I had low expectations for a franchise operation connected with insurance, but they were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL from start to finish. Nicole managed our claim and is kind, super responsive, and does a great job following up. Nate and Bobby are hard working, polite, cheerful young men who always wear shoe covers inside. After the initial demo, they returned and spent hours in the dark and rain at the start of another storm disconnecting the remains of our demolished pergola from the house so it wouldn't catch wind and rip off our living room wall. The insurance company's reconstruction estimates were ridiculously low, and with the owner Joseph's help, it went up by $45k (to where it should have been to begin with). The insurance company was a nightmare, and in the chaos and overwhelm, the staff at this Paul Davis truly sustained us. They are based out of Stockton, but cover the Sacramento Valley and into the Bay Area as well.

He made sure we understood every step of the process. He immediately sent his remediation team, and both Kirill and Alex were incredibly professional. They opened the ceiling carefully, installed a very well-planned plastic barrier, and set up the drying equipment thoughtfully. The barrier was perfectly placed and sealed, and the ceiling opening was done with great care. The removal of the equipment was just as careful and respectful of our home. After my insurance company caused complications that led to First Call terminating the job which I understood, I received an invoice in May of last year. I paid that balance in full with two separate checks within two weeks. I have the receipts, the copies of the checks, and the bank statements showing exactly when First Call cashed them. After a full year of zero communication, I woke up today to a voicemail and email threatening to send me to collections within 48 hours. They claimed they had been "trying to reach me" for 12 months, which is untrue. I checked my call logs and my email history; there was absolutely nothing. When I called and provided my proof of payment and the exact dates they cashed my checks, they admitted the "error" was simply because someone forgot to check a box in their system. It is incredibly stressful and offensive to have your credit threatened because a company can't be bothered to check their own bank deposits before sending out threats. As a veteran, I live by a standard of integrity and doing your due diligence. Relying on a "checked box" as the Bible instead of doing actual research is lazy and unprofessional. Do better, not just for your customers, but for the reputation of the guys out there doing the actual work.

They went above and beyond to do mold remediation, check the existing walls and room, and called a leak detection company to find out what the problem was before they patched up the wall. I recently had to report my landlord to public health due to a carpet that's been in place adjacent to the shower for over 20 years, and has been repeatedly reported, has recently become more of an issue for us as tenants due to a present mildew smell. After Rainbow inspected and in fact found mold in the bathroom, the report stated the mold in question was caused from "negligence". When I called to question how the report concluded tenant negligence, they transferred me to "Parm" he then informed me that I supposedly told him there was an ongoing leak that's been reported several times. When I in fact told him the concern for moisture and mold had been reported several times and we also wanted to report while vendors were here - that we were concerned about a new faucet leak that had just started, specifically dripping down from the faucet. So simply, miscommunication. Simple. When questioning the miscommunication he was not at all friendly, or professional. He was very aggressive. Also, when you call in they do state that all calls are recorded - when I asked if he could potentially pull up the recording to confirm I said anything of the sort, he said we do not record our calls. Go figure. The most interesting thing is, both him and another Manager that I had met face to face, (Erik) had totally different outlooks on the situation. Especially knowing the carpet had been in place adjacent to the shower, for decades. It makes me question the integrity of this business as a whole and wonder if this business is running honestly. Also one other thing to add, I was solicited by one of the workers the day of remediation, to check out his car detailing business.
