A good variety of freshly baked muffins, cinnamon buns, warm cookies, cakes and breads at reasonable prices. The muffins are moist and crunchy with lots of varieties, and the cookies are nice warm and chewy. The tall baked in a can cinnamon buns are soft and chewy. The sushi was a disappointment as the rice was cold and hard and the onion or whatever the topping was on top was soggy. Barely ate a quarter of the roll like sushi that had been in the fridge overnight.

A super convenient super market located inside Whistler Village. Prices are way better than any other super market in the Village. I got a chance to try some of their hot food: Butter Chicken. It wasn't very authentic but it was not bad. The butter chicken isn't spicy. Also because you scoop it in the container yourself, you can buy whatever amounts you want. Hot food prices are by weight. Highly recommended for those who doesn't want to spend too much or eat out everyday. The store is quite big and it used to be IGA. 1 hour Free parking is available in front of Fresh St. Market.

This is one of the grocery stores that is conveniently located in Whistler Village. This used to to be an IGA, but I noticed the banner change since my last visit to Whistler last year. The renovations and rebranded gave the grocery store a much needed update. Fresh St. Market has a nice layout. The store is bright, and organized. There is a decent selection of baked goods, vegetables, meats, cheeses, etc to make your stay at Whistler a little bit more comfortable. Everything costs more given the touristy location. If you plan to do some of your own cooking during your stay, it might be wise to stock up beforehand at a cheaper grocery store and use this grocery store to top up. However, since I planned to mainly dine out during my stay, I just bought some snacks to keep in my hotel room.

They have lots of vendors selling local goods, jewelry, arts & crafts, produce, and some food vendors - but not a lot. The only ones I recall were scallion pancakes, bibimbap, lemonade, shave ice, and pizza. We ended up getting some scallion pancakes and bibimbap. We also bought some syrups from the shaved ice stand. Most of the prices seem very fair, considering how expensive Whistler is in general. There's nothing amazing about this farmer's market but it's nice if you want to check out some local items, and if you have nothing to do.

Whistler is home to my absolute favourite farmer's market!…read more For starters, their produce is always in season. Depending on the time of year, you may only see one or two produce vendors at the market, but on my most recent trip I noticed three; two fruit stands and one veggie mini market. One of the fruit stands was carrying fresh, local goji berries, which was a fun surprise. I'd never seen or tasted a fresh goji berry before and the fact that they were local was just an added bonus. The variety of food/artisanal goods is phenomenal. Whenever I come, I always binge on, well, basically everything. This time, I got a snow cone from Frost Bites, a horchata from Aguas Frescas, and a plateful of paella from Entucasa. When was the last time you had a snow cone? If your answer is "too long ago" then you will not be disappointed if/when you buy one from Frost Bites. They use their own syrups to flavour them, leading to some unique--yet downright delicious--flavour combinations. I got lychee yuzu and peach with lemon verbena. I seriously recommend that you try Aguas Frescas; they've recently expanded to selling their products at markets outside of Whistler, and for good reason; people--myself especially--can't get enough of them! I love all their flavours, I love that all the ingredients they use are simple (no preservatives here!), and I love how friendly they are. The paella from Entucasa was good; there was a nice portion size on the plate but after paying $15, I wanted more than just one spot prawn. Also, I missed the chorizo, which was not included in this dish. Whether you've never been to a farmer's market before or love them like I do, the Whistler Farmer's Market is a nice place to start.
