Came back twice after seeing on social media that they "ban milkyness" on their matcha due to customer comments/complaints. But I'm pretty 50/50 on that. The first I came back I got the matcha einspanner and I can definitely say there was a much stronger matcha flavor. Compared to the second time, I got their Berry Burst which is a raspberry matcha latte. The matcha wasn't as strong and still milky. I also tried their tiramisu latte, which was very stronger but not to my liking since I like my coffee on the sweeter side. Finding seating was still a struggle as it gets very crowded. Hopefully that get fixed soon!

Got the matcha duo, and it was very good! I liked the taste of the matcha cream over the stirred drink as a whole, but overall it was still really good! I do prefer Kohiko's matcha in Sugar Land (just my preference, both are still VERY good) but I would come here if I'm craving more creative and unique flavors/drinks! I will definitely be back to try the cloud matcha! It's super well decorated inside, and the service was good as well. It was pretty crowded when I went on a Tuesday afternoon in the summer, but there was no line for me and they still got my drink out within a minute or two. Will be back!!

Quaint little coffee shop that offers matcha, lattes, teas, espresso and smoothies. They dont offer food but I saw a small tray of cookies on the counter for sale. Every seat was filled and every person had a laptop. This is a very popular place nestled off of hwy 6 and Colonial Pkwy. There is seating outside with small tables and chairs outside. No frills and the decor is mostly wood. The matcha was good but I didnt like how the matcha nestles at the bottom; but that's any matcha unless I make it myself. Im a huge spirulina fan so I enjoyed the drink overall.

Heard about this cafe from some local Houstonians! This cafe reminded me of so much of Rok in LA. I really liked how much matcha they give you and the cup is reasonably sized compared to other cafes in other cities. I got the double matcha and it was so delicious and not too sweet! It was a bit busy on a Wednesday afternoon but a lot of students come here to study. I need to come back and try their other drinks.

Recently came by because I wanted to find a nice coffee shop to work at for their day. A few friends recommended this place to me for their tea and matcha so I decided to check it out I ordered their signature black milk tea. It was a bit on the sweet side but overall pretty solid. I mainly enjoyed the space because they have the studying nooks. I recommend bringing noise cancelling headphones though because it can get loud when its busy

A homey boba spot hidden away from the road. If you are looking for a hangout spot with some quality drink you should come here. I had their matcha cloud (forgot to take a pic before) and this jingxuan oolong tea, they are not like amazingly good or stood out to me but they are good quality. You can taste the matcha bitterness and the oolong tea is very fragrant. Even though I ordered less sweet but they are still on the sweeter side, if you like your tea 25% sweet I would suggest get no sugar because they don't do percentage adjustments so when I had the drink it's still sweeter for me. Service is fast and very welcoming, but unfortunately space is kind of tight and gets rowdy on the weekend all day so it's not really an ideal spot to study in my opinion.

I love the cute little layout of this place. Typical cafe size of a place. They had like an Asian vibe to it with the fake cherry blossom tree. The seating was also cute you can sit by the tree or sit in like a cubicle spot or a table. There was also seating outside. The service was really good he asked if I needed a recommendation and explained everything even after I got the drink. I got the cloud matcha and when I got it he said the coconut flavor is in the foam at the top. There was plenty of parking. Tons of different options and i would like to come here again to try the other drinks!

Pretty solid coffee shop, excited to see new openings in the Sugar Land area, and in a relatively new plaza. It's pretty popular, so be prepared to possibly wait for a table. + Great ambiance + Lots of seating and space between tables. + Most tables have outlets available. + Good selection of matcha, coffee, and tea to choose from. + It seems they use good quality matcha, from Marukyu Koyamaen + Solid hours, closes at 8pm compared to Kohiko's 5pm. + Lots of parking - Wifi is a bit slow, possibly due to everyone using it. - The matcha for sale is a bit pricey, $45 vs $14 (assuming you bought it in Japan). Kohiko definitely now has a serious competitor. I'm inclined to give Fresso the edge, you'll see us more often for sure!

Cute little coffee and matcha spot! Inside is super cool and has great vibes-bunch of space for working or meeting up with friends. Loved the caffe duo. It was a smooth latte with some delicious espresso cream on top. Also liked the tiramisu latte- not too sweet which was nice and the ladyfingers were a nice touch.

I finally decided to pay a visit to Fresso after seeing it all over TikTok and I'm glad I did! I am in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area often so I was highly anticipating the opening of Fresso since they were carrying Marukyu Koyamaen matcha -- I don't know of any other spots in Houston making matcha using MK. (I'm also surprised that they are able to source such a large volume of this brand specifically in the midst of a matcha shortage). Upon entering, I noticed how bright and airy the space was, with tons of seating arrangements and outlets throughout the store. I can see this being a nice spot to WFH from or to study at once they get less busy. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, which was a mistake, because it was packed. I noticed that they didn't take too long to make the two drinks that I purchased but I felt like it was a bottleneck situation when I saw several drinks (our included) by the cashier/pickup area and it was not called out for at least 10 minutes. Not a big deal but the store definitely felt a bit chaotic! I think it would be a good idea to consider expanding the bar area on the left side of their workspace to allow for smoother and quicker drink pickups. Aside from how busy it was, we really enjoyed our drinks! We got the Strawberry Green (green milk tea with strawberry puree) and the Cloud Matcha (matcha latte topped with a blue spirulina coconut foam) -- both yummy but we preferred the Strawberry Green! The owner/cashier guy was also very chill and asked us if it was our first time and if we needed recommendations, which was nice of him to ask. We did not feel rushed despite how crazy busy it was in the store. I will definitely be returning once the hype dies down a bit!

Fresso, Missouri City, TX Duo matcha - 9/10 - So creamy, a good balance of matcha and sweetness, could be stronger for those who like grassier matcha Lotus Eispenisser - 7/10 - Coffee was good but could barely taste the lotus flavor, more bitter than sweet Introducing the newest hot spot for matcha in town!! Fresso is having their GRAND opening today (1/1) with the first 100 customers getting any drink for $3 and the rest of the customers of the day getting 20% off!!

Fresso Coffee and Tea in Missouri City is the newest matcha spot to pop up on my Houston radar, and I'm so glad I made the drive out here to try it. I believe the owner was working the cash register, and he was very friendly to explain the menu to us. Walking in, their store front is very nice. There's a variety of tables, benches, study nooks, and communal tables. Great study spot if you're looking for table space and outlets. Drink wise, that matcha was fantastic! They are usually really high quality matcha from Japan, and the fact that they are using 6g of matcha in every drink is insane. I tried their mango duo and strawberry duo, 10/10 would recommend. The drinks have great matcha flavor without being overly sweet. I'll definitely be a regular here whenever I'm in the Missouri City area. They also have a variety of coffee drinks I need to try as well. Cheers!

I've been to Fresso a couple of times to study and it has become one of my go-to's for matcha! The store uses high quality matcha, which makes the flavor really come through across all the drinks. My favorite so far is the matcha duo, with the mango duo coming in at a close second. It isn't too sweet without adjusting the sugar and the milk is not overpowering. The sandwich is yummy and the egg is flavored well! Although it is a pretty popular place and can get noisy sometimes, the interior design is intentional for easy access to plugs and study space! The service is great and all of the baristas are kind and attentive. A strong contender for my favorite matcha in Houston!
