I was amazed at the way Santiago talked to him, no pressure, explained the cars and showed him the differences. And, did I say there was no pressure? Once we sat down and looked at numbers, we were still a bit off. We left for the night. On the way home, we talked about how much we liked Santiago and I told my son how different he was from most car salesmen. He was not pushy, putting pressure on you, jumping to a more expensive car - he respected what you told him. They handed me the keys and told me to take it for a spin, just like that, no drivers-ed treatment where some yutz lectures you about the useless features, no waiting around. This gave me the confidence to really relax and imagine owning the car as I drove. I came back to the dealership with a big dopey grin on my face since the test drive went perfectly. Here's a tip: turn right as you head out the parking lot, there's a little neighborhood on the right with a cul de sac where you can (carefully) test your car's turning radius and maneuverability at suburban speeds. If you keep going straight away from the dealership, there's an industrial park where you can go a teeny bit faster. The straightaways around 1A are just fine for a quick sporty zip. After the test drive, the owners and I had a few minutes to chat about the Bolt, my driving needs and home charging situation, and the general state of the EV market. Suffice it to say, they know their stuff. This is not some casual hobby to them where they just read the brochures of the cars, there is a real enthusiasm and passion there. Theres enough to make me write this before I'm fully committed to buying a car from this establishment. There's enough to make me type this review out in my own car before I leave the place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!…read more My hydraulic clutch went out in my 2010 Grand Sport. Had it trucked in. They had it for two weeks, but I finally got the car back. Drove off to find the Engine Light on. Called them and was told to "drive the car around for a week, if it doesn't turn off, bring it in. The mechanic probably unplugged the battery while working on your car." Drove around for over a week, no change. Called and made an appointment to bring her in. Brought the car in and waited. They brought me the keys and told me everything was set. I went out and started the car...ENGINE LIGHT ON!!!!!!! Every excuse in the book. The cold air intake was not tight so they tighten the screws on that. Engine covers weren't tight so they tightened those. Of course, I thanked them and told them that I didn't think that contributed to the engine light being on, and if they did tighten everything, why is it still on??? Again, a plethora of excuses. Then they had the unmitigated gall to remind me that the car was brought in on a flatbed. Of COURSE it was. The master cylinder on the clutch was gone! I asked them what that meant. I got nothing but shoulder shrugs. I told them that the guy that brought the car in did nothing to cause the engine light to come on. Their response? "You never know " They dusted me for close to $900 for a new clutch master cylinder. But won't take responsibility for causing the engine light to come on. Trust me when I tell you, if you're not handing them a credit card they want nothing to do with you and will throw blame everywhere but on themselves! Find someone else to work on your Corvette. A showroom full of Flashy cars is one thing, but typical Mechanic BS is another!!! UPDATE: Finally, I took the car to a reputable Chevy dealer, and they found that when the mechanic at Corvette Mike's went to fix the clutch, he had to remove the master cylinder of the brakes, which is common. He did it incorrectly, and the O-Ring snapped and got sucked into the system and that's what was causing the light to go on. I called Corvette Mike and asked to speak to him, hoping that we could settle this in an amicable way. He told me he was unhappy with the review that I left (see above,) began calling me names, telling me "I was not a man, but a woman" and wound up calling me a C$nt! Like I said before: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
