a lot of the employees. All are helpful and knowledgeable. The food prices here are consistently the best around and they have great sales. The natural food section is GREAT! THe produce is almost always in excellent condition and with wide variety. You can find everything you need here. The aisles are wide and mostly uncluttered. It doesn't feel dingy or miserable, like some other grocery options in the area. The gas is the lowest price in the area. When you earn 100 points by shopping in the store, you get a.10 discount on gas. Fred Meyer's reward card program is nice in that you don't get any special price by using the card, but you do earn points and get store rebates (like $5-10-20 off anything in the store) and generous coupons every 3 months. The coupons are for useful things too, like veggies, meats, breads, and clothing. Items you actually need and would buy. OH! The best thing about this store? Free child care. That's right. They'll watch your little munchkins (age 2+) for an hour for free. This perk alone would have me shopping here even if everything else was not so great. read more

I sometimes drive up here from Seattle when my mom is wanting a visit and shop here. I come here because of the very extensive gluten free section. Soy free dairy free options as well. It can't be rival by the Ballard Fred Meyer. Great prices. Awesome service. One of the ladies from seafood is so helpful. I just wish their produce were better. read more

My wife takes a medication she can't be without. We are leaving on vacation tomorrow and started trying to get this filled yesterday. The doctor took forever but the pharmacist was extremely rude. My wife personally dropped off the prescription and was told it would be available in 45 minutes. She waited and after 45 minutes went to the window and was told she couldn't have until tomorrow. Really? We told them we are leaving tomorrow morning before they open. The pharmacist then makes a note that she picked it up early as if she is some sort of drug addict. Starbucks conveniently located right inside the grocery entrance (a little limited in seating) but the deli seating makes up for it. This is the perfect place to shop for basically anything one might need. Food, furniture, clothes, a quick on-the-go-lunch, even an inflatable boat. My family probably spends more on groceries or any other need than anywhere else, because this store really has it all, including a little Starbucks so you can get a latte while you shop. The people who work here are always very friendly and helpful and check you out quickly. And if you sign of for a membership, it'll give you a certain number of cents off your gas from your shopping trips. Getting gas here is also a pleasant experience, the people who help you out are also always sweet. The only thing I don't like is the music. They literally play the most annoying music at this location, it's super loud, and basically everyone I've talked to has said the same thing so I know it's not just me. I have to change my review from 4 stars down to 1 based solely on the fact that this store has become a dog park. For some reason (maybe proximity to Bridge's?) people think it's okay to take their dog here and management allows it. I don't have any interest in tripping over leashes while I'm shopping for groceries, or buying groceries that have been molested by someone's dog. Needless to say, I no longer shop here. EDIT 04.19.18 I have completely stopped shopping here due to their anti 2nd Amendment BS & their removal of guns & ammo. Down to 1 star for you. Skip the pharmacy at all costs too, they never get my order correct. Every single time I leave a detailed message advising them I will be paying cash for a 90 day supply, DO NOT PUT IT THROUGH MY INSURANCE because they will only pay a 30 day supply or I have to do mail order which I refuse. I then proceed to advise them that they screw it up every time so please get it correct this time around. Guess what....Every damn time I get there, they only filled 30 days then tell me it's because my insurance will only pay for 30. Well no **** Dick Tracy! That's what I freakin' told you. I hate this pharmacy soooooo much. EDIT: 05.03.18 I didn't want to drive to Costco pharmacy, so I decided to give Snohomish Fred Meyer one more shot. I called, spoke to a pharmacy tech, explained that every effing time I go there, I tell the pharmacy clerk that I want a 90 day supply that I will pay cash for, and do not under any circumstance bill my insurance. She said they could do that. I told her I'm told that almost every time, and every time you still eff it up. She said she understood. Well guess what, I just went to Fred Meyer to pick up my prescription, and they gave me a g.d. 30 day supply once again & billed my insurance. I have never dealt with a more incompetent pharmacy in my life. I've also been told 3 times over the years when I complained that they would notate my account with my preference, but nope....no one reads notes. Keep this in mind if you're taking a life or death medication. They just don't care, and are incapable of getting anything correct. I'm effing done with this crappy pharmacy. read more

It may be weird to review a chain grocery store, but Fred Meyer is just pretty much as awesome as a standard grocery store can get. It's inexpensive, it's expansive, it's the only place you can go in Snohomish to get this variety of stuff. Plus their gas is super cheap. I do wish that they'd put their natural/organic products in with the rest of the selection as having a separate section makes it hard to compare prices and find what you are looking for. But really, tons of options, way cheaper than Top Foods, and the benefit of also having clothes, and household products in the same place. read more

Great one stop shopping. We shop here frequently and get our prescriptions filled here too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. We have used the deli for large party planning and it has been an easy process with excellent choices in food. I would give this 5 stars if not for all the dogs in carts and around the store. It seems that there could be an easy solution to this, like having carts with rubber pads or some other barrier option. We own dogs and love them, but having dogs in carts where food is supposed to go is not sanitary. Please fix this! read more

Love the store, I shop all the time. Pharmacy is awful!!! If you call ahead hours for a refill it is never filled, the pharmacy staff is so rude and no matter what time you come in there is always at least a 20 minute line. Not professional at all and no compassion. I will pick up my Rx and then 3 hours later get a phone call that it is ready to pick up. Not to mention it is far more expensive than any other pharmacy in town. The store as a whole is more expensive. If you use coupons or look for deals it can be low priced but on average it is more expensive than most stores I shop at. Really like the conveince though, fruit selection is not great or fresh- especially for the price!! read more

Do not take your film there to be processed ! We took a roll of film with vacation pictures on it to be processed because we did not wish to take the film through the airport screening machines.These people destroyed our film ! They do not know how to use their own machinery it seems.They managed to print a few blurry and stained pictures and their attitude was that we should have felt grateful for this ! So our vacation pictures were ruined and they gave us attitude.My attempts to reach management about this have not been successful.I didn't go to customer service that day because the line was sooo long.I guess nobody likes shopping there. read more
