Truly disappointed and hurt that I had a great seat to see Ali Saddiq today for a 7pm show and…read moredrove 1.5 hours to this location to not be able to see him perform. Drove around for about 10 minutes, like many others, to finally find parking directly across from the Auditorium for $20 that only took cash. I looked at the Auditorium to see it was a chaotic scene. At about 720 there was a long line still waiting to get in. The Line extended from the Auditorium down the stairs onto the sidewalk. This told me that the show would be delayed as well, as people were looking for parking like me while others were waiting to get in. Afterwards, I drove around a few more blocks for about 10-20 more minutes then at 745 I gave up and drove the 1.5 hours back home. I called the box office to voice my disappointment. If you're not familiar with the area you wouldn't know where else to seek parking but I tried by following the crowd as they continued to look for parking. I won't be coming back to this location. Sorry that I missed his performance I was really looking forward to it.

Back in March I was gifted a ticket to see Jill Scott down in Macon. I did some research in this…read morevenue so I knew it was aged. I prefer smaller venues for concerts. They just hit differently. We had front row seats in the balcony right. Section 202/Row A Seat 5 and 6. Now let me just say this. If you are handicap or have mobility challenges be prepared to walk. There are no elevators or escalators available in this venue. If you have a seat in the balcony you have to walk up a set of steps. Also there is an entrance just for handicap. I used the entrance but I really didn't see where it made much of a difference. Another thing is knowing where your seat is and which door to use. We use the set of steps to the left of the venue not knowing that our seats were to the right of the venue. With that being said we walked up all those steps got to the balcony, and then we realized that our seats were all the way on the opposite side. We had to walk around the top of the balcony all the way around to the other side. I was out of breath honestly but the ushers were nice enough to let me sit down here and there on my way to my seat. Also if you are a height challenged or have some extra fluff y seats are tight. We chose the balcony front row thinking that we would have more leg room. Negative. You will not have more leg room just because you have the front row. As the night went on I noticed that there were no people on the end seats so I got up and moved to the end where there was no restrictions with legroom. That also allowed me to see the stage very clearly on the right hand side. I saw every movement just Jill Scott made very clearly. I will say the acoustics in this place were pretty good. I saw other reviews where people didn't like the sound but the sound was on point on this particular night. It was also very easy to get out of this place even though there was a crowd. I definitely would not choose floor seats because I saw where those seats some of them were zip tied together especially on the front row. You have no room to move around. This place is old and tattered and smell old but it was a good show regardless.

Worst venue I've ever. Steep dark stairs with zero markers to get to awful balcony seats. I'm 5'7" and this is how tight the seats are.

Went to see my first live performance this weekend and was blown away! What a cool feeling venue to…read morelisten to great music and enjoy some tasty beverages! The building decor and design in itself is a treat--in an artsy and historical style--but the sound system in that hall was on fire! The line outside wasn't terrible, and the staff and security were all very respectful and laid back. No drama. Fair warning, they let me in with my mini-backpack but tossed any snacks I had in it. No biggie! So, if you find yourself touring around Centennial Park and want to catch a show, it's not too hard. The main floor allows for the party to really happen, but only for those who can endure standing for hours at a time as it's standing only. There's a floor level for VIPs, which I bet was totally worth the money. We sat up in the balcony, so we could sit and see it all. Whew! The seats are very snug! I'm only 5'3", and it was a squeeze for my legs. My 6'1" hubby said he was ok, but his legs were open the entire show to fit. On that note, be prepared for LOTS of stairs! Drinks were tasty and made well. My pizza wasn't exceptional in any way, but it was edible for bar food. And really, the bartenders were all friendly and patient. Just a cool night altogether. Great experience for a small-venue show on a date, with girlfriends, or a big group of fans alike! We saw James Blake, and the only issue I had was the bright flashing lights. I had to squint by the end of the show. But it didn't seem to bother the other thousand in the hall.

