They look kind of dry compared to classic soft cinnamon rolls but I tried one because a lot of reviewers recommended them and they were incredible and not dry at all. They must use a laminated dough instead of a regular enriched yeasted dough so you get sweet cinnamon flavor in every flakey buttery bite.

We tried the eat the east breakfast sandwich ($11) and the vermonter sandwich ($16). I especially liked the vermonter sandwich and the bread it came on. The cafe also sells various bread items and baked goods. One thing to note is that since the cafe is counter-serve, seating is also first come first serve. We were able to snag a seat right as someone left, but for that reason I would recommend coming at a less peak time if able. August First is deservedly a busy spot in Burlington and I would be there often if I were a local.

From a positive aspect, the place is immaculate. We probably could have refilled our coffee (VT Coffee) for no extra charge. Tables were very clean and I've never seen a cleaner restaurant floor.
