We have had Zip Moving and Storage now for two moves and have two more scheduled with them. We've…read morehad nothing but excellent customer service and support throughout both moves. They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

It wasn't intentional, but the amount of damage we saw was much more than what I would have been okay with. The furniture and location was difficult however given that everything made it to where they needed to be, I'm sure it could have been done much more carefully. That made this pretty mid tier service. So 3 stars. And that's what we initially put in our review. But then after putting in our claim on damages with ample proof of damages, and also our honest review, my wife received a call from one of the movers asking us to take down the poor review because they would get in trouble with the owners. Now I'm wondering goes on behind the scenes because the good reviews seems much more shady now. How many other reviews got asked to be taken down? They got the move done and did it relatively quick given the difficulty. The price was rather high given the quality of work completed. And given how quick they were to request us to take a poor review down to me deserves an even poorer review. Honestly, if they had taken accountability right away to the damages I would have felt better about a simple 3 star review. I can't in good conscience recommend Zip Moving and Storage.

Contacted Stamp Electric and they were out the next day…read more Lyndy Stamp called when he was on the way and asked a few questions to make sure he had everything on the truck. Turns out he did and showed up on time. Very professional, asked a few questions about the circumstances that may have caused the issue. Once on the scene he proceeded to check the outlets and determined that the wall switch that controlled the outlets had been turned off inadvertently. Turned the switch on and power restored. Lyndy was here about 15 minutes and would not charge me for the service call. In fact he wouldn't take any money. Most contractors charge you for a service call and travel time. Stamp Electric is a great company. I highly recommend them.

From the initial meeting to discuss our plans to the 3D rendering, the process was amazing. Matt and Kevin were so knowledgeable with Calvert County codes and regulations and offered a wonderful rendering to address the codes and safety! The price was fair and we plan on making them our go-to for our quoted project and many more projects! We love that they gave us a fair price upfront and didn't bargain with us once we said we could not do the project at that time. We asked several friends who each have successful landscape companies in different states and they confirmed the quote we received from Lawn Artist was very fair. We gave Kevin and Matt several inspiration pictures and the rendering we received more than met our expectations so much so that we are putting off saving for a needed kitchen renovation to save for this project instead. Kevin was very understanding and did not make us feel bad for not having the budget to do the project right away and even gave us a great option to do the project in stages fit into our budget! We can't wait to start! By far the best company we received a quote from out of the 5 we contacted!
