I haven't been more mistreated it in my life then at this location a Caucasian lady with blonde hair were taking my order at that location with a bad attitude with me without no reason. I had asked for three pieces of king cake and I noticed that she just wrote down two,so I told her that I said two and she replied with a horrible attitude that she got it then I pay for it I am waiting for my King cake and I noticed that were just two pieces and I told her again I said three and said no you didn't for my perception she just treated me on that way because I am Hispanic. End of the story if you are Latino be careful at that location she might be the cashier who will take care of you. However the rest of the staff is amazing I do not know where this woman came from. read more

We believe we were discriminated against here based on our ethnicity. This location on Williams Blvd. openly chose not to serve us while we watched caucasian customers take priority. After waiting 25 minutes for 2 frozen coffee drinks, and watching many of their more liked customers receive coffee drinks, full course meals, danishes, etc... We came to the conclusion that "our kind" isn't welcomed here. Please spend your money elsewhere. read more

They have snarky attitudes, zero communication skills, and poor trade skills. The service is declining, and the new girls have no idea how to make espresso drinks. They are not consistently trained, so one girls makes a drink differently than another, making the experience a guessing game if the drink will be good, accurate or even what I ordered. Simple requests seem to confuse the girls, such as "an extra shot of espresso, please" or "Please don't heat up the muffin." Also, they are more concerned with talking to each other than doing their jobs, and they communicate poorly with customers. They rush through an order, too, making the customer feel unwelcome. I wouldn't risk coming here if you like consistency and a smile (or a brain) from the workers. read more

The coffee is good when it is made correctly but they are very inconsistent. I also order a double shot because I feel the coffee is weak! Some days it tastes like flavored water. They buy their muffins from Sam's. So disappointing! When they made them in house they were amazing! Service is EXTREMELY slow and not very friendly! I really enjoy French Press. I mostly only go there for the drive thru, so that is what this review is based on. They are very prompt with ordering and always have a smile on their face. I love all of the different flavors of coffee they have and they change all of the time. Remember your favorites...they will recreate them even if they aren't on the menu! Some of the sweeter flavors are VERY sweet...might want to tell them to do one pump of syrup instead of 20. It's one of the few places that still has a loyalty punch card. When you fill it up, you get a coffee of your choice, size of your choice. They also give you a free drink of choice on your birthday! Be on the lookout for coupons I the Clipper magazines as well. Their food is definitely not the best, and neither are their pastries. If you are looking for you are looking for your caffeine fix and Starbucks isn't doing it for you, French Press is a great alternative. read more

I have been here many times and most of the baristas are really nice. Bailey-not so much. She is consistently rude and last time I went ( Tuesday evening), she handed me my drink (hot coffee) and didn't utter a WORD. Just walked away. This is her modus operandi and she needs to GO. The other baristas are all very friendly, ESPECIALLY Krissy and AnnaLee who have gone way out of their way to make sure I'm happy with whatever drink I order. AnnaLee, especially no matter how busy she is smiles and talks to me. Before I enter FrenchPress, I really wish for the negative one to not be working That's ashame, when 1 employee can cause for a business to get negative reviews; but Baily is extremely rude and consistently ugly towards the customer. Other customers have told me the same thing-that she is rude consistently. Once when she was cleaning, she bumped into me so hard, that I had a shooting pain where she bumped into me, and she didn't say 1 word. Not an apology or even an acknowledgment that she bumped into me. Here's a thought Bailey: if you're going to physically hurt your customers: at least apologize!!!! She needs to learn that without the customer , she wouldn't have a job. She doesn't belong in customer service. French Press: please educate Baily in customer service. Your business IMO would be perfect if she would learn the basics like when handing a customer the drink they ordered to SPEAK; a thank you goes a long way. When you're working quickly and bump into a customer, APOLOGIZE!!! Real basics here! Unbelievably rude individual. Have Baily watch how AnnaLee and Krissy handle the customers. I literally go here everyday. I love it. The staff is always nice and they are great with regulars the coffee is so rich in flavor. It's cheaper than Starbucks and it has so much flavor you will realize how bland Starbucks flavors are. I've had lattes, lafreezes, espressos, bubble teas, and lunch here. If I could give 0 stars I would. Scalding Hot coffee was spilled all over my hands at the drive through window. The tops of both my hands are burned. The girl who spilled the coffee was very nice and apologetic. however the manager Bailey was rude and said it comes with the territory of ordering hot coffee from the drive up window. Cashier was extremely rude and insisted on calling out to other customers while taking our order. The other employee seemed to be put out since she had to get off of her phone to actually do her job. Besides the serious attitude problems the staff had, the food was fairly good. Just a note, to the staff....you shouldn't roll your eyes at the customer then expect a tip. The wait is quite long (either in shop or drive through) but I'd say worth the wait. I frequent here every Friday and order my la freeze with an extra shot and the girls get it spot on every time. They also know how to keep their customers by giving a free coffee on your birthday. Keep up the good French Press, Starbucks has nothing on you. read more

The food and drinks are top notch and the service is normally good. Tonight the service was best described as distracted. The young woman who took my order was flirting with another woman who took an extra five minutes after ordering, the top half of her tatooed body hanging over the counter as she played with her phone. When she finally moved to the part of the counter where you wait for your order, I placed my order and paid with a ten dollar bill. The girl forgot to give me my change because she was in a state of euphoria having just spoken to someone she was clearly smitten with. My wife got her drink right away since it was a regular coffee but mine had to be made since it was a Lafreeze. The girl forgot my drink. Ten minutes went by, other came and got served, also people at the drive thru got served. During this time my drink was not made but the girl did take time out to go hug her friend and exchange "I love you's" with her. Then she went to another table of people she knew and said "that is her!" That is her! My wife asked about the drink and was told..yes the other girl is making it. A few minutes later I went to the other girl and reminded her I have been waiting 15 minutes and she said "yes she just told me and I'm going to make it now" So I got my drink around the time my wife was nearly finished with hers. Then we both drank for a minute and someone else walked in and sat down with smiles and giggles for that same person behind the counter. That is when we left. So the people here saying the service is hit or miss, I guess that's the kind of thing they were talking about! read more
