Looks pretty clear to me that an additional 50% should have been given on an advent calendar.

I have always loved this store and frequent it often. Tonight was a different story. I was gathering up some holiday clearance items and a couple had intermediate markdowns. The signage throughout the store read "save an additional 50% on holiday clearance". In the past this has meant save an additional 50%. This evening Jacie removed the clearance sticker on the advent calender and told me the markdown was on the original price not the marked down price regardless of what the signage said in the store. I asked to speak with a store manager as I felt it was false advertising and was told that Jacie was the manager. Wow, what poor service tonight.

My retro fan on my messy desk.

I've always loved shopping both online and in person at Zara…read more But now they really have a customer for life! I purchased a few items at the Alderwood Mall Lynnwood Store on 4/6/24 and paid with a gift card I had received. Was chatting with the gal behind the counter about the weather we were having. Left store and got home and my gift card was missing. I know it still had a balance, and was bummed that I didn't get it back. I totally figured that probably someone else would use it and thought it was lost. I decided to go to the mall on 5/2/24 and checked with a few ladies behind the counter and they referred me to the manager on duty. I had my original receipt with the gift card used and its remaining balance on it. She left the counter and went in the back, and several minutes later came back with my gift card! I was so pleasantly shocked! I was impressed that there were honest employees working there! Thank you so much, it wasn't the balance amount, but the fact that I received it back! This speaks volumes about management and training and customer service and satisfaction! You are all the best!!

What happened to Zara? This would be an in depth thesis question!…read more I used to shop in Europe and Zara was the IT clothing spot for fancy, classy, and timeless staples. Made in Italy, Spain and Portugal the clothing was well tailored and fit a 32/30 general male physique. When Zara opened in Vancouver it was more boutique like and slightly pricier and the quality was good. This was before COS and other European brands making their way to the States. I shopped at Zara during the latter half of 2010 - 2018 quite regularly and the website was eye catching, the blazers on sale were $39, and the quality was good. You could still find made in Europe clothing and the production seemed to transition to Bangladesh, Vietnam and other countries. As of late, the quality before pandemic is garbage. The clothing unravels after hanging it in a rack, the fabric is cheap, and the material appears to be of the lowest quality. The Westlake and Bellevue locations appear like outlets with rejected clothing from 5 seasons ago and little change with new or updated fashion. It's like a European Ross evoking a European douche bag at the club with skinny jeans, frayed pants, Zara shirt and cologne. Staff are still pretty snooty and don't often help. Maybe one staff will but it's rare. They seem too busy folding clothing that isn't selling. Really sad.

Love this place! The commercials are right on about the prices and the selections you can find :)…read more Coming here can be a bit dangerous, especially if you're only planning to find one thing you'll walk out of the store with a bag full of... goodies. For those who want to avoid the long line during hectic shopping hours, I would go during a weekday and in the morning.

I was in this location Monday and witnessed the most horrific, embarassing display of non-customer…read moreservice. I came on here to see if the poor woman involved left a review regarding how she was treated, but unfortunately I dont see she has. The fellow customers in line in front and behind me were also appalled at the way the manager and her friend, a cashier, treated this poor woman. I wont say too much, I will let the victim tell her story if she chooses, I can only give my perception. But if corporate ever checks these reviews, please know that manager on Monday, June 15th and the cashier who speaks the same language (European) were treating a well dressed, well spoken, well kept, kind, patient, honest customer with such judgement, dirty looks, and spoke in their language, more than obviously about her, for more than 15 minutes in front of her. Also proceeded to speak badly of her AFTER she left the store, in front of the rest of us customers. The group of us heard the issue the customer had, she explained it to the manager and we all witnessed the play out because there was only 1 other cashier so the line began to build when the manager came up to address the situation which had a very simple resolution. But this manager decided to make things an issue, when there wasnt one, ridicule this customer per item and reject helping her. If I was that customer, I would have walked out immediately after being treated the way they discounted and degraded her. Im still shocked over a day later and its weighed so heavy on my heart how embarrassing it must have been for that customer. I am infuriated the manager is allowed to have a personal relationship so close with her cashiers that they speak of customers IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE in front of the customer, while giving her demeaning glances and looks as though she was beneath the worst of the unhoused and addiction driven thieves that plaque the stores now a days. Im never returning to this location and the other customers who were also disgusted by the behavior made similiar comments of "we like the Shoreline location better anyway. This is just wrong! Is she really doing this to her when there is a line this long?" So it sounds like a few customers will be going elsewhere. The manager truly made a huge issue out of nothing. Upper management, retrain your managers to not be so disrespectful, to not speak in gossiping fashion in other languages in front of customers and not treat every situation as a scam or fraud. That poor woman didnt deserve that treatment. Shame on you! Remember, the universe delivers back to you what you put out!
