She was very informational also and gave me tips and tricks on how to make going to the DMV a lot easier for me so I really appreciate her taking the time to give me this information as I've talked to other people and companies trying to figure out numbers she was the only one that really seemed interested in helping me. Customer privacy is violated. As we are sitting here infront of the representative Vivian Reyes, who is reviewing our account. She was not able to assist in answering any of our questions and as she is "reviewing" our account she picks up a phone call and infront of us reviews all the other customers demographics, name, address, email, vehicles covered etc.. she then places the call on hold and we asked other questions and a customer walked in. She began to attend the other customer. Came back and picked up call that was on hold and then placed them on hold again and proceeded to help the other member who had walked in. I told her that it is very disrespectful for her to be helping other customers while she has a customer infromt of her. She made no apologies and stated they are understaffed. I acknowledged and told her that is completely understandable but she needs to attend the 1st customers needs. She stated she couldn't answer my question as to why my insurance went up $100 from last month! Soo unprofessional and rude. I told her then she should be calling the insurance to clarify and her response was they are closed! She then did not want to provide her managers name, she stated it was the lady that just walked out. I went over and obtained the managers name, Jacqueline. Soo unprofessional and upset at the lack of customer service received from Vivian Reyes!! That is not the way to treat a customer! So unprofessional! Avoid signing up with freeway. If you end up going and have Brandon assist you, go to someone else. I went in on March 16th to cancel my policy. He said great. Took my ID to make a copy. When he came back I told him I needed the policy until the 18th as that's when my new policy would take effect. He immediately got defensive and was like NOPE you said cancel so I canceled it and its done! I asked if there was any way he could change it. He said there was no way. Yes I should have said right up front it needed to go until the 18th. But he asked no questions and just took my ID. So I was uninsured for a day. Annoying but manageable. Yesterday I got a notice from my old insurance that my policy was to be canceled due to non payment. Called the insurance directly...he didn't upload the cancelation document!!!! So it never got canceled! Now I have to jump through hoops to make sure it shows as canceled, so it doesn't reflect badly upon me. If you're going to be rude and say its canceled, AT LEAST CANCEL THE POLICY!!! Only gave 2 stars because the woman who actually sent the cancellation was very helpful. read more

At my initial contact it took a little more time than I expected to sign up. I was trying to get things handled at the DMV with proof of insurance right after I signed up for insurance. I was having problems at the DMV and I contacted Freeway where the manager Israel Valle took over the phone call. He contacted DMV (while I was in line) and handled everything for me, even taking care of my 14$ reinstatement fee. After that he gave me his personal cell and told me if I ever have any questions and cant reach him to feel free to contact him personally. I actually had to do that and he was so kind and efficient. My experience went pretty well, insurance isn't anything fun to buy and just plain annoying but we all need to have it so I can't complain about the service or price I received from Freeway. I just need cheap insurance, state minimum, just the basic, I got the lowest rate I could get with having a few tickets on my record. Overall I saved myself a solid $400 a year which is great but the four stars is for not having a solid plan for when I renew with them next year. Edgar who was great at his job informed me that my yearly plan would drop to 500 something if I don't get any tickets within the next year...but...this is no documentation on that number. So I really hope next year when I renew with no tickets, the price of 5 something should stay the same...will we find out next year... read more
