Don't give them your credit number before the job is done! Fresh Tech told me for 6 hours of an emergency deep clean it would be $543 for my 1250 sq ft. house. They said they don't use "chemicals" I explained that I didn't care about that, had an invisible layer of spray paint particles (not dried) that had traveled to my first floor from a job in the basement. Wanted it gone. When they arrived I told them not to bother with the upstairs rooms, just concentrate on the 1st floor surfaces and the basement. Jay from Fresh Tech called to say the cleaners agreed with "the estimate". They texted me in 4 hours they were finished. I said okay I'm paying you for 4 hours, not 6. They refused and gave me some nonsensical story about labor hours. Got home after work and did a wipe of my kitchen floor and the paper towel was black! See below. Their ridiculous explanation is that is for a "first pass" clean. Additional passes would require additional time and labor!! But they left after 4 hours and I paid for 6. Had explained I need the paint GONE.SCAM company. Don't fall for the hype they give you on the phone. Don't care about their clients and I am a neighbor. Care about separating you from your money. Charged my card MORE than quote -$559 Edit-Owner acts as if I haven't already complained to Fresh Tech. I offered to settle for $400 and they proceeded to charge my card $559. All I got was excuses and refusal to adjust the price. NO surcharge was ever mentioned or put in writing. They have my number, they can call me to rectify the overcharge. read more

Let's me tell the FULL and True story. No matter how they call it, basic or premium cleaning, I paid $255 for my 1,100 SF condo for new tenant to move in. And after 4 hours of "hard working", I saw dust everywhere, footprints on floor, debris in Kitchen and marks on windows. I don't know what's their standard of "clean", in my eyes, my 15 years' old neighbor's boy can do better than this. Or I should better take that day off to do it myself to save so much trouble following. I have all the photos as evidence, let's the photos talk. I was so angry, and I emailed them and told them that I wouldn't pay for this shitty service. I expect they would offer partial refund or some remedial measures. But no, and this guy, the owner, called me and verbally abused me for 10 minutes with the grossest language you can imagine the next day. Can't believe this guy even has an MBA degree. And then 30 mins later, he called again, he said sorry. Is this a joke? You expect me to forgive after being insulted for 10 mins??? From then, there would will be no negotiation. By the way, this company still charged me $255 with this shitty service. Also, I gave $150 to my tenant as a compensation for his time cleaning the mess after the service. I have reported its behavior to authority. And I will tell everyone I know in Evanston and city not to use this company. This place kept changing staff on me and the quality of work was not there. They charged me upwards of 160 bucks for weekly service and always said they needed more time to clean my 4 bedroom home. I've had Murillo disputes with them regarding the cleanliness of my home and never were rectified satisfactorily. Was told "the owner was on vacation" once and then after he came back offered to give me a 50 perfect discount on a "future purchase" lol. They were also sending a lady from the south side to my home because they didn't have anyone local even though they have an office in my town and advertise HEAVILY in my area. With so many better options, stay away from three guys. They are all flash with a cool reservation system, but the cleaning actually sucks. read more

