I used Freeway Insurance in El Monte previously and found their rates to be fair. I needed to upgrade my insurance since I just purchased a used Jeep. I looked online but the quotes seemed to be bogus because there was no way they could accurately quote me since I have a pretty bad driving record. I called Freeway Insurance Highland Park and dealt with Pablo. He ran my driving record and it was bad. 6 points. He told me that only certain insurance would cover me since I'm considered "high risk." No surprise there. After a couple of minutes he found a provider that would insure me and give me towing assistance. It was part of a package, not an upsell or any type of scam. I asked Pablo about the different fee's, my deposit, full policy value, their cut (since they're a broker) and what my renewal rates would be. I opted for a full 6 months payment to save on installment fees. I read all the fine print where fee's were involved because I didn't want any surprises. Employee's like Pablo are far-and-few because he is honest and upfront. It's good customer service when they can tell you the process, the layout of the fee's, the amount the broker gets, the amount you will pay upon renewal, etc. I would recommend this particular Freeway Insurance because of Pablo. I was buying a car from a dealer so had to insure it. The dealer referred me to Freeway Insurance... I paid over 300.00 and went to pick up my car. When arriving the car I thought o was buying was changed for a different one . I didn't take it and NEVER owned it. I called Freeway insurance and told them I didn't get the car and canceled the policy.within the cancellation period. I was promised a full refund because I dont have nor did I end up buying the car. The dealer sent a fax and email telling freeway insurance I did not get the car also. I received a call from a agent called Fernando Arias Torres very rude agent never in my life have I been spoken so rude and disrespectful!!!
