All Around quoted me $2,375. To remove, clean and replace the guards. Their work required a team of two to spend a total of 5 hours at my house and 1/2 hour offsite to do the cleaning. This worked out at OVER $200/HOUR for UNSKILLED LABOR. Don't let this happen to you.

I requested that they pre drilled everywhere they were going to add mounting brackets and they accommodated my requests. They also had no clue how to install a drip edge, drilling through the side of MY GUTTER AND FASCIA rather than nailing from the top. It's like they just picked up some random guys from Home Depot parking lot rather than using experienced gutter installers. They basically installed a colander instead of a gutter. It was so bad I had to get a lawyer and have them take down their work and find a new gutter installer. The gutter installers who came to bid (before the messed up install was removed) were gobsmacked how bad the work was, and one said it was the worst install he had ever seen and asked to take photos to show his potential customers how bad some other local contractors are. FOR REAL. I worked in both residential and commercial construction admin for almost a decade in the past and Lluvia's didn't even know the basics for best practices for installing either drip edge or gutters. I don't know how these folks have a license. The only reason I used them was because they were recommended by the manufacturer. I'm assuming they paid for that referral, or else have a friend that works there. I question the validity of their good reviews. Probably friends or family, or people who have no clue how gutters should be installed. Avoid at all costs.

It was like the old days before the big stores like Home Depot, or Lowes came along. Not only did they beat the big stores prices, but they handled there business like how things used to be and still should be. My partner and I were really impressed by this place. No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! For many years, I have used Five Star for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, screen replacement, outdoor window cleaning and power washing--and they're just as good as ever. Thanks!

Carlos gave a quote range and was able to squeeze in the job the very next day (it took several hours, easily half the day), and before the forecasted rain!
