Bought a 2018 Jeep cherrokee New, Started using 2 quarts of oil a month, took it in an wanted me to pay $225.00 to check things out, it's under warranty, after fighting for 4 years, Finally got a recall on some gaskets. Paid over $500.00 on oil for a new vehicle. Then they reset the gear shift 3 different times an charged me each time, Then the 4th time recall on the circuit board put a new one in but still charged me because by then it was over 36000.00 miles. Service department review. Called a week in advance for a recall fix. Service advisor was professional and the work performed looks to be ok. Though I had to always call for daily updates because they made it seem they only needed it for 1 day. Initially. It was there early after opening. It was finished 4+ days later. 2 star review because, while being checked in for the recall work, I was shown the active faults stored on the body computer. I explained the windshield was replaced by previous owner and it's not the right one. I also explained in great detail why the codes are active. Because it's the wrong windshield. Knowing they would charge me over 179.00 to diagnose 1 of the faults, I agreed since a humidly sensor, harness or controller might be bad. When they were ready to return the vehicle, they charged me half the max amount to tell me my windshield is the wrong one. As stated by me and written on the customer states paper. I thought "well no @&$%" Also my interior lights were left on after the work performed. Guess who would have eaten the new battery cost? As a 1st time customer, you'd think this department would have done better. Instead they took what I already diagnosed and charged me for it. Their fix was spending much more on a windshield and still have 1 of the 2 problems associated. By the way, replacing my windshield as their fix wouldn't have fixed the problem as I purchased an AlfaOBD tool and did it myself. Worst place to get an oil change. AJ is a crook and lies to make you pay more. The top service manager Chris dumb**s will do nothing but side with his terrible technicians. My GF took her truck for service. Oil change, Balance and Tire Rotation and alignment. She got her truck back and nothing but oil leaking all over parking spot where she parks at home. The truck has zero leaks. I took pictures. So I got under the truck and it looked like they poured a whole quart of oil down the side of the engine the filter is on. I checked the oil and it was 1 quart low. Filled it back up and took the truck and washed it. We have since drove this truck for 18 hours. Zero leaks and oil level still on full. When I tell these idiots at Freedom Dodge they say oh the new oil probably blew our a seal or gasket. Horse Crap. They did nothing but blame it on the truck. They are crooks and liers. The alignment is still off even though the idiot who did the alignment showed us the printouts. What a joke. I do not care what your machine says. The truck still pulls on many different types of roads. It's the alignment and idiot running the machine doesn't know how to fix it. WORTHLESS PLACE STAY AWAY. read more

Don't normally take my vehicle to the dealership outside of warranty repair, but due to a bad oil change from Mobile 1 in Garland I was leaking oil and I thought it would be warranty related, it wasn't. Scott in the Service Department understood my concerns and made me a customer going forward. They fixed the issue and I was on my way as quickly as they could. Will be using Freedom for service and to buy my new RAM with the new smaller turbo engine when it becomes available. So far so good!! read more

We've never had such a terrible experience and we never leave reviews, but this was worthy. Paid over 90k for a 2500 and have had nothing but issues. It's spent more time in service than we've driven it. The service department needs an absolute overhaul. The truck sat there for 3 months and get a call it's fixed (after calling multiple times) only to get there and still have the same issues. Which they claimed on the paperwork they couldn't replicate but did it right in front of the advisors on multiple occasions. They said all 2500s click when you press the brake, but refused to bring up a new 2500 and show us it clicks. Now having to take our truck to a different dealership who confirmed that's not normal. Highly advise against this dealership all together. read more

I was getting my oil changed and there was some crazy guy screaming at the young lady who had helped me. I saw she was very upset. She ran off and the Service Manager came out to speak to the guy and the man just went nuts, screaming and cussing. The Service Manager told him he wasn't welcome there anymore and told him to leave. The crazy guy kept screaming and told the manager he was going to leave a bad review. The manager told him he didn't care that he just needed to leave and not come back. I agree with the Service Manager, there is no reason to treat people the way this man was treating them. Some woman was trying to hold the man back and asked him to stop but he just kept on. I am happy to see a manager stand up for what is right, and for that I am giving 5 stars! Not to mention my oil change and rotate were done in a timely matter. read more

This dealership is the worst!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They need to rename their service department to "1 star is all we are worth". They are slow, lazy, don't communicate, and don't care about customer service. Their management team obviously doesn't know how to do their job because their service department doesn't get held accountable. Clay is the worst employee they have and he defines laziness. The service manager actually said he didn't care about the issues we had and he didn't care if we left bad reviews. So here you go service manager!! Here's your first negative review. my service adviser was Micah. He did a great job listening to my concerns and made sure I understood what was going to be done to my truck. He called me with updates and the pricing once they had everything diagnosed. He told me how much it was going to be and how long it was going to take. Everything was done in the timeframe discussed and my truck is as good as new. Just for the record the dealership is not Hoyte anymore it is now Freedom Dodge. I just could not find a place to review Freedom Dodge. I will be taking my 3 other Dodge products in as needed for service. I have a 2018 Ram 3500, with 70,000 miles on it, that I bought in August 2020, at another dealership. It had been serviced before I bought it, but after I got it home, small things started showing up. The passenger window wouldn't roll down from the driver side. Nothing showed up on the dash menu regarding tires or tire pressure. Then, the DEF system quit using DEF (The gauge showed full without the needle moving for two weeks). I took it to the Freedom Sherman service center location, and told them about the truck, and that I wanted it checked from bumper to bumper. I received a call the next day telling me that the DEF system had diesel in it and that had ruined the pump. It was suggested that I had mistakenly put diesel in the DEF tank, and I assured them that I had not. I was told $2200.00 and I asked about the tires and window not rolling down. I was told that they had a diesel mechanic working on the DEF system and it would go over to someone different to check out the electronics. Three days later, I get a call that the truck is ready. When I pick it up, the guy I had been dealing with was not there, and the new guy was clueless about what had been done. I was escorted to a cashier, and dumped off, while the guy from the service department disappeared. $2500.00 later I finally see what they had done in writing. They had replaced the DEF system. That was it. The window still didn't roll down and I still don't know why nothing about the tires shows up on the dash menu. The overall experience was: The employees there had an underlying attitude of "You need us, we don't need you". When calling or interacting with different individuals in the service center, they were flippant and dismissive. The young man (Alex) that I primarily dealt with was nice but seemed either clueless or trying to be slick when avoiding my questions.
