At the time, the purchase was substantial and we received excellent service from Rick Ritt and had recommended him. Sadly, we were unable to work with Rick on this most recent visit. We returned to the showroom for another project and were honestly shocked by the experience. Multiple employees were sitting at their desks without any customers, scrolling on their phones--one clearly on Facebook--yet we were told we could not be helped because we didn't have an appointment and would need to come back the next day. In a retail showroom. While staff were visibly doing nothing. This level of arrogance and indifference toward customers is astounding. We made an appointment and returned the next day. Made our purchase. The service didn't improve after the sale either. One of the faucets we purchased from Ferguson--around $500--turned out to be defective when our plumber installed it. Because of the timeline of the remodel, it had been about 90 days since the order. I reached out to Ferguson for help with the return or replacement and was completely ghosted after they said "we will reach out to manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done'. No follow-up, no assistance, no accountability. If you read the other reviews online, this seems to be a pattern. Ferguson appears very eager to sell expensive products but far less interested in standing behind them when they sell a defective product. Ironically, you'll often get better customer service from Amazon and a chatbot - or even at Burger King -than you will from the people working in this showroom. I'm aware that Ferguson has acquired build.com and has consolidated the industry, but please understand consumers still have options. Our time is valuable and we had selected Ferguson for what we thought would be ease of order and attentive service with no regard for price whatsoever. We thought by paying more we would receive elite service. We were wrong. Bottom line: I wouldn't hire these people to pick up cigarette butts at my carnival

We had been planning our kitchen remodel for quite some time when we visited FERGUSON on Miles for…read morethe first time, yesterday. I was looking forward to it! The showroom is filled with impressive displays but that's about it. We walked every square inch and NOT ONE employee acknowledged us. NOT ONE. I spent more than a little while checking on the spec's and prices of the few things with such info available and I was genuinely shocked by the mark-ups I found. For example, I recognized a mid-level, single vanity, simply framed mirror that was nearly $1,000......This brand tops out at $600, if that, on such a small mirror. Additionally, most, if not every, kitchen display included a sagging shelf here or a badly mitered corner there. I have never experienced this anywhere else. It felt like a showroom for flippers. While indeed a beautiful, dreamy showroom, I found little in substance, or real-world value.

I just returned from my first visit at Coventry Lighting. I pass by it every day on my way to work…read moreand always admire the beautiful displays in the window so I decided to stop by today. I have recently moved into a brand new home and would like to purchase some new decorative items as well as a new chandelier for my my foyer. I entered the store and knew immediately that I would find several things that I would love. I stopped to look at a display near the entrance where an employee was unpacking some merchandise. She did not acknowledge me nor did any of the employees working there. I was in the store for about half an hour and found a few items that I would have purchased (and mind you, their items are NOT inexpensive) but since no one approached me or offered me help as I was struggling to find the price on a chandelier I thought would look awesome in my house, I couldn't bring myself to ask for assistance because they clearly didn't need my business. In fact, a gentleman who works there (which I found out was a designer named Frank by visiting their web-site) was standing about 3 ft from me and told the 2 girls at the counter that "Sometimes I can't stand people." Well, that sealed the deal for me. As a manager of a large bank in the area who focuses on excellent customer service, I can surely understand feeling this way at times, but expressing it front of a customer (a customer who wants to buy something REALLY bad) is just unacceptable. I was so disappointed because there were a few items I really wanted to purchase but I just couldn't do it based on the fact that no one ever even spoke to me the whole time I was there. So in summary, Coventry Lighting has many beautiful items for your home and some of the most unique lighting I've seen around but the service is atrocious.
