Parking was probably the hardest part at this location, as I'm used to going to Reston or Tysons Corner, where parking is very close to the office. Once I found parking in a lot about a quarter-mile away and walked to the office, I realized I couldn't get in without pushing an intercom button. Again, not something I was used to at the other offices that I've been to. But once I got inside, checked in, and let them know that I was trying to get lab work before my visits, they took care of signing me in for both and getting me set up. The lab tech took me back shortly after, and it was someone I knew from the Reston office. After finishing with the lab tech, the nurse practitioner quickly called me back, took care of the reason I was seeing her, and had me quickly on my way to my next appointment. I can't say enough about One Medical as a practice, and I highly recommend you give them a try if you need primary care or a new doctor.

The back and forth communication between the app is amazing and has saved me hours of my life .. and the ability to make same day appointments is life changing. They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. It's not like other doctors where you walk out with a prescription but not really understanding why you have it. Really the only downside is that Dr. Sues is the only doctor in the office. So yes, you will need to wait if she gets tied up with another patient. The hours are usual business hours, which is generally fine. But it also means if you come down with something more urgent, there won't be evening or weekend hours. And of course, there's no in house lab, so you'll have to visit Quest or Labcorp if you need blood drawn. The location is convenient - basically at the intersection of 495 and Route 50.

Call finally came in today and it wasn't even the doctor! No options, no request for a second visit to discuss. Just straight to the medicine. No thanks. These things are scary for people and to just have disregard because they're too busy? There are plenty of better doctors and practices. However, I later received an unexpected separate office visit charge in addition to the preventive exam billing. My concern was not the care itself, but the lack of transparency regarding billing. During the wellness visit, the provider briefly reviewed outside lab results I had brought with me, and I was later billed for a separate office visit associated with that discussion. I was not informed during the appointment that this could result in an additional charge. After reviewing my visit documentation, I also felt portions of the note did not fully reflect my understanding of the visit, particularly regarding the extent of evaluation performed beyond the wellness exam. After raising concerns and providing supporting documentation, the office acknowledged overlap between the preventive visit and additional billing and indicated the matter would be reviewed. However, I did not receive a final follow-up or resolution regarding the coding review or reimbursement request. I would encourage the practice to improve communication around preventive visit billing and provide more consistent follow-up during billing disputes.

No matter how far fetched it might be. He takes in concerns from head to toe. He is not one of those doctors who say I can only check one thing at a time. He is friendly, funny and very caring. He checks you out throughly. After finishing he prints out all referrals you need and gives you a summary of everything we went over. This doctor is extraordinary. If you ever visit him you will see what I'm talking about. The staff is awesome also. When ever I call them they answer with 5 minutes.
