This is a really fun quirky spot. We were on a road trip and always look for good spots for the kids to play a little and stretch their legs. Checked out the pigs, goats, and got some BBQ. So many interesting things to check out from the plane, to the farm equipment, to the mammoth teeth. The patio is a great hang even on a hot day and there's a little dining room if you want AC. I'll stop through again on our next trip.

Pulled pork sandwich, homemade coleslaw, and homemade baked beans

Oh my gosh, I've drove past here hundreds of times and even asked my customers multiple times. Have you ever eaten here? Well, I stopped on the way home today and I was not disappointed the barbecue sandwich on point the ribs coleslaw baked beans everything excellent the service is top notch I must say I will be back

Stopped after seeing the plane and helicopter many times riding in I-75 N. We didn't know they had BBQ. Had a nice lunch there. Potions for sides were larger than expected. Sandwich was smaller than expected. Baked beans were good, Mac and Cheese were just average. Pulled pork had some sort of vinegar type sauce. It would have been better to not put a sauce and allow customers to choose their own sauce. Friendly staff, lots for young ones to look at/ do while there. Nice gift shop. Whole place is rustic. We'll stop again on another day to get our final recommendation.

Well. We didn't get to try the BBQ but we did enjoy seeing the place. It was fun to stop Over during our road trip and fun stop for pictures. Have to come back bc they were still smoking the BBQ

The BBQ here is solid good food!

This farm stop is just off the freeway, but a little bit of a fun stop. Lots of vintage farm machines, vehicles and more, with a nice gift shop with jams and dressings inside. We needed to meet someone at a halfway point, and chose Hamlin Farms for the good reviews of their BBQ though. Those reviews weren't wrong. The place is fun and interesting, but the BBQ is legit. I got the brisket sandwich with mac 'n' cheese and baked beans. Dear Husband got the pulled pork and the same sides. Both plates came with a drink and a bonus side of slaw. The meat was smokey and tender, with sauce on the side. The sides were all wonderful. I don't even like cole slaw, but I ate nearly all of mine. The flavors were all balanced leaning more toward savory, which is a nice change from all the sugary sweet flavors one tends to get in most bbq restaurants. We wrapped up with a peach cobbler fresh out of the oven. "Delish!" I suspect it was topped with a biscuit dough. Again, not too sweet, but the peaches were lovely. The staff were all really pleasant and accommodating as well. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

What an unexpected sweet little stop of true southern hospitality. After missing the exit for the James and the Giant Peach Stand, we made a swift departure from our route after seeing the billboard for the ice cream, jams, fireworks, and wine of Hamlin Hills. We were welcomed immediately, and while the ice cream machine was broken, I sampled jams and pickles and even some very potent "appleshine", before leaving arms laden with a jar of hot pickles, some slushies, and a huge bag of FREE vegetables. ("Take as much as you want! Grab some for your neighbors!") With classic cars, and a cute working carousel rounding out the experience, this was a terrific end to a last minute family weekend getaway.

Great place to stop for some Georgia peaches!

I heard good things about this place. Got a pulled pork sandwich. It was extremely small. No smoke flavor. Sauce was decent. Won't go back.

Family favorite! We took the kiddos as summer activity and they loved everything about the farm…read more Seeing the animals, mining for geodes, picking strawberries and trying as many homemade goodies as possible! The strawberries were huge, juicy and super sweet. It was a bit muddy but that's honestly the best time to pick them. As a side note the berries are across the street and with Newton County slowly growing crossing the street can be a bit hectic. Thankfully the kids we were with were between the ages of 6-9 so it was a bit easier to cross the street. But none the less still hectic. We went on a Saturday during peak hours which the kids enjoyed because there were so many new possible friends to be made while playing on the on-site playground. Plenty of photo worthy backgrounds, plenty of ripe berries and 10/10 worth every penny. Everyone that worked on the day we visited were super sweet and attentive. Not to mention patient. They really enjoy the service that they provide to the community. We also stop by later in the year for the pumpkin patch as well. This is a family favorite and generational stop for my family!

We came here for their second annual lavender festival. Parking was pretty full on their gravel…read morelot, but it was no problem finding a spot. All of their other farm features were open during the festival, such as srawberry picking, gem mining, and of course the shop full of goodies. There were also outside vendors set up, farmer's market style, and a musician entertaining us all. We went to the lavender field only to find that you had to pay for the picking back in the shop. No worries as the line was not that long. We got our PVC tubing and clippers (both provided by them), and started to pick. There was a good selection and the field seemed full. After about 30 minutes and a lot of photo ops, we were done and they wrap and tie your lavender for you. It was a great experience! We then went to the shop to get some food, but all they had were drinks and dessert type items, so main course foods. There is an opportunity there for sure!
