If I could give ZERO stars I would. This place tries to come off as bougie and nontoxic, but they are far from that. First of all they do not offer any dip manicures so I settled for a gel manicure with my friend. We are mom's to newborns and it's hard to get away and we were excited to try a new place, but it was a complete disappointment. They do not soak your nails. They just push back the cuticle dry and everything is extra. The manicure lasted about 20 minutes and I still have lots of dead skin and cuticles for $60. This is disgusting!!!! How is this place still in business? I was the only person in there! And my 50$ basic manicure was absolutely nothing special. The nail tech was nice, but she didn't appear super happy to be there .IF a business is going to ask premium prices for a service, that service needs to be better than the competition. It's not. I continuously go here for the cleanliness. I really like the practices they employ with respect to sanitation, only using files/buffers once, etc. and for that reason alone, I would continue to recommend this salon. But I've had more than one dissatisfying experiences with respect to skill level. Some of the techs are are excellent, but they also seem to hire a lot of younger/newer techs, and I've had some truly abysmal work done. The first time it happened I didn't really say anything at the salon bc I wasn't comfortable, but I did fill out the survey, and the manager offered to fix it for free, but I just didn't have the time. I figured it was a fluke. The second time it happened it was so bad that I knew I had to speak up, so I did ask the tech if it was possible to get some help finishing up the job. This went poorly. I later tried writing the manager to notify him of the experience because the tech just had no idea what she was doing and it created a stressful experience for her and for me, but the manager did not respond that time. I really don't complain often but the skill level was so severely lacking I genuinely wondered whether this tech had ever filed nails before, and as she was guided by a colleague it was like she was learning for the first time. I have never experienced anything like that and I was disappointed that it seems management isn't taking it seriously. So the lesson I have learned is that when booking here, it is critical to book with a tech who has experience. I recommend Tierney or Huma, as both have been excellent. read more

I've been coming here for awhile now- maybe over a year. They just came under new owner/management and I LOVE everything about the transition. The new owner is so sweet, and warm, and inviting- she has been here every time I come to welcome me, ask if I want a warm neck wrap, and introduces herself to everyone coming in the door. They just got new polish and are now offer all toxic free polish which I love! Plus, with them getting rid of OPI, they added a TON of new colors, the polishes wrap around the wall. I've come to Soyol for my pedicures a couple of times now and her massages are so good! She really gets into those tired sore feet and makes them feel rejuvenated. I also love that they do not have the bowls with jets- they truly take safety and cleanliness to the next level. I moved 30 minutes away from this location but will gladly drive over here to get my nails and toes done every time. read more

I have waited to write this review because I really needed to decide how I felt. I called to make an appointment and inquired if they will dig out ingrown toenails. They stated they would unless they were super bad, so I said great and scheduled. The atmosphere is great. I loved the clean feeling inside. The pedicure tubs are nice and they don't have the typical drain like others, but a drain at the bottom, if I recall. My stylist was really nice. But I could tell from the way she handled the clippers that she was newer; she didn't seem as confident or fluent with them as a seasoned technician. But everyone has a first day! Apparently my ingrowns are "deep," and she called over someone else to help. Instead of digging them out, they used the file of the tool to file away the ingrown. I thought this was novel and hoped it would work, even though I had never had that before. My toes were painted really well, but I had to go through a couple colors - I have learned that the lighter/neon colors are not the best because they are runny and don't fill in well. My issue was when it got to the manicure, there was no water. It was done while my hands were dry. This has happened at another salon, so I'm unsure if this is a Denver thing or a new method? Regardless, I do not like it. But again, it was my first time, so I thought maybe this was the new way of doing things. It is difficult to snip cuticles if they are dry; it leaves marks and pieces of skin that are sticking up (imagine a small piece of skin that you can catch on clothing or the like). Fortunately, I chose a darker color for my fingernails, so they were ok. Overall, this place is definitely nice. I like the pedicure tubs. But I probably will not return. The total was $110, plus $20 for tip. I think this place is for people with perfect nails that need little to no sculpting. read more

