Pretty good, the pricing was pretty fair for the quality. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure seemed a little rushed and she didn't help my ingrown toe nails as much as I am used to with other salons. Everything else about the pedicure was good though! No complaints about the gel manicure other than the lady seemed annoyed (maybe not with me but just in general). She spent a long time filing my nails to make sure they were all even which I really appreciated. Music was good but I wish they had some TVs (it was kinda awkward vibes sitting there staring at nothing as neither of the ladies made conversation with me). Had to pull out my own toe dividers at the end. Was not offered water. Just a few hospitality things to work on but the actual services provided were good. I tried this place again based on good reviews and thinking that they have better nail techs now. I saw Amber due to good reviews. From the moment I sat down she seemed unhappy that I was there. I asked her to do the pedicure first so it can dry while I get a gel manicure and she asked me if I brought flip flops. I said no, usually the salon gives it to me. She said to me "well maybe next time you'll be more prepared"! I was shocked! First of all why would I sit there for extra time to get my toenails to dry when we can just do that first and it's winter time with ice and snow outside, I'm not wearing flip flops back to my car. She said she is already settled in her chair for the mani. At that point I should have stood up and left, but I brushed it off. The next 1.5 hours she continued to snap at me for no reason, I couldn't make any comments about my nails or what I wanted. She didn't check in with me at all to ask if I like the shape, and when I told her my cuticles are sensitive and to please use the cuticle clipper instead of the machine she said she is machine based and just left my cuticles as is without using the clipper. At the end one of the nails was crooked and one had something in it. She apologized at yelling at me and said a bunch of complete nonsense right before we were done. This was a super stressful experience. $105 for gel mani and regular pedi and 1.5 hours of being verbally abused by Amber! read more

I've visited 5280 many times and always had a great experience. Their dip and gel last forever before chipping.

I went in for a acrylic removal and gel x extensions, I booked for medium length which I asked to be cut down maybe half an inch because they were much longer than I had thought they would be. I have never gotten gel x before and had no idea medium was what I typically viewed as long. The acrylic removal was fine, however she did go very deep on the side of my middle finger and cut me a bit and the top of my ring finger was also caught. However, those things are to be expected so that's not my main issue. When I asked her to cut down my nails, she wasn't necessarily rude, but I could tell she was a bit annoyed and had told me to request short next time. Which is my fault, so I don't blame her. I also asked for a sharp, very square looking shape. Not only were some of my nails crooked, they're rounded at the edges and the polish is very bumpy where the french tip is and the pink-ish color is uneven. The establishment itself was very clean and nice looking. I would return, but I am going to try and request another tech to try and get what I wanted. read more

This cute boutique salon is located in a prime location, convenient street parking as well as parking in the back. The staff here are all really great and sweet. I booked two mani and pedi services for my bf and I. Christina did my gel pedicure, I originally wanted to request her for both of my services however she was booked and only had availability for one. I for one am not the easiest client to please when it comes to my nails, since I use to be a nail tech myself, so every salon I go to I am always checking for sanitation, quality services, as well as quality products. This salon has checked off all of the boxes! Christina and Jen (I'm like 99% sure that's her name but still 1% doubtful of myself) provided quality services! I love a good cuticle job, perfect shaping, and perfect polishing aka to the T. (Close to the cuticle as possible without touching the cuticle.) The salon was clean and organized and they have an abundant of colors to choose from. The restroom is a shared space with the rest of the retail shops, so do ask so that you don't get lost! After coming here for two years consistently I was beyond dissatisfied with the level of service I received tonight. Came in with my sister for a pedicure and observed the stylist taking care of my sisters deluxe pedicure bark orders at her in a condescending way. Each time she was to raise or lower her foot/leg the staff member shouted loudly in derogatory terms like nothing I've seen before. The overall vibe and energy of this place was that we were a bother to them. Maybe it had something to do with the fact we were their last of the night and they were met with grouchy people all day - but we were beyond pleasant trying to make positive small talk met with a wall of negativity. 5280 I will not be back - customer service still matters. When I initially walked out with the extensions my nails felt "heavy" but I quickly got used to the sensation. (I typically do not get acrylic or gel extensions so it was a new sensation!) Went here to get my nails done for a wedding. I will say the service was very, very good. I almost always leave salons feeling like something could have been done better or like they didn't listen, but not here! Exactly as I wanted and matched the inspo picture I showed. However, I do feel like the price point is higher than I expected or would be comfortable paying again, hence 4 out of 5 stars. As much as I loved the service, I can't justify spending $85 on a set of dips (before gratuity) even infrequently.... So I will be searching for another place. After reading wonderful reviews of 5280 Nails, it was easy to book Deluxe Pedicures for us for my daughter's birthday. I booked with two technicians and actually got one that I had booked and one I hadn't. Fortunately my daughter got Huey who was attentive, friendly and thorough. When we arrived, we were asked to wash our hands and then pick out colors. There was only one other customer and she was getting a manicure. We were directed to two chairs at the end next to each other. The salon seemed clean and was bright and airy. I tried to get a massage setting I liked on the chair but couldn't so I turned it off. My tech - Junior - offered to help but it wasn't a big deal so I left it off. Junior was very nice but didn't do enough with my calluses. Huey worked on my daughter's for a good 10 minutes - with the tool we call a "cheese grater". Junior didn't use that on me and the hot stone part of my pedi was about 1 minute. He did spend more time with the sugar scrub and it all felt great. The polish is perfect and I felt relaxed when we left. I definitely recommend 5280 Nails and will be going back. read more

I've been here 4 times now. The first couple of times, I had an excellent pedicure with Han, and a less than satisfactory manicure with Amy. So I stopped doing manicures with them and tried just scheduling pedicures. Unfortunately, even though I scheduled a third pedicure with Han and (just today) a fourth with Kelly, I was helped both times by Amy, who is very nice, but is not a good nail tech. Here's why I say that: She hurt me when removing a callus, then stopped altogether, so now my toe hurts but the soles of my feet still have dead skin. My cuticles were not trimmed or thinned out, the polish is wonky, the edges are uncleaned and I didn't even get an actual massage in my "luxe pedicure". The last 2 times I also had to wait over 10 minutes to be helped even though I had an appointment, so maybe Amy covers when they are running late. Either way, I did not get what I paid for! The receptionist did offer to have someone fix my polish, but honestly, I don't trust them to get someone other than Amy, and that's just NOT happening again! read more

I frequent 5280 nails & lash about twice a month, and I generally enjoy my time there. The shop is clean and modern looking, and the people are really sweet! I will say, for the amount of money you spend on a manicure, you should be getting an arm/shoulder massage or perhaps a paraffin wax treatment. I do like that they do a punch card where you can choose between a free classic pedicure or $25 off the service of your choice after 10 visits. I would give Christina 10 stars if I could. She's personable and efficient, and she goes out of her way to make your experience better.
