They gave me and another family the wrong orders only to be discovered after I got home. When I went back, so did the other family. The manager tried to give me the food that they took home. The resturant resembles Germany in 1945. Food all over the floor, and generally a disaster. Meanwhile there are 2 people cooking, one working the drive through window...and 3 kids standing around. My second time at Freddy's a different location and I still was very stratified with the food. I had the Jalapeno Pepper Jack double hamburger combo again. This time with onion rings. A 20-cent increase in price for onion rings. My husband had a Freddy Original double with tater tots. The burgers seemed to be larger this time not sure why. This not a complaint just an observation. The burgers were hot made to order. Rings and tots as will were also hot. Great burgers with good flavor. The smashed hamburger patty with crispy edges is a great touch. OK, let me start with their chocolate custard is the best chocolate anywhere! And for that matter, all of their food is of a high-quality. Love their shoestring, french fries, especially when they're cooked extra crispy. I also love their chili dogs! However, the food here are not what I would call a good value. I personally feel they're overpriced for what you get. However, they have a loyalty program and discounts which come out, that Help. The staff here seems to work very hard, and is friendly. However, it seems like they're obviously understaffed. For example, today I ordered a meal with a concrete. It was over 15 minutes before the concrete was ready... We were nearly done eating our meal. This location is clean and well-maintained, and other than pricing and staffing, a great place! We will continue to come back periodically, hoping that staffing issue gets better! read more

Stopped here for a quick bite after a flight. Food was fast, but the people working there seemed a bit slow in terms of understanding simple requests. I got the brisket burger, fries, Dr. pepper milkshake, & brownie sundae. I really liked their spicy fry sauce, & Dr Pepper shake. Everything else was alright. Freddy's reminds me so much of Steak&Shake, both, of which I don't see many of anymore. Every blue moon, I'll stop by for a hotdog. I did see they had a new menu item and I chose that, patty melt grilled cheese w/ bacon and a tomato sauce. It was so good, but greasy at the same time. I don't think I'd get it again, but I'd highly suggest it to others. I tried out the pumpkin pie concrete, but it didn't hit home for me. I'd never been here before until last week. I think I confused it with Steak and Shake so didn't think twice. I was surprised they had a solid product! I loved the thin patties, fried onions, pickles and mustard (I HATE ketchup with all my being). Shoestring fries were a hit with my husband and son. The teenage staff were friendly and polite. There were a few misses though, like they were out of napkins. Our sundaes didn't have whipped cream or cherries. But that's not a big enough turn off to keep us from coming back. Face it, it's fast food. You don't visit any fast food restaurant for their culinary excellence. So, given that, it's fine. Starting always with the service staff, we received quick and polite service, and the order was correct. The employees seemed happy and were working well together. That's a refreshing change from most fast food restaurants these days. The food we ordered came out quickly, hot, and most importantly, correct. I ordered the California Style Double Combo, which includes two steakburger patties, cheese, full slice of onion, Thousand Island, lettuce & tomato served on a toasted bun. My overall rating is slightly lower because of the sloppy presentation and overall low quality. The burger was fine at best. Certainly not memorable. The real jewels on their menu are the fries and their frozen custard. This shouldn't be missed. The french fries are crispy, skinny-cut, bird nests of unhealthy goodness that can compete against McDonald's any day. Don't overlook their variety of dipping sauces. Their frozen custard is some of the best in the industry, better than Andy's. I'm disappointed they no longer offer peanuts as an additional topping for their hot fudge sundaes. Not everyone has an allergy ya know. The ambiance is cold, fast foodishy, nothing spectacular, and mostly clean tables. Nothing really special to note. Customer service made this place awful. We visited 2/16/24 around 9pm the and 2 female employees were terrible. Like i would fire them if i could. Their communication was poor. I'm not sure if the Freddy's inside closes early or not, but they told us we couldn't dine is as there were very clearly two families dinning in and still receiving food from the counter. This was confusing because if other people are still eating in the restaurant, why can't we? At the very least they could have communicated that the inside was closing or something. They also started locking the doors without explanation 2 hrs before closing. They never explained and clearly whispered about us and stared until we got our food and left. If there would have been communication skills, we would have understood. We then went through the drive through because they didn't give us sauce and the girl taking orders acted like they didn't have sauce and we literally had to list out different types of sauces for her to say yes to something. Common sense is not that common. If a customer asks for a sauce for their onion rings, maybe list out what yall do have instead of just saying "we don't have onion ring sauce". i really like their burgers BUT horrible customer service. No one smiled. Food very slow to come out and it looked like they were full staffed. Everyone moved at a snails pace. One of the employees teenage kids was in the restaurant talking to their parent who was running the drive up window distracting her from her job. And i saw the teenager being rude behind the customers backs. it just felt and looked like we the customers were a big nuisance to everyone. And all the customers were being very patient. There were no Karen's. Owners/management you should get a handle on this. Lots of restaurants all around you have Fantastic customer service and make you feel welcomed. Slow service for our meal. That was okay because we got to chat and visit. The issue came when we went to our frozen custard. Placed our order and waited 20 minutes for ice cream. I went to check and was told they were "out of custard" and he was going to make some NOW - with an additional 10 minutes to make it. Not sure why we weren't told that when I placed the order. This Freddy's is not managed well at all. The soda's were all flat and was told they have issues with their ice machine. They offered a soda from their drive thru, why not offer that when we paid. Ketchup was not available except for the small packages and was told "I guess it is empty". No give a damn for the customer. The quality of this particular location has gotten worse over time. The Steakburgers are nothing but hard crumbs now. The seating area is always dirty and sticky. Their registers are never working properly... last time I was here maybe 6 months ago they were down and the menu board down. Today only one register was available and it was card only. They get my food wrong only 25% percent of the time; but the food is still pretty good! But their fries are SO GOOD!!! And their seasoning!!!! I like that the food is cooked to order. But today I waited over 35 mins for my food. I went inside to order because the drive thru line was long. They gave my food to someone in the drive thru. Another drive thru customer came inside because they gave home the wrong food. But it wasn't my food, so some is going to be pissed when they get home and instead of a hotdog, they got chicken. After the first 20 minutes they called the number after mine. Then about 10 minutes later they called the next number. I went up to ask about mine. They then realized what happened. SAD, SO SAD...we came in late saturday afternoon lunch and walked in for quick bite. Walked up to register and after waiting 5-7 minutes some one at least walked up to take our orders. Now during this whole time I counted 6 people back in cooking area but soooo busy they could not acknowledge the 3 of us standing at register. I have ordered several burgers that are lettuce wrapped, but this is the first time I've received a lettuce wrapped cheeseburger where almost an entire head of wilted, brown iceberg lettuce was used on the outside of the burger patties. I literally had to dig through the lettuce to find the meat. On a positive note, the young girl that took my order at the drive-through was very nice and polite.
