This is a hole in a wall type of spot, but it does have a drive through. We wanted a spot to eat fried chicken (not fast food) and we decided to give them a try. It a small spot with like 3 tables inside. Young lady that is always in the front is pleasant, but the owner is not the friendliest. Prices are pretty affordable and you can get a lot. **they are a halal certified spot. We tried the chicken wings, fried chicken legs, chicken gizzards and corn fritters. However this time I ordered the large corn nuggets and received the regular size corn nuggets. This is a mom and pop restaurant right across the street from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. We stopped by to get something to eat before we stopped at the stadium for Jazz In The Garden. At first I was going to order a salad but changed my mind and got the shrimp and fries instead. I must say that these was the best jumbo shrimp that I've ever had! We used Fresh Catch Fish and Chicken to cater a family gathering and I am impressed with the friendly and professional service we received. Mohammed was top notch! He was extremely responsive during the back and forth phone calls and other correspondence. His prices were great compared to others and especially the amount of food for the price. We ordered Fried Chicken (mixed pieces), large pan of Mac and cheese, Small pan of grouper (fried) and a pan of coleslaw. My family enjoyed the food. The chicken was golden brown and seasoned well, the Mac n cheese (though not what I would consider true southern style) was baked with a crust and tasted decent. The grouper was really good (breaded in cornmeal) and the coleslaw was sweet (similar to KFC style). All in all, the entire experience was very good and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for other events we may have. After purchasing two piece, grouper and french fries, once home, we noticed that one piece of the fish was hard to chew and swallow. We realize that the fish had been re-purposed. Also, the french fries were re-fried. I called to speaking with the manager, I was asked to bring the food back to the restaurant. When I arrive, the manager looked at the food, and say this is the color that the food should look like. I said sir, your food is not fresh, your Cook (as I pointed him out sold it to me) and probably didn't want to waste the food. Your cook sold me old food. The manager was shocked, but then proceeded to call the cook who remembered selling me the bad food. I said to The manager he's not going to admit to wrong doing he wants his job. The manager tried to turn it back on us and was told As a manager you should know what's going on and stop blaming customers for your incompetent cooks.
