I have always been reluctant when it comes to shopping for car insurance. It is one of those tasks that I put off even when it is needed. I found Freeway Insurance and after contacting the office I was connected with Neyceh Corona. I was introduced to the plans which suited my needs and given the opportunity to think carefully on what my choice would be. I feel that Neyceh gave me an outline for what I was shopping for and solutions. I was never feeling overwhelmed or pressured. Finding service like this is something I have always appreciated and feel that good communication and service in business should be rewarded. Cancels my policy because they would always claim to not be able to get automatic pay from my bank I had set up with them and when this happens I'm charged another $25 late fee. So I started paying it directly to avoid the late fee, can you believe these thieving clowns for some reason could never find that payment wanting to tack on another $25 anyway. I canceled the policy and they figured they could keep charging me anyway. I think not! I had to light their asses up before they realized they were not dealing with someone that will stand for nothing nor fall for anything. They got the picture then and only then. Stay away from this company and those they're associated with. This agency connected me with all state insurance who increased the monthly for no reason no more than 6 months later. Then This company says another company called Blue Fire insurance took over my contract which forced me to pay the 12 months up front. I didn't have an issue until I called Blue Fire Insurance to add another car which would have meant they would increase there business. Well I spent over 1.5 on hold and only spoke with 4 different "agents" who strangely transferred me to a survey while looking up my information that hung up the call afterwards. It's 1pm and I am still waiting for someone from freeway to call me back. As the cliche goes, "we get what we pay for!" Do not come here. I decided to give this place a shot because I thought it'd be cheaper. First off i got quoted on a policy that i decided to go forward with it OVER THE PHONE. I started my policy with 250 or less. It was a scheduled payment for i believe the 9th of each month but the first month would be charged the 29th. I was like okay , i had the policy for 6 months when the first month came around it got canceled because apparently setting up automatic payments has a mind of its own and will not charge the first month so i was forced to pay 495 in broker fees because they had to start a whole new policy and which i had to go inside and office apparently and literally had to pay that up front or in payments. Then when the time came for the payments to get charged on automatic i was told it was only the FIRST month will be charged on the 29th yet again but it would be due on the 9 th of each month. That was a lie it charged every 29th and on the 9 th it was potentially going to be canceled because i was already 10 days over due. Makes no sense but sure. I was told after my 6 months were up i checked the app and come to find out my insurance rate was going to go up to $535 because of adding a driver and my husbands driving record, mind you his driving record had a point and the broker tried to tell me the insurance went up because of a point on his license which had been there prior to getting a policy at freeway ( i was quoted with blue fire in case you're wondering ) on top of that when my husband decides to add me to the policy in order to make a quick buck the broker added tire service to my policy and charged me $40 when all i wanted was a driver added and apparently there was no charge. One of your customers, via Bridger insurance, hit my son four months ago. We still don't have a car back. Bridger is refusing to pay to make it drivable and won't total it. This is not good customer service from Bridger who should obviously pay. I called your office and you said you couldn't do anything but refer me to Bridger. Pro tip. Don't use Bridger insurance. The customer service department is something else!! They just want your money. They don't care if you have a family or bills to pay! I just got off the phone with one of the male representatives and he just kept at it with trying to make me get insurance when I clearly said you guys are expensive and want a down payment of $500! So that my payment would be $97.83 monthly and the $500 would be covering my first and second month. Makes no dam sense! Z90.3 forgot to include horrible customer service. The guy kept talking over me and never let me talk also he was done helping me because he hung up so fast before I could even ask what other options there were. Save your money and go with geico. I got hit by another under insured driver where I decided to open a claim with my company. The worst most stressful experiences I've been in. Worst insurance broker ever! I have called five different times after Lulu gave me today's specific date to call in for an extension, no specific time frame, no other information--just call on the 13th and you'll get a two week extension. I have been hung up on five times! The gentleman I spoke with said they could not allow an extension, the woman who spoke with me after he did said I couldn't file the extension the day after after 5pm, that it had to be before 2pm. I called at 9:30am and they had the exact same information and that was well prior to 2pm. I called my bank and there are no pending e-checks going into my account, which is why they're telling me they can't file the extension. Seeing other reviews of how much they rip people off and tell them one thing when they mean another only proves they're all snakes. Go elsewhere if you're considering them. I honor and always give credit, where the credit is due. I've been to soo many places trying to find the perfect insurance for my cars but nothing has really met my needs,expectations, and budget. Until I heard about Freeway insurance on the radio. Gave them a call and they did a quote for me while answering all of my questions and concerns over the phone. I decided to give them a call back today, finally after some time of making sure I wanted to do business with them. Right when I called, they were able to pull out my existing quote and help me get going with my cars' insurances right away. I had the pleasure to be helped by Aaron. He was very helpful and gave me the option to do my policy electronically (I didn't even know that was a thing). Everything was done online from my email while talking to Aaron over the phone. I was able to approve and sign the policy online as well. That I didn't even have to go through traffic and it was all done through my home's comfort (on my day off from work). To be honest this is the most convenient, fast, and helpful/knowledgeable place to get your insurance. I will also like to honor Aaron for his hard work and for taking care of his customers with ease. He truly exceeded my expectations within customer service and his easy ways of delivering accurate information for all of my questions and concerns over the phone. UPDATE!!!!!! Please read!!!!! I thought this was an honest location up