The installation team was terrific. Dustin really knows what he is doing and worked diligently and meticulously. He, too, was great about answering all my questions. My old furnace and duct system presented some difficulties, but Dustin found a way to solve all the problems. The team also did a terrific job of cleaning up afterwards! I wanted to have my air ducts cleaned and my furnace serviced and Western Disaster Recovery took care of providing contractors for me instead of my doing all of the coordination. If Ice had called me back they would have an understanding of my situation.

For the last 3 years we have had issues with our AC freezing when we turn it on-regardless of HVAC saying it's fine upon our yearly inspection. Over the last 3 years we have spent over 2k on top of our maintenance plans trying to get this fixed. They have sent out tech telling us "everything is fine" Or "it's fixed" only for it to freeze the first time it comes on in the summer. The last visit was the final straw-- $700 bill for 2 techs to come out, at $145 an hour, to fix a problem that should have been fixed 3 years ago. We paid the bill, but I would never recommend their services or their service plans. It's a joke. They just keep sending techs that never fix the problem and keep charging more.

Two years ago, Basset offered to do an inspection and cleaning of my gas furnace and gas water…read moreheater for $49. The "inspection" was a joke. All the guy did was tell me the furnace worked, the flame looked good, and it was going to the right heat. I could have told him that, what was the point? The cleaning was even more of a sham. All the guy did was run a wet wipe over the top of the furnace and hot water heater. What an absolute joke. The entire time, the guy was trying to sell us a "pull and clean" service to pull the fan and clean it separately. I'm just thinking, if what you're doing is a joke why on earth would I pay you to do more? The service was supposed to include a replacement of the furnace air filter, but the guy tried to leave without providing a filter. I got him to provide one before I paid, but he was not nice about it. The worst part was that the guy charged $149 at the end. Not the $49 that the company offered when I signed up. Thankfully I found a voicemail clearly stating $49, so I contacted Basset and got them to refund me the $100 overcharge, which they sent via check a few weeks later. Suffice it to say, I won't use Basset again.
