I had a problem with not able to close trunk after a collision and my mirror lights would not go out afraid of dead battery this was before I was able to get repair estimate. Getting that next week. They were able to close my trunk lights went out. Did it as courtesy and I hadn't even chosen them yet to repair damage. I decided then to forget the other collision place and go with them. Some woman drove into the front of my daughter's car while she sat at a stop sign. Unbelievable!! The damage wasn't awful, fortunately. I brought the car to the body shop that fixed my wife's car a couple years ago. They just didn't seem interested in the job. I guess it wasn't big enough or didn't pay enough. My mechanic recommended Freehold Collision. I'm glad he did. Bob looked it over and said they'd take care of it. What a relief. And take care of it they did! The car looks great. They even vacuumed the interior, which wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated. I'm pretty particular where I bring my cars. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU. BEWARE!!! Freehold collision is a fraudulent establishment that cheats and harasses the customers to pay extremely high and unrealistic costs that they charge. I had a deer hit my Volvo and went to them as they got listed on Volvo as a certified body shop. From then on it was all downhill. It all starts when they begin the work on the car and order parts without agreement from insurance companies. And they do not negotiate with them on the cost and hold the car collateral until the customer caves in and pays out of pocket to get the car out. Insurance adjuster has claimed they do this all the time with customers and are well known for this type of cheating. When I kept asking them about the status of the car, they disrespected me. They created a false bill and put an extremely high towing charge when the car was not even towed, which they are now claiming as a storage charge which only appears as towing on the bill. Are you kidding me?? They called me and said the car was ready for pickup. When I went there, I saw my car standing outside the shop ready to be delivered. When I told them I was responsible only for my deductible, they took the car in again and deliberately disabled the left turn indicator. They then started saying the car is not ready and we have discovered an issue with the turn signal. All this happens right from the Owner Bob to all the way down. I am filing a complaint in every possible forum against them. I would have given 0 star if it was possible. read more

Not only did they carry out the repairs t my car competently, they did so without having to replace the entire assembly as all the others had insisted on doing saving me significant expense in the process. If you are looking for someone who can do stuff creatively then you will not find too many choices in Jersey like Freehold Collision. Front Desk Girls are very nice! It ends there! Service sucks, repairs not done correctly and the shop will not take onus for damage they create! Do not Ever, Ever, Ever, take your car there. They will take weeks to fix what other shops get done in a day or too. They also over charge on service and will hype up the cost to you insurance company to get additional funds!! I don't normally write reviews for anything, but I had to for this poorly run company. When I say poorly run, I'm certain the owner is doing very well, it's the consumer that's screwed!! One star because there is no negative option!!! Again, the girls at the front desk are excellent, I actually feel bad that they have to buffer the shitty repair service!!! read more

So where do I start. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. You've been WARNED.I bring my car there on minor hood and light damage. They repaired it with used parts plus delayed the repair to get more money out of my insurance which meant me waiting 9 days with no car! They didn't care. So its now finished but all looks funky. They replaced it with a used headlight and the brightness of the light was very weak. They say thats how it should be. I demanded them to change it so they kept my car another 3 days replaced the light with a new one and reclaimed more insurance. I get my car back now and THERES A NEW blotchy mark in the paint about 5 inches by 2 inches. My guess is it was a rag with chemicals left on the car and it discolored the paint similair to raw bleach on a black shirt!. They asked for us to leave the car with them a few more days to contact the insurance company and get more money to fix it. I realized they probably purposely discolored the paint to get the car in their shop longer for MORE Insurance MONEY! I refused. They called me for days asking for the car and how they will fix the blotchy mark. Never brought it there i now drive my car with a blotchy bleach stained mark. Their business is fishy and the Receptionist no comment. Never again. Ill warn everyone I know with my story read more
