After an illness left me unable to clean my apartment, I used Yelp to find a service that could. Greenhouse reviews were outstanding, so I invited them to have a initial walk through. After that they recommended a deep cleaning of 5 - 6 hours to start. This initial deep cleaning was completed yesterday, 5/15, and I couldn't be happier. The actual time to clean and have an immaculate apartment was 5.25 hours. With my complete satisfaction, they will be my go to cleaner from here on. I've been thinking of hiring a cleaning service for years, but it took an illness to make it happen. Disappointing. Signed up for a deep clean after a kitchen remodel and didnt even get a surface clean. TLDR - didnt clean half the things that were discussed and agreed upon. stopped communication when attempting to resolve. Specifically requested special focus for upholstery and carpet cleaning, wipe down of dust in the new cabinets & blinds, and the entry way - all together about 450 sf of space. Only the couch, the area between the couch/tv, and one chair (of 4) seemingly was cleaned on top of dusting the living area and surface wiping the kitchen appliances. The dust remained on blinds, all over/in all the cabinets, carpet unvacuumed in the dining area and the high traffic pathway from the hall to kitchen -- as evidenced by a dead bug lying near the dining table, random bits of garbage in the carpet, and no soap scent when I put nose to carpet. The bathrooms seem to have gotten a similar treatment where there were clear streaks on the toilet seat, toothpaste chunks still stuck on, and both showers/bathtub + tile completely untouched. Not sure what took nearly 5 hours as he didn't clean half of the agreed upon area which in total was about 550 sf. I would have rather paid a babysitter the same amount for twice as much time and done the work myself so at least I'd know my apt was clean enough to bring my baby into post kitchen reno. Update: if multiple visits were required, he did not communicate at all prior/during/after visit until review was posted. We tried for several days to come to a resolution but he ended up ghosting. When he came to our apt, I asked him to focus on living, dining, and empty kitchen before moving onto the bathrooms and to skip if time did not allow. The carpet in the dining area was not even vacuumed much less washed and the new cabinets were not wiped down of dust/fingerprints - only appliances got a streaky wipe down. read more

We asked Christopher to clean our house during the pandemic. Luckily he had an availability and he put us in his schedule for routine cleaning. Christopher went above and beyond cleaning our house, while taking precautions for COVID (e.g., wearing a mask, gloves, shoe cover, etc). He is very attentive to details and the house was noticeably clean after each appointment. We also asked Christopher for cleaning after we renovated our house. Each room was covered in dust, including walls and closets. Christopher spent 10 hours cleaning our house so we can move back to the house the next day. He is a very hard worker and reliable. We were very sad to cancel his service after 2 years because we moved out of state. Christopher is truly amazing and it was a pleasure working with him. After having been disappointed by a few other cleaning services in the past - to the point that I had to follow up and finish cleaning what the folks I paid missed - I would like to go on record and state that "yes, I believe Chris and Greenhouse Cleaning Service is as good as it gets, at least around these parts." Chris did an incredible, thorough job with my recent move-out cleaning. While I had a regular cleaner in every two weeks, she often missed areas and was inconsistent. After five years, that added up! Chris was able to scrub every surface, including layers of built-up grime in areas that had been hidden, like behind a buffet and my bed. Now that Chris is our regular, I just want to share something. I wish that I had taken before pictures but when we moved into our house, we hired a cleaning service to clean it up. We had given up on the upstairs bathroom with the tile and figured that we'd need a good grout cleaning.