until my recent visit. I was notified that I would be placed on liability for 24 hours and switched over to full coverage after one full day. Turns out, this was not done! We were completely lied to in order to gain commission for LOURDES the employee and male manager at this location. We were going to conduct business elsewhere because the deposit was to much for us at the time. We were told that they would "work with us" and simply place us on liability for one day to reflect a lower out of pocket versus starting off immediately with full coverage. I had never heard of this being done but ASSUMED this was their way of helping our family save money. Nevertheless I was completely wrong. I was told to simply sign for liability FOR NOW and in one full day the full coverage would kick in, as they would, and I quote "trick the system" so that I didn't have to pay a full coverage deposit. In return for the "great service", he asked that I place positive feedback on yelp, as the manger stated "place a five star review in Lourdes name because she really needs it". And so I did provide a five star review and positive comments. However this is my amendment and warning to all! Trusting this was what I was going to receive, as I've been here for years for FULL COVERAGE. Never in our entire life have we ever had liability only on our vehicles that clearly have equity. I'm thinking that they looked at our record and assumed we had not got into any accidents in our history of freeway insurance therefore they committed an act of FRAUD ! One week later, our vehicle was vandalized! We notified the insurance company whom in turn notified us that the vehicle claim was closed due to the fact that we only had liability coverage and NO full coverage. So now not only was our vehicle kicked by a jerk off but two freeway employees had committed fraud!!! They sold us a liability policy simply for personal gains with no intention of switching the policy to full coverage. We called corporate and they treated us like scum! The manager yelled at us, as the consumer! He stated we purchased liability and there is no record of full coverage. He stated that we had two payments, one being the day the policy started and the second was a week later. He stated that it could have been possible they would switch it to full coverage but not until after the second down payment was made. This was completely INVALID! He rambled on how he is the main manager and that he reports to himself. Therefore there was nobody that oversees him. He was rude and offered zero solutions! He stated it was our fault for purchasing liability (couldn't believe this was being said to us!!!) and when we again told him what we were promised at the National City location, he stated the records show I purchased liability. He said there was no way we got full coverage because the deposit would be much higher. AGAIN, we reiterated what we were promised and it appeared it was solely to gain commission. He refused to believe anything we had to said and continued to state it was our fault!!! I immediately said to him I would personally go speak with Lourdes and the manager regarding the fraud actions for personal gains! We arrive at the insurance location only to find the doors locked and the girl that sold the policy to us -- walking to the back! We waited for about five minutes and you won't believe this.... two patrol officers showed up! They stated they received a disturbance call from the insurance location. I stated to them that I had not even had the opportunity to speak with the people inside! I told them what happened and also suggested they review the video cameras because I had NOT even spoke or walked into the insurance office!!! The officers stated they understood but nothing they could do besides suggest we file civil lawsuit for deposit and damages. They suggested we contacted the Insurance Commissioner that handles insurance fraud cases. I was pleased to know that there in fact is a governing agency for these home in the wall places. You get what you pay for - true fact. I contacted the California Insurance Commissioner and stated the fraud acts committed for personal gains. I completed the online complaint and was notified I would be assigned an investigator in ten business days to proceed further. I also contacted a local legal firm and have an appt in 2 weeks to discuss this case. Lastly, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as I plan to proceed to the fullest extent of the law! i'm gonna copy-paste the complaint paper that i sent to Department of Insurance about Freeway insurance which is located on 925 E Plaza Blvd. If i had a option, i wouldnt give any star(rate) to this company but unfortunately minimun i should give 1 star. I hope it would be enough to make a decision before insure your car. State of California Department of Insurance Dear Sir/Madam, I have a Limo Company in San Diego. On 16th of August, i purchased a car from Alabama and the same date i called Freeway Insurance to insure my company car. When I called the broker i explained type of my business and gave her all the details that she needs. On the phone i asked several times to the broker that if the insurance that she is going to do, cover my limo or not. Because i know, it's hard to find a company that insures limos (because of the insurance requirements for the limo companies). Even if I asked her many times, she was pretty sure that it will cover my company car. Then I agreed on the high price (because I know limo insurances cost more than private car insurance) and I sign all the papers that she needs. 4-5 days later i called Progressive costumer care and asked my insurance type. They told me that my car insured as a trucking for-hire (please see the attached paper about Policy Summary). My car is Lincoln Town Car, it's not a truck and im not a truck driver. Also as you can see all the papers that I sign, my company name is 619 Limo LLC. The day later I went to the Freeway Insurance office which i made my insurance over the phone and explained my situation that I have been in. I wanted to cancel my insurance which does not match with my company. They accepted their fault and promised me for giving all money refund. They didn't cancel my insurance. After that day I called in every couple days to confirm it but on each phone conversation broker Myra always kept me wait more than 8-10 minutes and always found unreal excuse (for exm. "my manager is not here", "im waiting mail/phone from progressive ins" etc.). Even if she told me that she was gonna call me in 5 mins, never called me back. At last on 29th of August, they hadn't called me but I couldn't stop myself and i went there to sign the cancellation papers. After I signed all the papers that they need, they told me that they aren't going to give all money refund due to the fact that I have been insured for 12 days. (even if I told them to cancel my policy right after 4-5 days that policy done.) Today is 11th of September, im still waiting for reply. Normally, I don't care 50-100 bucks loss but they are like making fun of me and I never accept that! Since I signed this policy I have been in heavy headache and I have an emotional pain.