They have bars set up everywhere, the down stairs has merch and food, and the sound is amazing. It is a small place so be prepared... it is more than just loud! My youngest needed ear plugs. The place is sooo cool though! Really an architectural marvel. Reminds me of a lower version of the Fox. But the concert was unreal here! I would go back and Will to see other concerts here for sure! Just a warning again though. It is very loud! I mean off the charts! I would bring ear plugs when I go again just to keep my hearing intact.

LIVE WIRE FILTERS OUT THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS, SO YOU CAN NOT LEAVE AN HONEST REVIEW THERE…read more We are writing to express our profound disappointment with the event coordination for our 20-year reunion. The experience was incredibly unprofessional, and the Class of '04 Reunion Committee felt disrespected after having paid for your services. Initially, we selected Live Wire based on the positive reviews on your social media platforms. However, after checking other review sites like Yelp, it became clear that our negative experience was not unique. We encountered significant issues with conflicting information about the services provided by your staff. Despite multiple attempts to contact our event coordinator, Erika, we did not receive clear or consistent answers to our questions. During our visit on June 25th, we were given conflicting information yet again, but your general manager, Algy, and other staff were the most pleasant and spoke with us with the level of customer service a paying client expects. Attempts to visit the venue during stated hours of operation were fruitless, as the venue was closed each time. Given the high cost of renting this venue, we expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. After speaking with the owner, Erin, we were told that we were "wasting her time" because she and other members of management had to be involved when our event coordinator, Erika, went unresponsive and we weren't getting our questions answered. Erin also mentioned that she shouldn't be communicating with one of the committee members because they weren't the point of contact, yet she was willing to take an additional $350 from our classmate for an extra hour to set up. This inconsistency was unacceptable. This business is in the hospitality and customer service industry, and Live Wire's conduct was severely lacking. We have never heard of an event coordinator not assisting with coordination. When our class representative was told Erika was not an event planner, we were already aware. However, when we expressed our concerns to Erin and Algy, their responses were contradictory. Live Wire can certainly learn from Algy, who communicated professionally while being informative and addressing our issues. If your event coordinator was unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the role, then it raises questions about the standard of service provided. If this venue could not handle event coordination, it should not have taken on the responsibility. Here's the link to UGA's Event Planning and Meeting Management Certificate. Given that this is a college town, as Erin pointed out, perhaps Live Wire could benefit from this training to better reflect professionalism in its operations. On July 4th, we received an email stating changes to our contract and confirmation that the $350 was received for the additional setup hour. Yet, they weren't the point of contact, but the money was taken. As of July 7th, Erin responded to a message indicating that yet again, misinformation was provided. Erin, you stated in your email that you said the same thing as Erika to our class representative, which you certainly did not do. Our class representative even confirmed with you multiple times prior to leaving regarding the timeline for dropping off tablecloths at 2 pm. It's a good thing that in the state of Georgia, you have the right to record conversations as long as one person is aware, and when they spoke with you, the committee was also on the phone and heard the entire conversation. You also forgot to mention that you said if your staff shared the information regarding tablecloths or any items being dropped off and set up before our arrival, you would have to speak with your team. Sounds like a lack of communication amongst your staff that had nothing to do with the client. The fact that you blatantly lied about your conversation in an email truly shows this venue for what it is. Neither you nor Erika owned up to any customer service lapses, which was mind-blowing. On July 8th, Erika finally reached out to our point of contact by phone and provided direct contact information, less than four days before our event. The simple fact that there was a thread going back and forth between your event coordinator and our point of contact prior to July 8th and your event coordinator went unresponsive is what warranted the call for clarity yet again. And it seems that both you and your event coordinator are on the same page when it comes to telling the customer to make sure we have a great time at the event and not to worry about logistics leading up to it. So, you wanted us to put trust in the fact that everything would work itself out, but your business has made that impossibly hard to do.
