Would love to know when the store is open. I've driven 20 miles to it twice--once at 3:00 on a Friday and once at noon on a Monday--and both times it was closed. Tried calling to find out its real hours, and their cell phone isn't working. My rating is based solely on that. Would love to support this small business. Just wish they'd let me! read more

A bit pricey like everywhere else, guy behind the counter was the highlight my vacation

I saw several reviews on Yelp about this little place. It's near one of our popular stops, and I thought I'd give this little place a try. The door was closed when I first approached, but a man walked up and said, "You're gonna need me for this next part", as he pulled out a key and unlocked the door. He had stopped up the street to grab a to-go order. It was easy for me to find what I wanted, and price wise, he's cheaper than my "home" State. Randy is quite a pleasant fellow, and owner of a small business. I previously visited another liquor store in the area and those prices were unexpectedly high. Randy's fit into my budget and he had plenty of product availability. If you're on West Beach, well worth the stop...and the wait. read more

Knowledge, friendly, good prices, easy location...they didn't have what I needed but suggested a great alternative

Prices are ridiculously high, 2 to 3x msrp. And the guy behind the counter was extremely rude.

I went to this store on July 16th 2015 around 9 o'clock p.m. the person at the store was so personable and friendly, he did not have what we wanted so he let us sample something that he thought would be similar at no charge to us, we did purchase that beverage. When I asked him for a business card he gave us a beer cozy with the business name, address and number, in which I used to write this review. My favorite place in Gulf Shores for craft and unique beer. The owner is usually the guy in the store, and is very friendly and quick to offer suggestions. I've become a regular, and it's my first stop when visiting Gulf Shores. If all you care about is Bud Light sorority girl beer, go to Walmart. If you like good beer, go here. read more

My favorite little liquor store in the world. It literally has anything you could ever need and Braswell is awesome. It is by far the cleanest well organized and convenient store in the area. Last time we went we were given a hand written list of recommendations for things to do during our visit. It is the only store we will go to on vacation and we love it. read more

My family and I came to visit gulf shores for the 4th of July holiday. I came here 2 different times to get a couple things. The second time I came to get some particular beer that my dad likes. He didn't have it here, but gladly called 2 other places to check to see if they had it. They did not, and I was happy to buy the next best thing from this place. Both times I visited here, the staff was friendly and was more than accommodating. If you're looking for a local place to buy your booze, this is where you should go. read more

One the best liquor stores that I've been to. The guy was super nice and really nice to do business with. Staying almost across the street and that where I went. Went to another place in town before going in there and he's about 4.00 cheaper than the other place. Told us that he tries to keep the prices as low as he could. Very good selection. Extremely knowledgeable gentleman running the store. It was very accessible to where we stayed on the beach, but nothing was compromised in terms of availability or help on this. Awesome place!! Was on vacation and wanted to grab a few things I could not get at the grocery store. Find this place on Google but when we got there it was closed.
