Absolutely amazing experience. As a huge Mac Miller fan this was a dream. Thank you to Thomas (the most amazing tour guide who was patient and just as excited as we were) and Katie (owner who greeted us on the porch and offered to take photos of us in front of the building). I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful experience. TO TOP IT OFF: some of the best bodega sandwiches I've ever had. You'll be walking out with tons of merch! Highly recommend the Carnigie!

Sweet little sandwich shop near The Frick Museum. Select from a large list of delicious and unique sandwiches, grab a drink, get some ice cream, how about some local art, maybe a sweatshirt, possibly a funny gift. This place has a little bit of everything. Seating is limited indoors (not really an option). They have created two welcoming spots to sit, one area in the back with several seats and an area in the garage (pictured). Or take your sandwich to the closest park and enjoy lunch in the park. You will enjoy whatever you get here. Can we also talk about how NICE they are here?! You would think I am their favorite family member or best friend. Just the best!

Came for the Mac Miller fanfare aspect - was blown away by the food. The lady at the counter, Lorraine was very sweet. We ordered the special for the day: Turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich. It was PHENOMENAL. The owner caught us looking at all the Mac memorabilia and gave us the whole back story on the place. Spoiler alert: Mac did NOT actually work at the market, he did however shoot the video there. It was a super cute spot! The outdoor eating area in the back was a nice surprise. I got an ice cream sandwich on my way out and I was not disappointed. Go take a look!

    Best little neighborhood sandwich shop.

My girlfriend and I came here all the way from Southern California. We are huge Mac Miller fans, so obviously frick park market was a must go on our trip to the Burg. The atmosphere and staff was great. They treated us like we were regulars. The sandwich was awesome, if you are in the area frick park market is definitely the place you need to check out.

The absolute nicest owner and overall good atmosphere. I'm a huge Mac Miller fan and when he saw me looking at Mac's picture he told me to go behind the counter so he could tale my picture haha. Then he gave me a free bag of popcorn while waiting for my food. There's also a book you can write in which will be given to Mac's mom. I nearly cried reading some of it. Food was great and just a 10/10 experience.

We went here because we're Mac Miller fans but the turkey sandwich was the absolute best sandwich I have EVER had. The bread was so soft and fresh. It's served with a crisp delicious pickle on the side. The owner talked with us and told us Mac stories for quite a while. He even showed us the sandwich from the Frick Park Market video! You should stop by for a sandwich and some Mac Miller stories

It was recently renovated just in time for the NFL Draft to allow more accessibility and better space for events. In the public area, there are some tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the area. They also seem to plan to have a lot more semi-permenant attractions in the space. Currently their is a roller rink (which is surprisingly affordably priced) . It has historically been home to the Holiday Market (which was moved into the theater area this year because of the construction). I hope the market does move back because Market Square was definitely the better space for it. There is plenty of parking nearby in garages, surface lots and street parking. The one downside is that it is really tough to drive through, especially with the way the renovated it. Drivers seem to be stopping to take in the new look or don't understand directional signage so there is often traffic backups.

Shelves are lined with canned goods, fresh ingredients stored in baskets to buy by the pound, and for some reason branded tourist soap bars. For the Food Tour, we were treated to the fresh hummus and pita. The hummus was very fresh - the owner even discussed how he made it over the last evening, but the pita was extremely dry and flavorless. He was clearly a true chef and creates amazing cuisines. So it is very disappointing that the store has to morph into a touristy shop. The hookah and culture items make sense somewhat, but the Harry Potter and Star Wars themed soap bars just seem like a gimmick that takes away from the true essence of the store. If you like hummus, you should definitely grab a container of the fresh made. But honestly, I doubt many people stop here based on the appearance.

I had purchased some elsewhere recently, but felt compelled to stop in to see Labad's selection. The store ambiance is welcoming, and the man who assisted me was kind and calm when he showed me several types of halva. I chose the Lebanon Valley Halawa Plain. As soon as I got home, I tried a small piece. Oh, my gosh!! I couldn't believe how much better it tastes than any other brand I have tried. What a wonderful flavor and texture! Just perfect. I highly recommend Labad's.
