I wasn't able to attend the restaurant in person with family, but I was able to get their take on their experience of their visit as well as my own experience with the entree I received at home. This was an impromptu Monday dinner plan, and everyone met up around 7pm at Garcia's Restaurant. For being a rather large party, they were seated very quickly. I was told that everyone enjoyed their meals and especially their drinks! There were 2 kiddos in this party, and they also loved their meal. They had absolutely no complaints, and thanked me for the referral of the restaurant. Now, I had my boyfriend order me the Carne Asada Plate To-Go. When he handed it to me at home, I quickly asked "do you have leftovers in here too?" He said "nope! That's all yours!". Now when I tell you this bag was heavy? I mean this bag was heavy! After looking in the bag, they included a bag of fresh hot chips, two large salsa containers along with my meal. The amount of food they give you is amazing! I definitely had leftovers for the next day, and I was so happy about that. The carne asada was so tender! And had a great flavor. Rice and beans were great and the grilled veggies were a wonderful addition. One thing I never liked at some Mexican restaurants was when they drown everything in cheese. This was not that, and it allowed me to actually taste each component. I wish I was able to join everyone so I could experience the restaurant as a whole, but will be planning a visit so I can update my review accordingly. This restaurant has been a staple in the village for a VERY long time, as long as I can remember. I cant wait to be able to experience the in-person dining! Stay tuned!
