I don't know what it is about kosher restaurants but whyyyyyy are they always lacking. The burgers are fine. Loved the smash sauce. The blooming onion was soggy. I ordered the titan tortilla and added caramelized onion. There wasn't a single onion, the chicken was so dry it may as well have been sand, and there was no sauce in it at all. Disgusting. They also have personalized coloring book pages and crayons for guests to do which is a nice touch. The menu has many options to choose from. Our table got the chance to try some of the popular food items. We had the Philly cheez (no mushrooms by request), fries, a blooming onion, chicken tendies, jalapeño double burger, loaded smash, and I believe the spicy chicken. I would say one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! I've been here 2x yesterday and today. Double Smash Burger: 4/5 yesterday was out of this world. Perfect seasoning, not oily, just perfection. Today, my burger was dripping of oil . I had to remove the paper covering to use a napkin to soak out the grease. Fries: 5/5 was great! Crispy and pairs very well with the burger. Wings with sweet and chili sauce: 2/5 I was a bit disappointed with this order. They gave us a basket of wings, but the wish was not covered in sauce. From start to finish, disappointment is the only way to describe this meal. First off, there was trash on several tables in addition to the trash can being overflowing with zero effort from the staff to clean anything. That should've been our sign to leave but we were starving so we still gave them a chance. The next issue came when my burger arrived with onions piled high between the bun and patty. Mind you, I'm a simple girl when it comes to burgers - the cheese and patty will suffice. I did my best to pick off the mountain of onions so my burger would be edible but it seemed the seasoning/flavor was also lacking so it was "meh" at best. I visited Smash House last Thursday with two of my siblings for a late lunch. We'd all heard great things about the joint and were anxious to try these kosher burgers for ourselves. Once we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff and directed to a computer to select our options and place our order. We tried the Blooming Onion, a customized Double Smash, two customized Single Smash burgers, a side of cole slaw and two orders of Dirty Fries. The second order of Dirty Fries was complete overkill because we couldn't possibly eat that much in one sitting, but I got to take the leftovers home, so that was great! The blooming onion is served with a honey mustard sauce which paired really well with the onion. The burgers were fresh and tasty. Their vegan cheese is unreal. It was so good we asked about it. The cole slaw was also really good and had a unique flavor to it. I'd order it again. Overall, I'd say our favorite part of the meal was the Dirty Fries. They're topped with pulled brisket and their special sauce. Despite being covered in sauce, the fries were perfectly crispy. They also tasted just as good when reheated the following day. The only thing I'd change is that I'd prefer the burger bun be a bit softer and not as toasted, but that's a matter of preference. As far as service goes, it really couldn't have been any better. The staff even went out of their way to help us locate a kosher grocery nearby. By far the best kosher burger I have had in the United States. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the topping complimented the crispy patty. The onion side was great and delicious as well!!
