The food menu is on the wall so it's easy. Just walk up there and pick your bowl you would like. I got the two base which is a number six menu item. You get two bases, two proteins, two veggies and one sauce. For my base I got sweet potato noodles and coconut rice excellent by the way really tasty. Plus 2 veggies I got the mushrooms and the sweet potato both really excellent. And then my proteins I got teriyaki chicken and the barbecue chicken both really good very flavorful and juicy. I also got a scoop of guacamole on it for up charge, of 2.00 and I also got the vinaigrette sauce which was included. Service was really great. Everybody was so friendly unhelpful. Decided to take a drive to Sarasota from Naples on a Sunday. So many options as far as places to eat, but my daughter raves about this place so I chose to grab lunch here. I had the 3 bowl with the sweet potato noodle base, sweet potato veggie and blackened chicken. My hubby has the kale Caesar for his base the chick peas and the blackened chicken. Staff were pleasant, efficient and friendly. Both bowls were absolutely delicious. We were both full after finishing and we spent under $20. Flavors were wonderful and everything tasted freshly made. With the three of us we each at LEAST twice in line asked - what is that? Are X or Y in there? The two folks after me the same thing??? I think in NY or other cities they would HAVE to post ingredients and calorie estimate for example? I don't need all that but in the kale I was interested in if DAIRY or maybe OIL??? OR how about nuts in some of the stuff? Not that I care about that but others do. I don't think they even know what's in the dish they are serving? Sometimes they asked the person next to them? (ok beat this to death the second time there?) Its all about the food and they do a great job. The upselling at the end is also Frontier Airlines annoying! $2 bucks for spoon of salsa or tomatoes??? What the FK. No, I am not cursing you out this is the monogram on the door. I kid you not. Well, if Amy Winehouse and Bolay had a restaurant baby this would be the result. It's like Chipotle but healthier. The setup is essentially the same. It's not bad. But it's not great either. I think a point they could strengthen is maybe their enthusiasm because the food is lackluster. Something has to catch the customers and unless they up their presentation which is a difficult task in and of itself then perhaps, as I said enthusiasm would seal the deal. Maybe, I was at a hangry point when I came through but I feel like it could be better. The location is great. The shopping nearby is convenient for all domestic needs and otherwise so it makes sense to stop in if you want something fast, fresh, and with a few healthy choices. Will this be my first choice? The premise here is that everything is 100% gluten free, dairy free, has no processed sugar, their sauces are homemade, they use olive oil for cooking (except for sauces) and they offer antibiotic free meats. So, I'm short, people with diet restrictions, limitations, and allergies can comfortably eat he The concept for newbs might seem overwhelming but I assure you it's pretty simple. I have seen many a first-timer look like a deer in headlights after glancing at the menu board and seeing all the options. You pick a FOUR or a SIX bowl; the FOUR bowl having two bases, one veggie, one protein and sauce. and the SIX bowl consisting of two bases, two proteins, two veggies, and a sauce. They also offer Kids' Meals, which consist of one base, one veggie, one protein and sauce, and Family and Feast Meals if you want to serve a crowd. They use DoorDash which is a terrible delivery service and they have delivered my food to the wrong address TWICE! Almost $60 worth of food both times. Fresh kitchen can't do anything about it except approve or deny a "remake" to be redelivered but DoorDash can't resubmit it because it has to be through the Fresh Kitchen site/app. They only have this one location in Sarasota so it's very unfortunate. You get some nice choices like kale salad, or spinach, and then move onto the vegetables. Then you select your protein and you can have tofu, chicken, shrimp anything you want really. The quality of ingredients seem to be good, but not incredible. The flavors were average, nothing special. The sauces that they offer, or a bit tangy, which I liked, and you could choose from several. Like most of the restaurants, the prices have gone up and significantly. For dinner bowl with the ingredients I described above you're going to spend about $20. If you're OK with that then great! I thought for what you got. It was a bit expensive. It's easy and fast and has impressed my husband and parents and friends who often lean more towards indulgent, standard restaurant fare. I myself prefer cleaner options and this is a good compromise to keep everyone happy. If I had a complaint, there are sometimes where I find a particular ingredient too salty or maybe not my favorite batch. Enjoy this place for lunch! We stopped in during a Friday lunch time and each of us got a bowl. It is a 'build your own bowl' concept where you can pick the type of base, veggie, protein, and sauce. They have different combinations with a different price for each. I got the 'kid's bowl' (about $8.29) which was 1 base, 1 veggie, 1 protein, and 1 sauce. So I picked brown rice, almond baked chicken & mushrooms, and actually skipped the sauce. He got the same combo but he picked the brown rice with citrus chicken, and did an 'add-on' of pico de gallo. The food was good- nice and fresh. The place was crowded so we waited for a couple minutes for a table to free up. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

The rice is cooked to perfection and lets be clear a lot of place can not cook brown rice correctly. The kale salad offers the freshness needed. The basil mushrooms are tasty, soft and lightly flavored. The lemon garlic broccoli add that much need crunch. always ALWAYS get the double roasted salmon cooked just right and the herb balsamic vinaigrette giving it a little tangy and the citrus avocado for the creaminess and parmesan cheese.
