I like the vibe of this place! The space is very artistic and aesthetic, making it a great spot to hang out. I tried their cold brew, and it was excellent. My only regret was that I arrived too close to closing time, so I didn't get a chance to order anything else. Unassuming coffee shop. Not pretentious. They have a few basic good coffees (American, cappuccino, latte, etc) one or two nice iced coffees. A nice selection of hot and iced teas, and a very limited food offering (some pastry, very light bites). Not cheap, but on par with starbucks. Coffee is very good and strong but not bitter. I came for coffee & conversation around 9 a.m. Saturday morning so it waa somewhat quiet in the concourse. I did not order food just iced matcha with almond milk and caramel syrup. As with all iced coffees a bit too much ice but overall taste and flavor was very good. The staff was nice and offered suggestions. My crew had breakfast crossiant sandwichws and they looked amazing. I absolutely positively love this place, the atmosphere is really nice and the people are really sweet especially the young lady who wears a hijab, give her a raise! My only gripe is the dollar of charge for oat milk and it's seven dollars plus tip almost $10 for a latte that was not filled up all the way to the top. Stopped by here this morning for breakfast. This is located inside of the common building. There is parking available out front of building. It took us a minute to locate but I'm glad we found it. The coffee was wonderful. They roast their own beans on site and offer roasted beans for sale. They have a few breakfast and bakery items available to pair with your coffee. We had lattes, hazelnut for me and vanilla for the others. They have whole milk, almond milk or oat milk available. The building itself is really interesting. Filled with various businesses of all kinds. Seems to be an old mall turned food hall kinda of vibe. Great coffee, kind of hard to find. If you're in a hurry, maybe not the best option. Really enjoyed French Truck Coffee. Fun menu, high quality coffee beans, perfect little breakfast while I was in town for a work trip. They use the *good* ice in their iced lattes! The build-your-own biscuit sandwich was delicious - I added bacon and avocado, and they butter the biscuit with an incredible cinnamon honey butter (wish I could buy it). We decided to stop here this morning as we were making our way out of Memphis after a long weekend in the city. I wish we had stopped here sooner with more time to explore the Concourse! This refurbished building is a MUST SEE and I would have loved to experience it in full... next time! The coffee at French Truck Coffee was fantastic. I got the New Orleans iced coffee, which was perfect. Not too sweet and high-quality roasted coffee as the base. For breakfast I had the smoked salmon toast, which was served with the most delicious bread I've ever had! Highly recommend the dish. We also ordered an array of pastries and the yogurt with granola for our two year-old. I'm taking off a star because the yogurt and granola was certainly not worth the high price point and I think they could rethink some of their pricing on the food items. Overall, we will be back and will recommend this place to our friends who visit Memphis! read more

I first experience the deliciousness that is French truck when I was in New Orleans About 6 years ago. Recently I traveled to Memphis with my son and sister and was so pleased to find a location there! It's located in a food court of sorts in an old sears warehouse so the area is very spacious with really tall ceilings. They've really made the space beautiful. The coffee and pastries here are delightful. If you love chicory, be sure to get a latte with the chicory bean blend for a taste of New Orleans in Memphis! The NOLA iced coffee is very good, tho a bit pricey. Good coffee and service in a spacious lounge and pleasant atmosphere at the Crosstown Concourse. Becomes noisy around 3pm as schoolkids huddle around the area, so grab your coffee and find a quiet spot. read more

So I ordered a LARGE vanilla latte and the barista grabs a small little kiddy size cup. I asked her if that was a large, thinking maybe she misheard what size latte I wanted. She said yes, this is our large cup for lattes!! WHAT??!! No, that cup size is not a large, it's a child size cup. I almost canceled my order but figured I already paid, I'll just go with it. On top of giving me a small but calling it a "large", my latte cost almost $7! The latte did taste good, I will give them props for a delicious latte. I love supporting local coffee shops over Starbucks, however, charging almost $7 for a small latte and telling me it's a large, I am not ok with. I wasn't too impressed with this coffee shop after I heard about it quiet a bit from many friends. I tried their specialty Japanese cold coffee and a Sumatran pour-over coffee. Both coffees were okay. The coffee didn't have a complex flavor to it but tasted just like a Starbucks generic stuff. They didn't have an option of crafted coffee drinks either. I typically enjoy an occasional flavored cappuccino, but lack of this option for a weekend brew keeps me from going back. read more

I tried the oji coffee, New Orleans coffee, and the iced latte and none of them disappointed.
