Come on man! Despite the laws that seem strange to me, I am a rule follower, so off to the liquor store I go. The Liquor Cabinet is located off of Hwy 90 in the back of a strip mall. Do not let the appearance of the strip mall prevent you from visiting. This is a very nice place. My visits here were originally to purchase red wine. The staff were always up to offer suggestions and those worked out well. Lately I have been trying to become a fancy shmancy dude so I have started venturing into Bourbon. The selection of Bourbon here is good to very good. Prices are very competitive and I ended up with a bottle of Bulleit 10 year on my most recent visit. One thing I really like about this shop is the way they list their prices on the liquor. The part of the shelf that faces the customers is a chalk board. Prices are kept up to date and handwritten in chalk. I do not know why I really like this, but I do. That feature coupled with the fact that customers cant just walk up and grab a bottle (the shelves are separated from the sales floor by a counter) gives this place an old school vibe that I really appreciate. Another thing I really like about here is that it is a family run business. Not only is it a family running it, but they make you feel like family even when it is your first visit. I'm a fan.
