Nut allergy friendly: Everything good, even the dessert we tried. Time to Bread: 7 Minutes Time to Salad: 18 Minutes Time to Entrees: 35 Minutes We arrived around 8:20PM and waited about 20 minutes to get a table for 6 and a table for 2. The space is small, so they cannot sit larger groups. Don't be afraid of the high prices! The main dinner entrees come with a soup or salad, so it is very filling. Most of my group took leftovers home (I did not, but I skip lunch when I ski.) Complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil (4.5/5): Banger. Delicious bread and great dip. Caesar Salad (3/5): A classic. Nothing crazy, nothing bad. Chicken Parmesan (4/5): The Chicken Parmesan was not as crispy as I prefer, but it was very flavorful. The pasta was cooked al dente which may feel a bit firm for some people. I really enjoyed the dish overall and the portion was solid. Tiramisu (4/5): Great coffee flavor notes. I only took one small bite but we shared it six ways. Overall, stellar option for food in Whistler Village and I'd definitely recommend it for something away from bar food at an affordable price.

When my husband and I visited last month, this place was phenomenal! This restaurant is a truly a hidden gem. It is tucked away in a corner, but I truly think there should always be a line out of the door. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They helped us determine what to eat and the choices did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is quite warm, I suggest to wear shorts and a T-shirt! The portions were big and we had to take them home. We were completely full and we had no room for dessert unfortunately. If we ever come back to Whistler, we are 100% going back to this restaurant for their delicious food

Chicken parmeasan with waaaay too much tomato sauce
    Cheryl S.

We ordered the chicken parmeasan with an extra cutlet. The pasta was a little overdone and was doused in layers of tomato sauce. The chicken itself was cooked okay (it wasn't overdone and dry), but they must torch the top to make the cheese look like it was cooked perfectly - because when you take a bite, it was warm at best.

Pasta Lupino is an excellent spot if you want high quality, affordable pasta in a low key, casual setting. I went over here with my brother and we both ordered the chicken parmesan. The food came quickly and was filling. We accomplished exactly what we were looking for by going to Pasta Lupino.

spinach cesare with a mixture of alfredo and basil and plum tomato sauce, added by chicken parmigiana cutlet
    Michealea F.

I went at lunch to get their spinach cesare with a mixture of alfredo and basil and plum tomato sauce, added by chicken parmigiana cutlet. They serve it with a piece of bread and you can grab a butter from a counter for the bread. The chicken is flavorful and the meat is tender. Their pasta is al dente and their sauce is a great mix too. It's perfect for the price with the black pepper and extra parmesan cheese that I added later on.

Half-finished veggie lasagna. Plenty left over for another meal.

This is a hidden treasure of Whistler. It's away from the main stroll and very much worth tracking down. We've eaten there multiple times and have always been thrilled with the food. Per my vegetarian wife, the veggie lasagna is the best ever. I can vouch for the meat lasagna as well. All of the pasta dishes have been great.

    1. CHICKEN PARMIGIANA (breaded chicken breast topped with tomato basil and plum tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese served on linguine pasta) 2. CYOP&S (spinach cesare pasta with basil and plum tomato sauce with herb-roasted chicken and roasted veggies) 3. SPAGHETTINI & MEATBALLS (handmade meatballs served with spaghettini and topped with fresh basil and plum tomato sauce) 4. 1/2 LASAGNA & SOUP (layered with meat, spinach and ricotta cheese; finished with a layer of broiled mozzarella and topped with fresh basil and plum tomato sauce with a lentil coconut curry soup) 5. CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE SOUP * 7/10 * With a few good options to choose from at Whistler, we needed our pasta fix. These dishes were average, but the bread was surprisingly the star of the show. We even ordered a second bread basket because it was that good. The chicken vegetable soup was good though, very comforting. Dads coconut curry soup was also yum. The prices are a bit high, but what do you expect eating at a restaurant in Whistler. Pasta Lupino makes their red sauce in house which makes it special. But all the dishes needed more salt, pepper, pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese to fix it. Other than that, our pasta cravings were satisfied at the end. ^@kamibites on Instagram

Always reliable for a quick and reasonably priced meal. If you can not get a table, take out is a great option if your place has a kitchen.

They have a tiny sign hidden behind the water faucet, so small that I didn't see it in two visits to the place. About 20 minutes in, I was made aware of the no laptop rule and put it off to the side. At this point I hadn't even finished drinking my coffee or eating my pastry. As soon as I was done with them, the same boss lady came over and basically asked me to leave because "there were families looking for a table." She even had the audacity to tell me to "read the room." At this point it had been 42 minutes since I entered the establishment and about a half hour since I received my order. I was seated at the smallest table in the place and not taking up much space at all. It would have been tough for even two people to squeeze in to the table where I was seated. Adding insult to injury, in between my two interactions with the boss, a customer rudely asked when I would be leaving. It took all my strength to politely offer to share the table with her, but she just said she wanted the whole thing to herself. So in the span of about 20-25 minutes I had 3 separate conversations trying to justify my existence at this tiny table. It was unreal and I honestly thought I may have been on some hidden camera television show. This place basically wants to take your money and then rush you out so they can get more people in there. I understand the obvious dollars and cents motivation for this, but it's crass and callous and completely unbecoming of even a small town coffee shop. I travel about 200 days a year and I've been to literally hundreds of terrible coffee shops, but I've never in my life been treated this poorly as a paying customer. Maybe just place a big sign informing everyone of a time limit on how long they can sit. Or at least tell the guy who walks in with a laptop bag and blatantly sets up his laptop that he can't hang out there (like I said I was unaware of the policy so obviously wasn't hiding anything). I would have paid double, even treble, to just be informed in advance so I could patronize a different local business in Whistler and avoid that experience.

Others have said they aren't traditional Aussie pies and I get that if that is your expectation. I always try to appreciate the cafe for their take on the food items. Peaked Pies didn't disappoint. It is a small spot with just a few tables outside and a few tables inside. The eatery gets pretty busy so we felt lucky to get a table inside. They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either.