I brought my wife in for a prevacation treat and fell in love with this place. This is not your typical "nail salon". They start out your treatments by first giving you a tour of the facility. They point out how all the tools are single use for cleanliness. The next thing they showed us was that the footbaths are not the jetted tubs that most place have do to the inability to keep them clean. Finally our tour concluded by showing us the medical grade autoclave that is used to disinfect the clippers or other metal tools. I have to say that this tour appealed to my inner germaphobe and put my mind at ease before our treatments. Overall this place is strikingly cleaner than any other nail salon I have ever seen. It is more of a spa than it is a nail joint. Today was a Sunday and the crew was all singing along to the 80's tunes they picked for the day. I opted to go all-in with the Ulitmate Pedicure that not only included the customary toenail cutting and shaping. Along with cleaning up my cuticles then using a single use file to smooth off my heels and balls of my feet. My pedicure included a mouse that hydrated my feel while being wrapped in hot towels. My wife is still getting her toes painted and is also going to get her nails done while I am posting this. Great place! We'll be back. read more

Had a nice experience at Frenchie's in Lone Tree. Booking online was easy and there were many times available. My nail tech was the right amount of talkative. She reminded me a few times to let her know if anything hurt. Love that you get to choose from signature scents for scrubs and lotions, a nice touch. It was tough to choose one! It is a different experience than other salons because their focus is being clean, they don't rush you but also don't have 20 ladies working. Which gives it a more relaxing feel. If you go for mani/pedis just for massage chairs, know they don't have them, but they have heated neck wraps and other add ons depending on what service you select. Would def return! read more

My husband bought me a $100 gift card to this place. I booked an appointment for a gel manicure and used almost the entire gift card. I was also charged for a CBD treatment that I never received. One hand had 2 coats of polish while the other only had one so the whole thing looks awful now. I will never come back here. Expensive and have had better treatments and manicures for a lot less at other places. There are too many options out there for this to happen. read more

Three-year customer here, longer than any of the staff and the current owners. Halfway through my pedicure that was supposed to include polish, the senior nail tech, whom I always request, gets up without explanation and brings the salon manager over, to look at a 1/4 inch callus on the bottom of my foot. This was orchestrated with no explanation to me. They informed me that the callus was a health risk to the tech, and therefore, they were terminating my service. Just like that. So I go gather my shoes and belongings, proceed to the register, where I was charged full price, $50, for a pedicure without polish. The front desk informs me as I'm ready to leave that I can schedule another appointment if I still wanted polish. Really! Fun thing is, Frenchies mentions callus removal on their yelp business profile, and I didn't request callus removal. I shared this story with my podiatrist, who was astounded. Not sure who's running this place, haven't seen the owners there in ages. When I first started coming to the Lone Tree Frenchies, it was fantastic. They had several really exceptional nail techs and a great vibe. Sorry to see the decline in service. read more

I have been contemplating this review for more than a week because I really enjoyed my experience with my nail tech at Frenchies. I am super disappointed at the way the whole thing went down with my checkin and checkout however. I walked in to the salon after having difficulty booking on their online site. They were able to fit me in (I knew they had this availability since I was trying to book it online) which was great. I found Frenchies through an instagram add that was promoting a 40% off coupon. I confirmed this when I checked in and showed the coupon to two people at the front desk. They both said "that's great" enthusiastically and helped me pick an upgraded pedicure since I had the great discount. I had a good experience with my pedicure and my tech was very nice. I even opted for some nail art that was done pretty well. The negatives with the service are that the polish selection is really tiny, the "tour" they give you to begin with is a little strange when they show you the laundry/work room and the attention to detail on my nail art was lacking. Upon checkout I was greeted by what appeared to be the manager or the owner. She promptly told me that my coupon was no good and showed me in the small print that the 40% off was only good if I brought a friend with me. She offered me $5 off as new customer. I was very upset. I certainly would not have opted for the deluxe services and nail art if I had not been assured at check-in that my coupon was good. My mistake for not reading the small print, but shame on the manager/owner for not honoring what was confirmed when I started the process. Due to the unfortunate management, I will not return to this business. I will not be recommending it to my friends. read more