I had fresh tech maid clean for me four weeks in a row. I wanted to give the company ample time to meet expectations, but results were inconsistent at best. Out of 4 visits, only one was satisfactory. The fees are the highest in the market. They charge $200 for a 2500 sf home, which seems reasonable and close to market rate. That is, until you realize that they limit their cleaning technicians to three hours of cleaning. Not once out of the four weeks did the cleaning service clean every room of my house. They never finish cleaning; they just leave. If they are going to charge $70/hour for a single cleaning technician, the technician should be perfect and efficient. I am updating my review. The company reached out after seeing my review on yelp and email to the contact. Sue, from the company, has proactively reached out and offered $36 credit back for the areas that I pointed out. She is also really courteous in dealing with the situation. I have updated my rating from one star to two stars as it does show that the company cares about consumers' opinion. However, I still won't use them for the future as it was a $300 cleaning service for a three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms 1500SQF apartment. Great initial conversation, cleaning set-up, and first cleaning and then just went downhill. Was charged $195 for initial cleaning and then told subsequent cleanings would be $156. On the second cleaning, they cleaned parts of my house and told me it would be more to clean the rest of my house. And I was not fully happy with the parts of my house that was cleaned. My counters were still sticky, my floors were not mopped, the beds were not made, one bathroom not cleaned, my upstairs rooms where not vacuumed. I was quoted a new cleaning fee of $195 and they would not even address the issue that the part they did clean I was not happy with. Not sure why they didn't tell me after the first cleaning that it would cost me more. My previous cleaning service charged me $140. Why have I never outsourced the cleaning of my house? Because I think having a cleaning person is only for rich jerks who think they are too important to clean their own house. True, many people are rich jerks, but that is irrelevant to whether paying a house cleaner is worth it. It is totally worth it. The feeling of walking into a clean house that you didn't just spend the whole day slaving over is really, really nice. Having friendly, astute women like Susanna and Latrina take care of the job that I had been dreading was an incredible gift. In the way that I occasionally treat myself to a massage, I am definitely on board for treating myself to a cleaning. As a service worker, I realize that if I support other service workers, we raise the caliber of client that all of us service people encounter. Khari did an amazing job cleaning my apartment today! She had such great attention to detail and the place looked perfect. The only reason why I took 1 star off was that their website system didn't seem to register any changes I made prior to the appointment (the website doesn't allow changes to be made 48 hours ahead of time, but I definitely made changes well ahead of that time frame). I had added on an oven cleaning, but the information didn't seem to go through at all and I had to ask her to stay later to get it done. I spoke to Emily from Fresh Tech Maid regarding a deep move out clean for my condo. The unit was vacant but as I told Emily was in rough shape after my filthy tenant moved out. Emily said her technicians were the best and would have my condo clean and sparkling after they were done. I made sure that the company was going to clean the interior and exterior of all the cabinets and appliances and Emily guaranteed everything thing would be done to my satisfaction. She quoted me $325.00 for 7.25 hours and if the technicians needed additional time past that they would notify me and prorate the charge. Two young girls arrived at my condo as scheduled and told me they would call us when they were almost done. They got to the condo at 8:50 am and I received a call at 11:00am that they may need an additional hour to dust because the place was extremely dusty. The technicians called and said they were done around noon time. This was only three hours that they cleaned the condo. No where near the 7.25 hours Emily told me they would be there for the price I was quoted. I arrived at the condo and saw that there were grease splatters still on the stove and the cabinets, the walls still had dried crud on them, and the unit did not smell clean and fresh. The technician told me she was unable to get the stove or walls clean because the don't use chemical cleaners and are a green company. My wife and I were able to scrape the dried up crud on the stove off with our finger nails. My wife took a wet paper towel and ran it along the side of the floor and the paper towel was black. I saw a cigarette butt and garbage in the window panel. The granite countertops were greasy and streaky. This is not what I was promised nor worth the price they charge. I called the company and spoke to Emily about my displeasure and disappointment. I asked her to compensate me for the poor work that the technicians did. Emily said they can not adjust prices nor do they offer refunds. Emily insisted that the two technicians were the top technicians in the company and they have never had someone complain about the service before. Emily's partner Rachel called to talk about the service and was so unprofessional. If you are speaking with a client when representing your business you shouldn't say things like " Cool Beans or Fo sure"! You are not in high school and shouldn't sound like a Valley Girl when speaking with customers. Emily sent a technician back to fix the issue. We made another trip to accommodate the company. Apparently the technician bought chemical cleaners at Jewel and arrived at the condo and said she would use a wet mop on the floor this time. I was taken aback when she said that. How else would you mop a hardwood floor? The second time around was an improvement so I just wanted to cut my losses at this point. Today I check my billing statement and the company charged me $381.00 instead of $325.00. This company is horrible and people need to be aware. read more

Fresh Tech Maid Service has been cleaning our office for the last six months and each week our maid does a spectacular job. She cleans while we are not here so every week she leaves us a beautiful hand-written note. She has been extremely attentive to making sure that all door knobs, handles, and pulls are wiped down to help us eliminate spreading colds and viruses in the office. I've recently signed up for recurring service, so hoping that goes as well as the initial spring cleaning went. Their prices are a bit higher than what I used to pay, so they'll need to continue the high quality before I make a long-term commitment. We have had Fresh Tech clean our apartment several times and they have always done a nice job. Most recently, Jasmine was our technician. I'm embarrassed to say our shower was very mildewy, but she did an awesome job getting it clean! I had tried to scrub the mildew off myself and was unsuccessful, so I really appreciate that she took the extra time to get it totally clean. All our technicians have been professional and friendly. Fresh Tech is definitely not the cheapest cleaning service, but it's been worth it to us to have reliable cleaners who use chemical-free products. read more

She was there about 2 hours, so that's a pretty hefty hourly rate! I was immediately solicited via multiple emails to write a five star review, and if I did, my cleaner would get extra cash. GUILT! i decided to go elsewhere due to price/value. They then charged my credit card the $26 "discount" for repeat bookings. Without notifying me first. $131 for basic cleaning of a tiny 1 BR apt? I just wanted my hardwood floors cleaned - she vacuumed them for an hour - which was unnecessary - the floors were not clean - her cleaning technique was horrible. Fresh Tech has been cleaning our home for nearly two years. With one glaring exception, the technicians have been wonderful. Obviously the exception did not return. Felecia has been our technician for a year. She is very pleasant to have around and does the highest quality work. She, and Fresh Tech, provide everything one could want in a basic housecleaning service, and they do it with safe cleaning products, which is extremely important to us. However, they have strict guidelines and do not, for example, want me to ask their technicians to do things like taking boxes or chairs to the basement, which others have always done. Want ironing done? Sign a waiver. Want silver polished, not on the list of things they are trained to do. For basics, great, which is what most people want. That said, Felicia is great! read more

We called because they had decent yelp reviews but most were from 2015 so we took a bit of a chance. I am here to tell you that in 2017, they are a good choice and we had a very positive experience. Most of that was based on our technician, Alyssa. She was so nice, professional and a hard worker. She got to work immediately and was literally in the tub scrubbing and making our bathroom come back to its condition when it was new 7 years ago. She then reached all the areas that we were too lazy to get to and did an excellent job. I'm sure experiences will vary but if you can ask for Alyssa, get her and you won't be disappointed!! read more
