I have been here twice since moving to the area. The first appointment was a balayage/foilage and an actual style cut. It was great. Everyone I've seen around me getting their hair done looks good. So now you're asking, why the low rating? I hate to rate low on one person when the rest appear good. But it's so bad I had to but wanted to ensure anyone reading knows most people appear to be very good. So my 2nd time here was about a month back. I got a trim (straight across pretty much. I have above shoulder hair and had had a style but wanted to even it out) and wanted to lighten it up along the same lines as last time I was there was was good (not great but good). Well. When she was done I looked and was like umm ok good but I didn't see much lightening. I could tell my roots were a tad more highlighted. Since I walked out I have noticed that every hair that was colored broke off. So my "bangs" I spend a decade growing out are a cm long. I have little areas of hair all over that are super short. And my hair looks worse color wise and beyond worse in general than before I went. It's been a month and the hair around my face isn't even and inch. To be fair I have weak hair and I am used to breakage. But I've been lightening my hair for 25 years and it's never broken like this or been this awful. I paid nearly $300 and I'd pay $3k not to have this horridness. I cut my bangs in 1996 and they've never grown as long as they did until this and now they don't exist. So. Awesome. read more

Pros-nice building, stylists seem nice and friendly Cons-stylist does not know how to work with wavy hair but yet is offering cuts for wavies. I attended the Fayateville location for a dry cut as I have wavy hair. I decided to try a dry cut as it's the best to maintaining the wave patterns of your hair and helps predict length better as wavy hair bounces back. This was my first time trying this type of haircut. I told her all that i wanted in the haircut and showed her where I wanted it to fall (my shoulders). She started cutting. Right away I wondered why my hairstylist began by brushing off my waves to cut. Long story short-I ended up with short hair-to my neck short. I am really disappointed of the cut. read more

Kara did a great job. This is the first haircut I've gotten in a long time that I loved. I didn't have a solid idea of what I wanted when I came in but it seems to be perfect for my face. She is super nice and personable. The haircut is a little pricey but not too bad and I feel like the money was well spent. The decoration in the salon has a lavish rococo feeling, The color scheme is purple black and silver. Everything seemed to be relatively clean. I didn't have to wait at all when I came in for my appointment. I was offered a beverage upon arriving. I recommend trying it out. read more

I'm from Chicago but traveled to Fayetteville for my wedding boudoir photo session with Meredith Brown. Meredith recommended Megan Farmer at Freshair and she was amazing. I was "that" client walking in with my phone to my ear managing a work fire drill and she was so patient as I finished the call. I requested a blow out for my hair and "sexy Adele" for my makeup. She killed it and since created a LipSense customer out of me. I wish I could say, I'd be back, but I don't know when/if I'll ever be in town again. read more

(I'm an interior designer, so I'm pretty picky-- I was particularly annoyed by the station lights shining into the mirror and then into my eyes; it was blinding). $42 (plus tip, obviously) for a wash and trim seems a little steep to me, but I think it's a pretty average rate around here. read more

I absolutely love this place. I always went to Regis in the mall, but my stylist moved so i was in need of a new one. I found this place on facebook and decided to try it out. The stylist was so nice, so much fun, and they really were accommodating to my last minute walk in needs. She was super friendly, and even gave me pointers when i was having trouble deciding how i wanted my hair cut. I appreciated it so much. I was also thinking about dying my hair, but since i had made such a huge change with the hair cut she recommended that i wait until i am used to the new cut before i dyed, as to not shock myself too much and i really liked that. She was honest, kind, and more than helpful. I would send any of my friends to this salon!! read more

For the ladies the girls here are very professional, friendly, and talented. I've seen women come in with terrible hair and leave looking years younger, hip, and in style. They take what you want and give it to you exactly how you ask but with flair. You won't see "Tabitha Takeover" this salon. This place isn't cheap but the prices do compare to most any other salon and you get so much more. read more

I have been coming to Kylee for years now. She is so extremely knowledgeable, caring, and talented. She always talks me through what we are going to do the day of my appointment. Unfortunately this was one of the worst salon experiences I have ever encountered. It was my first time being a guest there and I was placed with the stylist, Kylee, which she seemed great in the beginning. Although that switched very quickly when we started the process of putting extensions in my hair. First of all she informed me that they are very low maintenance, which is completely untrue. Thankfully another stylist, Kenzie explained how hard they are to up keep and that they would not be a good fit for me since I tend to keep my hair pretty basic. Secondly, she failed to even match my real hair color with the extensions. I even noticed it the day of the appointment and asked her to fix it, which she explained that she didn't have time and would get in touch next week. What a surprise, she never got back to me. I called the salon on 3 different occasions trying to reach her and she never once tried to get in touch with me. I finally ended up going to the salon 3 months later to have them removed without even having an appointment. Thankfully, Kenzie helped remove them and explained what is actually best for my hair. Please take this review to consider never using kylee and how horrific the process can be. read more

For 7 years I have been looking for a good stylist in NWA, I finally found one! Her name is Kylee. I hope she never leaves this salon. I told her what I wanted my hair to do. She gave me feedback and suggested even more hairstyling genius. Everyone in the salon was friendly and laughing. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and cannot wait to go back for other services. I love that it is a full service salon. I was also in love with the product line Kylee used on my hair. The prices for the products were a bit high, but man they were awesome. Becca Banks is quite possibly the most fun, professional, and consistent person I've ever had cut my hair. She's learns what you like, what you don't, and doesn't assume anything when you go in. I found her after jumping from salon to salon trying to get a good men's haircut. When I found her, I knew she did a great job. I got compliments on my hair consistently for years. After leaving Fayetteville, I was sad to say goodbye to Becca and the 5+ years I got to know her. I'm currently searching for a haircut in my new city and I honestly wish I could just call up Becca and have her cut my hair. I recommend her and Freshair 10/10. read more
