Honestly, there's so many donut places in the city but this place hits for me. I prefer the cake style donuts instead of the airy ones from Tim hortons. These are so good. And they make them fresh. They were warm when we ate them and melted in your mouth. You can also make them how you like them so it's all personalized. Service was great!

Place is "just ok". Nothing to write home to mama about. What makes this place unique I guess is that they make the donuts on the spot right in front of you. They have a variety of flavors available, but you can also custom make your own doughnut. Since it's close to Halloween, they had Halloween themed donuts available as well. Prices are more reasonable than most gourmet doughnut places. Staff were friendly and the place was really clean. No lineups, but I did go on a Sunday afternoon.

Love the concept of this cute little doughnut shop! The doughnuts are dipped freshly and you can customize your dips! I ended up getting the favorites and out of the 6 I got I really like the maple bacon, margarita (tangy), raspberry lemonade (sour and sweet) and blueberry cheesecake was amazing. I thought the dough would be dense and cakey but it was moist and not too dry!

I saw that Frenchie's doughnuts was a new establishment and I just had to check it out. I ordered a dozen doughnuts with one of each kind of their popular flavours. The doughnuts are freshly made and prepared for you as you wait. They still felt warm and honestly, all the favours were delicious. I highly recommend checking out Frenchie's if you are in the neighbourhood. Ps. They also have merchandise and bagged coffee for sale which you can browse while you wait.

Doughnuts taste too greasy and the icing on top is way too sweet. Price is average for gourmet doughnuts but I don't think I will go back...

The Short Version: California style donuts, big and fluffy…read more I'm a fan. The Long Version: So Harry and Heels is a donut shop inside the Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria. The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

Ordered: Apple Fritter (CAD ~$5)…read more Aya's take: Located inside the pizzeria, Harry & Heels is cranking out California-style donuts. As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!
