LE CUTEST! I can't remember the last time I was in a boutique where I wanted literally every piece of their inventory. French Toast has a lot of precious kid-friendly things, but there is plenty for grown-ups to covet, too. They have an awesome selection of chic party-planning goods, from invitations to plates and decor. To keep your child sophisticated and properly spoiled, buy them everything from French Toast. Most of the toys are handmade -- they even had a vintage Madeline tea party set! I am totally stocking up on stationery & gifts here next time I'm in Spokane. I can't believe I have lived in Spokane for over two years and never stopped in this gorgeous gem of a shop. This is a children's store that is the perfect place to purchase a gift. They have a wonderful selection of high quality toys, infant clothing, nursery decorations and party decorations. I love their collection of children's books and am already planning on purchasing my daughter a beautiful wooden tea set from here as a Christmas present. The shopkeeper was so friendly and warm that it made my entire experience delightful. read more

Happened upon this shop during a recent visit with a friend. Since both of my daughters are pregnant, and have upcoming shapers, it naturally was great timing. Found so many cute and fun gifts for babies and even my other grands. Unique gifts for babies and toddlers. However, I found my "finds" were going to max out my suitcase situation. But, nothing to worry about there! They were willing to ship for me and quickly found me the least expensive shipping method. My purchases arrived the day after I did. A far cry from the children's megastore with generic products, French Toast is fun for adults too, with the pastel color palettes, unique toys and books, and adorable decorations for parties. I do a lot of "oooh that's so cuuuuute" in this shop. They supply Rifle Paper Co goods in addition to a good selection of other attractive greeting cards. Have bought a few different baby & toddler gifts over the years, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

French toast has an adorable selection of unique and high quality children's gifts. (It's like Etsy and Pinterest had a love child). They have become my go-to boutique for when I need perfect baby shower and children's party gifts. I know I can find something really special and non-tacky here. The prices are good and you can't find these items anywhere else in Spokane. I especially applaud them on their stuffed animal and book selections! Cutest store ever. Now has an adult home and clothing room! So kids shop and I shop at the same store. Also has a stationary room with a lot of neat diy kits. I bought an embroidery kit as a Christmas gift for my niece and saw they carry a calligraphy how-to, so that's next for me. I got myself a 2019 Kate Spade journal in that gorgeous Tiffany color. The new home section is actually affordable decor. I was imagining everything would be super expensive but lots in the $40 and under range. The adult clothes are classic and trendy. Very Instagram worthy. As a plant lady, I was super excited about the brass accents and will go back soon. I'm so excited for their new venture into home goods. read more

This is actually a children's boutique with gorgeous paper goods. So lovely! I bought a Peter Rabbit cupcake kit as a gift for my girlfriend. This is the only place in Spokane I have seen these kits available. Great customer service and the owner told me she is expanding into the next space, so business must be booming. read more

Just a few blocks from the Davenport hotel. I was able to pick up an adorable toy specifically for twin babies (as I am expecting twins this winter). I was very pleased to find such an item as toys specifically for twins are rare. They also had a great selection of toys and gifts for all ages. I picked up an adorable super teddy bear for my cousin's one-year-old. They had a batman teddy bear too! Great variety, lots of fun items to browse. I hate to give a fairly new boutique bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience. The boutique carries a wonderful selection of specialty toys, decor and clothing- mostly French. I fear this boutique won't be around long if they don't get used to having kids in their store. The owner was very unfriendly. What kind of small boutique in Spokane is doing so well that they don't want to sell you new fall merchandise yet even though it's sitting out. Customer service or forget being in business! read more
