The one negative about moving to Arizona, was leaving them. I really felt as though I was leaving friends. I am now struggling to find a new practice, which is very difficult, knowing they will never match Freedom Hearing. Giving them a five rating just does not seem good enough, I wish they had ten!

I got seen at 12:30. My issue was with how fidgety Doc Chambers is. I'm not sure what's wrong with him or why he is so all over the place. It's like bad nerves as if he has some kind of addiction he's trying to kick. He did my tonsillectomy procedure because he was literally the only ENT doc in the area that my insurance dealt with. The experience was horrible. I'm sure tonsillectomies are painful no matter the surgeon. But my procedure went wrong. I was told I choked on my own blood, had to be put back under anesthesia to get stitches. The anesthesia took a lot out of me. I wasn't ready to be discharged. Soon as I left, I went to fill my prescription and the meds immediately made me sick. I was vomiting up blood, a fever, and couldn't swallow. Had to go back to ER and Doc Chambers couldn't be located. It's hard not to think his fidgeting while I was under the knife contributed to all of the issues. Not only that but he had an argument with my family member. Most awkward doctor I've ever had.

They dropped my son as a patient because…read morewe have CHAMPVA insurance--even though they accept Tricare and Medicare, which CHAMPVA shares as its provider list. There was no transparency about this upfront and no effort to work through the issue. What made this especially concerning was the timing. This happened after my son had already undergone surgery and before a routine follow-up appointment. We were left scrambling to find another provider on short notice and ultimately had to drive two hours to ensure he received necessary care. CHAMPVA is a straightforward insurer and provides coverage for families of disabled veterans. Based on our experience, it appeared that we were dropped due to reimbursement concerns rather than any issue with coverage itself. Discontinuing care for a child in the middle of treatment under these circumstances felt extremely unprofessional and concerning. This situation created unnecessary stress during a time when continuity of care is critical. I would strongly encourage others to find a more reliable provider before establishing care with this practice.

I have known that a hearing…read moreaide was in my future, as my family grew tired of my ongoing..."What, what did you say" etc. etc. What I did not realize was that my left ear was in similarly poor shape. My internest recommended Audiology Associates, specifically Dr. Melissa Segev. Her reputation was stellar from a number of physicians that I interviewed in the Annapolis community, as well as several hearing aide users. I knew that I was in very capable care from the hearing test on. Two PhD audiologists supervised the 50+ minute exam, and carefully related the degree of deterioration in each ear. Dr. Segev then fitted me with the latest technology, yet not the most expensive. In my case "good" was actually great! Dr. Segev and her staff embody what a patient needs when making an investment in technology....she and her associates are knowledgable, competent, caring and easy to work with. Pardon the pun, but they "listen". After the initial purchase Dr. Segev made several adjustments as the brain has become sensitized to frequencies that it has not heard for years. Last Saturday my wife and I attended the Symphony, and for the first time in 50+ years I was able to hear each instrument, high and low pitch, clearly and with "round sound". Technology and Dr. Segev have restored what was taken from year when I was just 17 years old...my family and I both thank you!

The Front Desk area was well kept and the business manager was friendly and helpful. She was also very friendly to our son, to me that goes a long way. We were seen by Dr. Guy, and she was more that just professional. She was kind and understanding. Our son is terrified of any doctor-type setting so he was having none of that, but Dr. Guy kept on with the evaluation and answered all our questions. Great staff for kids and adults and I very much do recommend them.
