You give a family member…read morepermission to make a deposit for you, with that you give them your debit card because it makes for a faster easier transaction Obviously you trust that person with my debit card. Bottom line is I accept all responsibilities for my account. So you have someone go make your deposit, the bank teller says that the person who's account it belongs to needs to come in to do it. Ok ya fine whatever. Then the bank calls the account holder and says you have some unusual activities on your account and you sent someone in to make a deposit for you and they had your debit card so we cancelled your card. They said they cancelled it without verify the person has permission or not because card sharing is against there policy. No where online, in there policy, nowhere does it state that it's against policy or rules, it says OB credit Union does not explicitly forbidden allowing someone to use your debit card they strongly advise against it. There words. So now that they turned off the card and activity on the account. The teller behind the counter and the manager need to find different jobs. Reread your own policies and quit making them up as you see fit. I'm gonna blast this everywhere as a matter of fact because of your incompetence and lack of general knowledge I will post this to every platform and on other banks reviews not to bank at Over credit Union and that you people make up your own policies as you go. Spoke with several people who said I'd be able to reapply after 24 hours of paying off. I applied again today, and was immediately denied, stating maximum number of loans reached. Nowhere on their website or anyone I spoke to said you are only allowed a certain number in a timeframe. So instead of having some extra cash, I'm $1600 in the hole. After bills I'll be about $900 negative. Thanks obee!
