I received four estimates, but only three did site visits. Three of the estimates were over $4,000. My house was built in 1993. I've had the front soft washed and repainted three times since then. Each time the price was a little higher, but no where close to $4,000. Liberty Painting's price was very reasonable and no where near $4,000. We scheduled the work for the following week. Two painters arrived on time. We discussed the scope of work, which included soft washing the wood. They were both very friendly and did excellent work. They cleaned up the work area as promised. I am completely satisfied with the results. Before, during, and after the project communication was great. They did everything promised. I highly recommend Liberty Painting.

They closed all the holes in the walls (no more air coming in) where the old convectors were located; they repaired the flooring so that it looked seamless; and they installed baseboards to mask the gaps left by the new convectors, which were a slightly different size than the previous ones. (The convectors were installed by a different company, so they coordinated with them nicely). They also installed a brand-new lighting fixture on the bedroom ceiling (lots of concrete drilling involved), hung a metal shelf in the bathroom, and closed all the holes in the kitchen left by the previous contractor when the kitchen was remodeled. No more mice! Wonderful service, punctual, and would happily call again for anything else I may need.

I had my kitchen island outlets professionally replaced days before painting. The crew spray-painted completely into the electrical outlet. They didn't bother to put one piece of tape over it. The crew blamed me for this as they said I should have specifically said not to spray into my outlet. This is a potential fire hazard. When moving the fridge, my wood floors were massively damaged and scratched. They did not use any protection for the floors when moving my fridge but just on the bare floors. Even with the fridge on rollers, you have to be careful not to damage the floor as this is still a risk, and they severely harmed them. Blue paint was also found all over the walls and ceiling, which required touch-up paint, so make sure you have an extra gallon (I spent $160 for touch up paint and I am waiting to be reimbursed). Horrendous and messy paint lines were noticed along the cabinets. They made my home a health hazard when they vented the kitchen by opening the window and then opened the plastic entrance, resulting in blue paint dust to be sprayed all over the home. All the "prep" they installed was immediately voided when they decided to let air flow through the kitchen into my home. I am unbelievably unhappy from this. I only discovered this because this set off my fire alarm as I was sleeping. I asked "is there a fire?!" because I was terrified, and the workers ignored me. Do not ever withhold information from a homeowner if you set off their fire alarm. I almost called the fire department because I didn't know what was happening. The worker didn't communicate with me that there is paint dust aerosolizing everywhere in my home and I am currently breathing it in. There is blue dust everywhere, my home at the moment is severely dirty. As an asthmatic, I can barely breathe in my home at the moment. There is blue dust found in my upstairs, foyer, library, and anywhere that had a door open. I now must spend hours cleaning due to their insufficient prep and carelessness. Mark if the owner is unprofessional and is unable to own up to there mistake. The scratches on the floor directly match the wheels on the fridge and yet they say they didn't do it. I was charged $6295 and given no reduction in price due to my damaged floor and cleaning that are needed to my home.

The first job was a fancy faucet upgrade and plumbing job in the kitchen. The second was a basement lighting, electrical and garbage disposal replacement job. Both jobs were handled quick, fast, competently and with the best attention to detail. Initially, during the first visit, I was a bit nervous about hiring a handyman service for the job given I had bought a very expensive faucet and didn't want just anyone to screw it up. I figured a "big" plumbing company was the way to go, until I got their ridiculous quote for the job! In steps MCCS. MCCS handled the job like a pro, with no issues or damages/scratches to the faucet, cabinets or granite countertops....and at half the cost in comparison. During the last visit, Maryam performed the work herself and truthfully, I was amazed with her technical skill and knowledge to jump from completing plumbing work to figuring out a couple of electrical issues all in the same visit. As a small minority-women owned business, Maryam and her team has been a pleasure to work with. The communication and response time is fair and this is one company that has stayed consistent and on-time when scheduled.
