Rosiles Redesign did the flooring for my rental house in Stockton. Rosiles is very responsive and always addresses my concerns and questions promptly. Jesus was his crew chief for the task. He had more than 5 years experience in flooring and did a wonderful job. The stairs and the edges were done perfectly.

A 60 foot tree fell on our house NYE and the insurance company sent Paul Davis Restoration. I had low expectations for a franchise operation connected with insurance, but they were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL from start to finish. Nicole managed our claim and is kind, super responsive, and does a great job following up. Nate and Bobby are hard working, polite, cheerful young men who always wear shoe covers inside. After the initial demo, they returned and spent hours in the dark and rain at the start of another storm disconnecting the remains of our demolished pergola from the house so it wouldn't catch wind and rip off our living room wall. The insurance company's reconstruction estimates were ridiculously low, and with the owner Joseph's help, it went up by $45k (to where it should have been to begin with). The insurance company was a nightmare, and in the chaos and overwhelm, the staff at this Paul Davis truly sustained us. They are based out of Stockton, but cover the Sacramento Valley and into the Bay Area as well.

Unfortunately, communication from the project manager, Matt, was disappointing. When I asked him to explain what would happen next, he replied, "Sure," and then sat in silence until I asked if he was going to explain it right then. The explanation I eventually received felt rushed and incomplete, leaving me confused about who was responsible for fixing the plumbing leak versus the water damage restoration. And this was the same with every single question I asked. I understand now that restoration companies typically handle mitigation while a plumber and contractor handle the plumbing repair and reconstruction. However, that should have been clearly explained from the beginning. During a stressful situation, clear communication and professionalism are just as important as the restoration work itself. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience with "project manager" Matt.

After my insurance company caused complications that led to First Call terminating the job which I understood, I received an invoice in May of last year. I paid that balance in full with two separate checks within two weeks. I have the receipts, the copies of the checks, and the bank statements showing exactly when First Call cashed them. After a full year of zero communication, I woke up today to a voicemail and email threatening to send me to collections within 48 hours. They claimed they had been "trying to reach me" for 12 months, which is untrue. I checked my call logs and my email history; there was absolutely nothing. When I called and provided my proof of payment and the exact dates they cashed my checks, they admitted the "error" was simply because someone forgot to check a box in their system. It is incredibly stressful and offensive to have your credit threatened because a company can't be bothered to check their own bank deposits before sending out threats. As a veteran, I live by a standard of integrity and doing your due diligence. Relying on a "checked box" as the Bible instead of doing actual research is lazy and unprofessional. Do better, not just for your customers, but for the reputation of the guys out there doing the actual work.

This is a new experience for me, and I had no idea what I should do. I looked it up on Google, and this was the first company that came up. I spoke with a woman named Luisa. She explained the process to me very thoroughly and was super patient in answering all my questions. I did not end up going through with setting up an inspection. I wanted to get a second opinion before moving forward, but she definitely took care of my needy questions and set my heart at ease. I was freaking out, and she was super helpful and polite. Not sure if she will be expecting this, but I definitely recommend the consultation if she's on the call!

Our dog has been in 100 degree weather and the GM first refused ownership when even the tech apologized for the mistake of damaging a pipe and water spewing out. He then reached out appearing to attempt to rectify only to not respond for another night. Please reach out to me if you're in management in Rainbow Restoration and are not Param. I would note the tech that came out was honest, kind, and accepting full responsibility. Erik also came and was very helpful and understood the tech made an error. During Param's conversation on the phone with me he admitted this is rare and he should've went into a 2x4. Our homeowners insurance sent out a plumber to review who said the fracture on the pipe was not due to wear in tear but deliberate puncture by force. Everyone is in agreement the tech made a mistake. However, Param is unwilling to accept this is a separate issue from the preexisting issue we called about. The house was not unlivable and we were not displaced prior to working with Rainbow Restoration. The plumber Param sent to my house stated he couldn't find another leak so the tech "probably" punctured the same exact (rare) pipe in the same exact spot there was a leak cause water to spew out and create an emergency situation. We are only seeking for the company to rectify the new problem they have created so our family can move back into our home.
