I ordered a floral arrangement for a wake that I found on the Greenhouse Flower Shoppe website…read more When I attended the wake, the plant I ordered was drastically different from what I ordered. When I contacted the florist, they explained that they are affiliated with Teleflora and can't always accommodate the selection that Teleflora offers...therefore substitutions have to be made. Since I didn't notify them not to make any substitutions, they did their best with what they had on hand. To make things right, they issued me a full refund. They asked that for future ordering, it was best to call and they can let you know exactly what they have and what they don't, and can work with you to get things right. I appreciated the explanation of what happened and their willingness to offer me a refund. I will definitely use them in the future, and will call the Flower Shoppe directly next time and will not order online, as that is where the issue arose.

I was so disappointed in the quality considering the picture that was on the florist's web site. My sister took the arrangement back to the florist after first calling them the next morning. The florist at the front wanted to know what she was supposed to do about the flowers. My sister said she was quite rude about replacing the already wilted flowers. The florist did put new flowers in the bouquet and took out the enormous amount of greenery. I ordered local to support small businesses, but I certainly will be taking my business somewhere else.

The bouquet I received was not at all how I dreamed it would look. There was way too much bright…read moregreen greenery, when the entire wedding is solely dark autumn tones. I sent them a whole vision board with clear outlines of what colors I wanted, and I only asked for a few specific flowers, like dark red roses and sunflowers. The amaranthus they put in the bouquet, which were supposed to be red, ended up being bright purple. Two of the types of orange flowers they said they were adding either weren't orange (ended up being more yellow), or weren't blooming in the bouquet (they were all closed up). Even though I asked for a much smaller bridal bouquet, for my very petite hands, it was still way too large to hold comfortably. We ended up deciding to scrap more than half the bouquet and add in some of the dry and fake florals I had used to make my own hair combs and boutonnières. Overall dissatisfied. A waste of time and money. This was the only thing that made me cry on my wedding day. Would not recommend them at all unless you can meet in person, because clearly, they can't understand everything over the multiple phone calls we had.

We have shopped there a lot for fresh produce (they have their own farm) and in the summer regularly buy sweetcorn and mellons, but have never used the floral side of the house. We needed a flower arrangement for a funeral service and decided to give the "locals" a shot. And I have to say they did a superior job! They were friendly and helpful when the Mrs. visited. The prices were competitive and the finished product (which they delivered to the graveside in another town) was beautiful. We got several comments on how nice it looked. Would I use their services again? Yes. In fact, they are now my go-to flowr shop. Funny side story: As people in small towns often do, we wanted to personally thank them for stepping up, so we stopped by after the funeral to express our thanks. As we entered they had a tense look on their faces. I guess they were expecting us to complain about something. As we started giving them praise for a job well done, their faces broke into wide grins. Quite funny when youlook back on it.
