We chose some classic sugar cookies and they were huge, delicious and fairly priced. The one thing I did notice was that they felt alittle too moist from possibly being refrigerated a while, but my kids still ate them up and ask to go back often! I will try their sodas next time too :)

When my husband brought home the frosted sugar cookie with a lime on the top, I was like, "What?"…read moreI'm a lime fan for desserts, so he thought I would especially like this one in the pack he purchased. I squeezed the lime on the top of the frosting and then took a bite, it was kinda a dense cookie and not a big chilled cookie connoisseur. I personally prefer them warm out of the oven or at least room temp! The service for a Saturday night was not bad, not great, but I don't care too much about that, even though there was a group of teenagers that couldn't decide and that caused a delay with our "to go" order. Decided on their 6 pack. They seemed to be at bit smaller than the other popular cookie spot, but are cheaper than them too! Hadn't gotten anything other than the cookies, but they do offer soda drinks such as unique ice cream floats, delicious dreamsicles blends & many other refreshers. Another great twist they have are; low-carb, gluten-free or sugar-free options as well. My husband enjoyed the peanut butter/nutella cookie. Our boys sampled them all. They thought they were just average. That said, the left overs we ordered (didn't eat last night) didn't look as appealing in the AM as so much grease filled the lined inside of the box. Must be a superabundant shortening recipe?! Those were just ones we decided not to finish which made the experience one we probably won't do again. (See pics)

Stopped by Salt & Straw and this place continues to live up to the hype…read more From the moment I walked in, the staff stood out. Super knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, and actually took the time to walk through flavors and offer samples without making it feel rushed. You can tell they care about the experience, not just moving the line. I went with the Good Brownie and it was incredible. Rich, chocolatey, and perfectly balanced without being too heavy. Every bite felt intentional, like they really thought through the flavor and texture. It's one of those desserts you keep thinking about after you leave. The shop itself has a great energy. Clean, upbeat, and just a fun place to be. It feels like more than just grabbing ice cream... it's an experience. Love this place and I'll absolutely be back to try more flavors.

I'm drawn to more simple unique flavors and I think S&S has more decadent interesting combinations. Example are Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise and Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper. I tried the sweet pear and blue cheese and you definitely taste the blue cheese...surprisingly good! Honey Lavender is also a tried-and-true flavor. A scoop (cup, cone, waffle) is kind of pricey, like many places now. $6.25 and if you do a split scoop it's .50 more. Pints are $12 which is a better "deal" if your family likes ice cream. Ice cream cakes were $79 :o Service is very friendly and they sell things product memorabilia like tshirts. There is limited outdoor seating. The Gilbert souvenir store offers 10% off if you bring a receipt from S&S. There are a lot of eateries in this area.
