Evolve is a great place to study or meet up with a friend! Very calming but not too quiet, so you can still experience the cafe music! I came on a Saturday evening and it was somewhat busy. There are a handful of chairs and most of them were occupied when I initially went inside. The worker was very nice and greeted me very kindly. I originally wanted to order the Pandan Matcha, but was unfortunately informed that they no longer serve it... So I ordered an Iced White Chocolate Matcha instead and was quite disappointed. I expected it to be a bit in the sweeter side, but it was instead very lackluster in flavor.

Had an early morning flight into New Orleans and wanted a match before heading out to a golf tournament. When I arrived at 7:30am the cafe was empty with plenty of seating. There was soft music playing and workers were super friendly. I ordered the seasonal maple matcha and it was 100/10. Please note that the cafe does get busy around 8:30am.

Was excited to try this after seeing some good reviews but it was a let down for me. Tried the iced matcha latte and iced honey lavender latte and both were just mediocre. I asked if the matcha was sourced from Japan and I wasn't given a clear answer so I don't even know where they get it from. The matcha flavor itself was on the borderline of being bitter/earthy. When they asked about what milk to use I said just give me the what is normally included. I was then told that it typically comes with whole milk but they were out of it. So I was given other options and selected oat milk. But then I was charged extra for the oat milk even though they were out of whole milk I would've given a 2/5 rating but I do like the decor inside the store so I will bump it up to 3/5.

Great tasting ceremonial matcha spot, no clumps and i got the lavender matcha latte so there was nice hints of the lavender with the matcha. The barista was kind and the space was quiet and seemed like a good spot to study or catch up with a friend.

Great place to get Matcha around the New Orleans area. I got the holly Berry Matcha latte and it was very good. I had a kick and spice to it, which was very unique. I would come back!

Really nice spot! The inside is laid back and modern. The cashier during the evening of 4/8/24 was so cool! She's so friendly and welcoming. The lavender matcha was smooth and fragrant! I want another one right now! LOL. It wasn't overly sweet either, which was a plus for me! Give this place a try if you enjoy matcha.

I was visiting my friend in NOLA recently and was looking for coffee shops to visit in the mornings. I saw how cute this place was online and had to come here. I always love it when a shop has lavender or rose flavored items so this spot definitely caught my eye while I was browsing. I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte and my friend got the Lavender Matcha Latte. Both were so tasty and refreshing. Staff was so friendly and drinks came out pretty quick. Great place to catch up with a friend or do some work/study. Ambiance is so cozy and cute - great lighting, pretty decor with greenery.

Lavender Matcha Iced Latte Stopped in to try the coffee. Saw the lavender matcha latte on the menu that I had to try. I'm a sucker for lavender in my coffee so why not try my matcha. Opt'd for oak milk and it was delish Super fast to make the order and friendly staff. Modern design but cozy as well. I marked this on down as a revisit when in the area.

New favorite coffee shop!! The one on Harrison avenue is brand new and so cute. My coffees have been literally some of the best iced coffee ever. It's always super quick. Just wish they had a drive through. Going to end up spending too much money here.

This place is an unassuming haven for a matcha enthusiast. I really enjoyed the array of options listed as well as fun summer drink offerings which I took advantage of. The London glow and rose matchas are true to form - noticeable but no overpowering/conflict of scents happening here. I really enjoyed my interaction with the barista, Key, who helped us settle on our choices based off our personal preferences. My friend and I were both pleased and would make the drive out to this cozy spot again. They certainly do matcha justice

Cozy place to read/study. There is music playing, but it isn't too loud and I can still focus. Get the pandan matcha while it's still here

Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

Why doesn't every single coffee shop offer the tiny ice cubes? They keep your drink cold, while they don't take a ton of volume away from your coffee! I love the chicory flavor of this coffee! It's naturally nutty and a tiny bit chocolatey without any syrups. This area at Whole Foods has some yellow bar stools for seating options. I ordered Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with oat milk and I am not the biggest fan of it. There was a weird sour after taste to the coffee which I am unsure where it is coming from. I imagine if it was a little sweeter, it may have been more enjoyable. When I sat down to start on some work, I tried to connect to the cafe wifi, having seen the password posted on a sheet of paper near the counter. The wifi gave me and my friend a couple issues when trying to connect. After about 5-10 minutes of errors and no internet signals, we decided to use out hotspots. We were eventually able to use the wifi after maybe 30 minutes, so if you are able to find a connection, it is fine but if you are unable to, it can be frustrating.