Due to the front desk/manager whomever checking out and scheduling another guest for a future appointment as well as her daughter and whoever else. Very insufficient use of time. I don't care about hearing about your pitch/sale. Was also told the seaweed polish wasn't an available option to me being a first time guest. The manicure was a basic shelliac manicure. C down? Well that the only way you can book. Well no it's not I booked it but thank you. She found me etc.... Proceeded to tell me again about there cancellation policy. I SWEAR IF THEY SAY THAT ONE MORE TIME I got a confirmation via text. FINE... Them a telephone call leaving a message confirming appointment and reviewing policy AGAIN I cancelled my appointment I was so irritated about the way they do business. No other establishment does this. Salon,Wax,Botox,Nails etc. Maybe you should earn your customers loyalty before you start throwing cancellation policies around and asking for C.C. I didn't even put one down so really what are you going to do!!! Ridiculous. Plus I heard they are nothing great! I made a sameday 4:15 appointment.; I left work early and rushed there but I was 8 minutes late. upon entering the salon I see the front desk girl talking to the nail technician (not acknowledging me), when the front desk girl does walk over she imforms me I'm 10 minutes late. I told her I was 8 minutes and i tonight was the only time. (because I have surgery toMorrow...I didn't tell her that but that is why I couldn't reschedule). She proceeds to call the owner who she can't get ahold of. then the nail technician walks over on her way out for the day, they share a giggle and the front desk girl says "we have to reschedule". i storm out as they laughed at me. I did not like the experience at this nail salon. I got a deluxe pedicure with Ema. For me, the caveat to a deluxe is the extended massage which Frenchies lists in their description. However my massage was 6 min total and felt more like she was rubbing in the lotion rather paying attention my arches, ball of my feet, and heels even after i called her attention to these areas. When asked, how is everything looking and feeling? I said, i thought the massage would've been longer and she chuckled. I appreciate the cleanliness but it was not a relaxing experience. read more

Seriously the best mani/pedi I have ever had! I visited Frenchies for the first time last week with my daughter. We both had gel manis and regular pedis. A week later both are looking fantastic despite packing, moving, unpacking, and spending days on the beach and in the yard doing yard work. So impressed! Nice nail experience. Started with cup of tea and a lavender neck pillow. Was impressed to learn about the non jetted tubs protecting from bacteria. As well as they have a commercial sanitizer (forget proper name) for their tools. I've had bad experiences with cleanliness in the past so I loved these practices at frenchies. Non toxic polishes were great color choices. When it was time to wash my hands I loved!!! The scrub they use. Apparently it's supporting another local business. This natural scrub made my hands feel amazing for days. I definitely picked some up to go. They also had a good products that's helping me with dry Colorado nail breakage. They have a nice selection of products to take home for in between Maintanence. I've been a couple times now and the shaping of my nails and cleaning up was well done and consistent. I had scheduled a classic pedicure which was supposed to be 45 minutes, per the website. The nail technician finished in 30 minutes, yet I was charged full price. Wow!! I love this place!! Helen was my technician for my pedicure, and she was so gentle and kind. The products they use are mostly made locally, and are fantastic. They offer a nail club, so if you will have regular services in their salon, that's the way to go. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and will sign up for their club package at that time. 12-18-19 Update: Paul from Frenchies had reached out to me and asked me to give Frenchies another try. Paul reached out to me right after I posted and apologized for the lack of attention to my text feedback last year. This update and my reflected change in the review are based on the contrast between those two visits. The delay for me to come in a second time is related to a recent injury and my inability to have a pedicure. So my foot was a bit more sensitive and still swollen for this visit. The second visit couldn't have been more different than the first. Kelly was amazing. Not only did she do a thorough job, but I also noticed more steps in this pedicure than that the previous technician left out. She did an amazing job with my injured foot and I will be coming back again. Thank you for reaching out. Original Review: 11/2019: This was a very annoying visit for me. My wife gave me this as a present and the lady who did my service was just ok. She didn't do the full service, I had to remind her of things she forgot, pointing to the original description. The whole time she talked about the membership. So good job Frenchies, you hired a salesperson who does an ok job at pedicure and a poor job at following instructions. I was so annoyed that I even filled out a survey telling them how awful my service was. See below for the copy that I sent them. To date, I have received no response so I'm trying this feedback too. I gave it a 2/10 on their own survey that they sent me but took my feedback and chose not to follow up.
