They have never made me feel badly about it (even though I do). Dr. C is such a friendly man. He's like papa. The last time I was in, he gently chided me with regards to staying on my alignment schedule (all the while giving me a hug - he's great). My first visit was over a year ago and I'm always in and out so quickly - never waiting more than 5 min to get in a chair. So far, I'm happy about how everything is going. I recommend.

Had to call 911 & was taken to St Agnes for xrays & ultrasound, spent the night then was brought here to Oakwood. I rate them 5 out of 5 stars, clean & safe. Food is great! Staff is caring & readily available. Physical Therapists are top rated in my book. I'm stronger than before my injury & plan to continue working out to get even stronger. Occupational Therapists have taught me how to prevent future injuries & ways to strengthen every day practices. I give top rating all around. God Bless them all.

You told the hospital you didn't want him back for whatever reason. ( let's see being quiet, being cooperative etc). They had me pick up his belongings per protocol and they don't have storage. (Bologna Ham and cheese). No one can call me back or explain what's going on when I followed the policies and now you want him back. (Very fishy) This is a terrible place with unprofessionalism and character flaws. They don't care about the people they just want the amount of people so they can get more money. This place should be investigated and restarted with caring people because this isn't the place. You can't treat people anyway kind of way and expect them to take it. We weren't treated fairly or courteous and now you want him back. Stupid. I tell you there's something suspicious going on there.

They are the only facility in the Fresno area that would accept someone with his diagnosis. When I removed him from his previous facility that was rated 4 stars by Clovis Community, he was so weak that he could not sit up or stand because he had lost nearly 30 pounds because of their poor care. The receptionist at Sierra Vista was very welcoming. The staff was friendly and I could ask any staff member about his condition. At his previous facility I was only allowed to speak to one person and she never gave me answers to my questions regarding his weight, BP, etc. Sierra Vista's dedicated Physical Therapy staff was able to get him up on his feet and walking again. I am extremely thankful for them doing that! When he was discharged to go home many of the staff hugged him goodbye or gave him a kiss on the cheek. They will be happy to know that he is still up and walking. Thank you Sierra Vista!

I was there three months b/c of a car accident. If I had to put some one in this home I believe I would feel good about the general care. I of course would have to bring meals for my loved ones because honestly their food was not edible. HOWEVER **** if you are there with a wound this is not the place to be. My wound nurse decided to oil up my wound then proceeded to tightly bandage my wounded leg. This was not the surgeons orders. Wound nurses are suppose to be a specialized skill. Well this one wasn't. I went home thinking I was finally on my way to recovery. Three days later my wound had opened and I could see the hardware in my leg. Hugh hole. Returned to E.R. Turns out the infection had turned to MRSA and I had to be readmitted to the hospital to open the wound, clean it out, remove the rod in my leg. So now I'm back to square one. After the hospital I went to Willow Creek. Not my choice but because I now had MRSA I needed to be in isolation. DON'T GO HERE. Everyone is lazy. You rarely see your CNA, your nurse is NEVER on time with meds, and sometimes my call button would be on for 1 1/2 hours. Not the kind of place I'd send my elderly. This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! This is a long account and I'm skipping the next 4 weeks. The long and the short of it is: I loved the people at Sierra Vista. Watch out for the wound nurse, make sure you can deliver meals to your loved ones. And remember to stay away from Willow Creek. I would have given this a 5 because I loved the people. I subtracted for the terrible food and the unskilled wound nurse.

My neighbor is there now and he almost died from negligence. Friends went to see him and noticed he was not himself they advised the head nurse he needed antibiotics or something but she said he was fine. That night around 11 o'clock they called his daughter to say he was transferred to the hospital in icu where he almost died because they should have listened to the friends earlier. He was given antibiotics through IV fluids. Now he's back to normal. I don't trust this place don't put your family members here. I would not give any Star of if I could get away with it.
